I’ve seen no effort by Sonos to recognize that Sonos needs realize their products need to offer a way to speed up sound to allow it to catch up to the video. Work on correcting you lip sync delay scale to go into the NEGATIVE area. Let’s say a range of -5 to +5.
I really hoped to have seen solutions rather than blame being cast back to the tv makers. Unfortunately it’s not happening. So many people live with terrible lip sync issues and I’ve personally been forced to show captions to allow shows to make some sort of sense.
in the meantime I’m never recommending Sonos to anyone.

SONOS processing is at the wrong location in the signal chain to correct this issue. The video needs to be delayed. Unfortunately, SONOS is an audio processing product. In order to correct this issue a “box” needs to be inserted prior to the TV. This “box” would delay the video. I’m not aware of any such general purpose “box” available on the consumer market.
If you are using a cable box or other set top box, investigate the audio sync options offered by that device.
