before the update ice be compare all three speakers now I cannot pair my speakers together what’s going on with the system I did updates like they told me too and it still does not pair

I have this issue frequently. When I play music particularly from the Spotify app, the Sonos app is not aware that it's playing music. This has happened even when I've used the Sonos app to initiate playback on hardwired speakers. 10 minutes later when I open the Sonos app again, it doesn't realize it's playing music. I have to wait a long time or start some new music l in order to stop it. These are hardwired Sonos devices with in in ceiling speakers so I can't simply push the hardware pause button. Is this a known issue? And is a fix in the works? This seems to have started with the new app roll out.

Can I mount the new arc ultra to my existing arc wall mount ?

I just completed upgrading my Wireless network to a Deco BE11000 Mesh.  This has a 2.4 Ghz & 5Ghz Combo network with a Single SSID and a dedicated IOT network with only a 2.4 Ghz SSID.  I have hard reset my Play 1, One SL, and Roam, I cannot get any of them to add to either of the Wireless networks.  I also have attempted to do an Ethernet connection for the Play 1 and the One SL, while I do see them pop up and get DHCP within my deco app, the Sonos app will not see them or set them up.   when I go to https://IP:1400/support/review  I getZoneName Unnamed Room LocalUID RINCON_38420B5B1D0C01400 Configuration 0 IPAddress 192.168.xx.xx SoftwareVersion 81.1-58210 HardwareVersion 1.28.2.6-1.2 SWGen 2 QuarantineReason   StubReason secreg

Hi community,  Already for some time, I have multiple speakers in my apartment. first, I had two speakers set-up as stereopair. These were visible in AirPlay as just one entity (I mean: you can hit one button on your list of devices, they show up as 1 thing).  Now, i added another stereopair to my set-up. So now there is 4 speakers in one room. Now I see two entities in Airplay: one entity for Stereo Pair A, and one for Stereo Pair B.  What I am looking for, is to combine stereo pair A, and stereo pair B together, by combing these, that makes controlling stuff easier, plus it looks decent ;-).  Now, I know that Sonos offers to “group” speakers together, but that doesn't fix the Airplay entities. So I am actually looking to “merge” the two stereo pairs.  Does anyone knows how to set this up? Or can someone tell me if this is even a possibility? I was also looking into my HAS setup to make this work, but up until now no succes. I hope one of you might be able to help me. Thanks!

Hi, my first post and previous threads on this topic were either old or had comments turned off so here goes.  Although working well, none of my collections album art shows on the Android app.  The build is 80.11.33 and previous posts/comments seem to infer that rolling back to a previous version would solve the issue.  So my question is: has anyone solved the issue or is reverting to a previous build the answer?  I suppose if the answer is yes then the remaining question is how is this achieved?

So, I’ve been getting used to the incremental improvements to the S2 controller and can now play my old Sonos Playlists on my system (3 x Amps plus a Play 3). What I can’t work out though, is how to create a new playlist (ive currenty got 5 or 6 playlists mostly rock or 80s stuff).I want to create my own Christmas playlist but don’t seem to be able to now. I can’t even add/delete songs to my existing playlists to modify one of them into a Christmas list. Any ideas welcome….

I sat down again and tried to import my iTunes playlists. Again without success. I've gradually had enough.Macbook Pro M1 with Sequoia 15.1.1; iTunes playlist is on an external hard drive (../Data2/Music). Sonos 16.4.2. About 50k songs.Sonos refuses to import with error 113When trying to connect the library via network drive connection it does only import Artists and songs but no Playlists. And it does not actualise it regularly.Does anyone have any ideas?I have various speakers and an ARC and have been using the stuff for a long time - but at the moment the whole thing is only good for listening to the radio.Even playing directly from iTunes only works sometimes. Sometimes the connection to the speakers is established, sometimes not. It's all extremely frustrating.

HI, I have my main SOny TV connected to Sonos and everything works great. In another room is another Sony TV, and I would like to be able to connect it also so when watching it, sound is through SOnos also.Is this possible ?thanks in advance.

Hello, A few weeks ago my Sonos Roam reset and subsequently lost connection to Alexa. I've tried reconnecting it via the Sonos App and when I follow the steps and choose Alexa, it attempts to login to the app but all I get is the spinning wheel.Eventually it says try again or cancel. I've deregistered it on the Alexa app and still I'm facing issues. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciatedMatt

I am no doubt overthinking this. Was watching Final Level on Amazon Prime through both Apple TV app and internal TV app (Hisense U7K).The sound was very poor but, having watched it through internal TV speakers too, it seems like a mix issue. However, in trying to figure out what was wrong I moved close to the Arc and ran my ears along it. There is sound from the centre and from each end. To the right of the centre the bass section produces sound. However, there is a dead spot of about 6 inches to the left of centre. Looking at the exploded diagram it seems that this is actually a dead spot (at least front facing) but can anyone confirm that no considerable sound comes from that section before I attempt resolution? It all still sounds fine, balanced etc, just wanted to confirm.

