Hi friends, can someone advise me if it is worth buying the sub gen3 or gen4? I don't know if there is a difference between the two. I only have an era 300.

I don’t see any reason not to buy a Sub 4. I just did.
I see improvements that make the Sub 4 a good choice too.

None in particular because the price is the same. I just wanted to know why I bought the sub mini but it didn't meet my expectations due to lack of power, that's why I wanted to buy the big one.
I have a Sub gen 1 and a Sub 4 in adjoining rooms and I notice no sound difference but the lighter weight of the 4 was quite nice, the newer electronics and easier setup are good too. Someday the 4 might get updates the Sub, gen 1,2,3 won’t take.
Easier to turn a Sub 4 down a bit if needed than it is to turn a Mini up to 11. :-)
