i second this. i find adjusting volume when using the app quite annoying. before the big sonos app update that upset a lot of users, i could use my smartphone’s volume rocker to adjust the highlighted zone’s volume when using the sonos app. but now, you have to click and drag a tiny slider at the bottom of the app, or click it to open all the speakers playing in a zone and use a slider. would really appreciate bringing back the ability to use my phone’s volume rocker to adjust volume, or as Ronnie suggested two simple + and - buttons on either side of the slider. or a speaker icon indicating louder sound on the right that you can tap to increase volume by 1 level, with the existing left volume icon to lower, and double click the left volume icon to mute.
Hi @Ronnie2209, welcome to the Sonos Community!
If you tap either side of the volume slider in the app, it’ll lower or increase the volume by one notch. Adding a + and - to the sides of the volume bar on both the Now Playing and Your System screen would act in the same way it does now, just with the addition of those extra buttons.
However, I’d be happy to forward your thread to the relevant team as a feature request.
I hope this information helps!

Hi @Axel Hunt, the above messaging for this should also work for you. Tapping either side of the volume slider will increase it or decrease it by one level, which seems like what you’d want from the + and - buttons, though I can understand wanting the actually + and - icons in the app.
I hope this helps!
Thanks Jamie! That info really helps. Would still love being able to use my phone’s volume rocker to adjust, but knowing that I can tap either side of the volume slider for single point volume adjustments will save me a lot of time.
Much appreciated.