Why is it not possible to search for a song? When I look i can see the album cover: a scrub bar: a volume bar and other items- but no search- the old app let you search for a new song whilst listening to a tune... I have to back out of the screen 2 times to search... terrible... and the lag! Terrible

IssueThe Sonos app has repeatedly been unable to find my new Era 100 speakers after using Spotify Connect. I would then have to reboot the speakers. This wasn’t an issue with my Sonos Ones. It could be a coincidence with the new app architecture? Not sure if this is an app or speaker issue. How to reproduce the issueHave Sonos speakers already set up in the Sonos app and connected/appearing. Go to Spotify and tap Spotify Connect Select relevant speakers Play music for a few minutes Check Sonos app and see its working Pause music and leave it for a few hours - Spotify Connect should auto disconnect from the speakers Go back and attempt to use Spotify Connect to connect to the same speakers, at this point the speakers have disappeared. Go to check in Sonos App, and it says the speakers are not connected.WorkaroundGo to Airplay and the speakers are there Use Airplay instead of Sonos app or Spotify connect (even though it says they’re disconnected)What’s going on? I am unable to see any of my 7 Sonos products . I am only able to see the play bar

Hello Sonos community,I have a specific inquiry regarding the Sonos Move 2 in the 'Green' color variant. I am very enthusiastic about this particular shade and would like to paint my wall in exactly the same color. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate if you could provide me with the exact color code (RAL, Pantone, or RGB) of this olive green shade.Thank you in advance for your assistance.Kind regards,

I'm unapologetically repeating this topic because the answer 6 months ago was to wait for app updates. Surely 6 months is long enough to wait for basic functionality to be restored so can we at least have a forecast when we'll get it back please?POV: It's a well known adage in software development that you should never throw it all away and start again because you'll spend years getting back to where you were and rediscovering why each weird bit of code worked the way it did. Very sadly Sonos didn't know about this😥😥😥😥

Having trouble cousins sub gen 4…do not get “highlighted” area on side and I’ve tried entering the number on the bottom and the sub is not connecting

I purchased a Sonos Beam (Gen2) with a Sub Mini, it worked fine for the first few weeks and then the volume rocker stopped working from my remote. I went back to the store (Best Buy) & exchanged the Beam for the Arc.Same issue prevails. My Sonos is plugged into the E-Arc HDMIEverything else works with the remote, just the volume is the problem. I was told that if Sonos pushed a new firmware update that will resolve my volume issue & it will start working again, is that really true?Would love to get an expert from Sonos to respond to this

I just ran the updater (desperate to solve the big problems that started awhile ago). It got to “Updating Controller: Installing” and the progress bar is 100%. But nothing more has happened for ca. 30 min. Could it be stuck? Absent any feedback from the installer, I’m getting tired of waiting.

New app created some issues but system would still function.  Installed a new WiFi router with new network name and now only my pair of Sonos Ones will connect.  My Sonos 5 will not and my older Sonos speakers will not.

I purchased a Beam Gen 2 last week. After a bit of messing around I got it successfully connected via the ARC HDMI connection (not eARC - my TV doesn’t have that). But since then it keeps dropped out and then reconnecting. I have tried disconnecting everything and powering off and going through setup again. It will then work for 30 mins or so then drop off. TV shows the message TV Speakers Active and the Beam is no longer visible in External Devices in the Bravia Sync section. If I try to reconnect via the Sonos app I get the message that something is interfering with the connection, unplug all home theatre equipment. I don’t have any other home theatre equipment and I have even tried unplugging my DVD player so the Beam is the only connection, but still get this issue. If I do nothing and just leave the TV on the internal speakers, the Beam reconnects after 20 mins or so then disconnects a little later.TV and Beam are fully updated, I’m using the supplied Sonos HDMI cable. Any suggest

I have a full Sonos system in a large house, but now also own a small condo.  I want to move one Sonos 5 speaker to that condo, effectively creating a new system.  But the app isn’t finding the speaker on the condo’s WiFi.  What do I do?

Beam not playing. It is connected to wifi, but cannot be found either through Spotify or Sonos app. However, when I ask Alexa to play Spotify it works???? But still doesn’t show in app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled updated app. My play 5 is working fine. Not sure what else to do. Thanks

Hoi, ik heb onlangs een Sonos5 gekocht wanneer ik die toch eens samen met de home cinema laat spelen (muziek) dan heeft de 5 een vertraging. Krijg in die weg? Moderator Edit - Translation by Google: Hi, I recently bought a Sonos5 and when I play it together with the home cinema (music), the 5 has a delay. Get in that way?

I just got an LG OLED48B49LA and since the internal speakers are really bad, I would like to use my two Sonos Five Speakers with it.This used to work fine with the old TV (plus Apple TV) I had before, as it had a chinch output, so I could connect the TV to the Five speaker through 3,5mm and could control the volume with the Apple TV remote. The new TV does not have that, it only has optical and HDMI Arc.I bought an Optical-Chinch Adapter, which works fine but obviously I can’t control the volume of the speakers with the LG TV remote. This is my question: what options do I have to be able to control the volume of my speakers with the TV remote?Any adapters, any other products to buy that aren’t too expensive? I would like to avoid buying a Sonos Arc for now. Thanks for taking time, I really appreciate it.
