New app created some issues but system would still function. Installed a new WiFi router with new network name and now only my pair of Sonos Ones will connect. My Sonos 5 will not and my older Sonos speakers will not.
Sonos doesn’t make a 5. They did make a PLAY:5 (of two generations) and do make the Sonos Five, though.
Have you connected this speaker to your router temporarily with an Ethernet cable?
Have you called Sonos Support directly to discuss it?
As you have got the Sonos Ones switched over to the new WiFi network you could wire one of those to the router to make it initiate a SonosNet connection and power off/on your other products and all will/should show up using the SonosNet link during startup - then proceed to update the network SSID/Password to all the other speakers via ‘Update Networks’ in the Sonos App network settings.
If that doesn’t work for a device, for any reason, you could always go onto factory reset that problem device only and add it back to your system using ‘Add Product’ in the ‘Settings’ area of the App, but hopefully that won’t be necessary.
