Towards the end of last year I was being offered the trade-up deal on my “Connect”. I didn’t have time to deal with it around Christmas so I left it. Having heard recently about software upgrades being terminated for legacy products, I went back to take another look.  I was surprised to find that my “Connect” is now described as a “modern product” and the trade-up offer appears to have been withdrawn. What’s going on here? How can my device be more up to date now than it was last year?  

Hi.. In my Sonos I use a separate account for google. In the sonos app I go to Google Assistant and then click Music services. I select Spotify and I am logged into the App with the account I want to link to the assistant. The app flash up and then go back to the assistant and I get Unknown error. It is impossible to link to my Spotify account from assistant!!! I talked to google home assistant and they tried to help me for 1 hour and gave up. We manage to link the Spotify account from a web page but the assistant still fails to see it. I talked to Sonos support that tells me to talk to Google assistant and they tells me talk to Sonos.. This is so bad and I get zero help! Any suggestions ?  

Sonos say they won’t be supporting the Connect ZP90 soon so what do I replace this with? I use it to connect my record player to my Sonos system.  Thanks

Hi,  Don’t know it this is a Sonos, Apple or Philips problem. But it all started when I connected my Sonos Beam to my TV.  What happens? I change my TV to show the HDMI-port which my Apple-TV is connected to. The picture shows up but a message says “connecting” and after 30 seconds the Apple-TV turns off (connecting is still there for like another 45 sec, so I don’t know if that has someting to do with the problem). If I turn it on again it will be turned on as long as I want.  I have a Philips 55” 6097, Apple-TV 4K and a Sonos Beam all connected via HDMI and the Sonos Beam controlled with ARC. Before I connected the Sonos Beam the Apple-Tv didn’t behave like this (I had the sound thorugh an Onkyo Recevier). Anyone have any ideas?

I have a Sonos One that I also use as an alarm clock, setting it via the app is simple but I don't get a notification as soon as the alarm goes off. I can't snooze it without opening the app, at notifications I don't see any Sonos so I can't turn it on either. I have iPhone X on iOS 13.4, Sonos app has been updated to the latest version (10.6.2).

Hi,   does anyone have a Sonos system with an eero router? I have a single eero router (not a mesh setup) and I’m experiencing a lot of issues with my Sonos system since I migrated my network to eero.    I followed all the elementary steps in the Sonos app to reconnect the missing speaker. But what happens is that I’ll be able to only see the one wired in and not the wireless. connections is intermittent and speakers that are reconnected would go missing again. Sonos support mentioned that the eero is broadcasting two IP addresses? I know it has a single SSID with two separate bands 2.4 and 5.    I know the forums are laced with issues with eero and Sonos but most of their setup is with the mesh system. Mine is not.    Hardwiring the Sonos system is not feasible at this time.    is this an issue with eero specifically? If so, I’ll return it.     

Hi all! My playbar suddenly got a bit quieter with playing 5.1 sources (I am talking 15% quieter, but only PB, the surround Play 3s are loud). This happened to me once before, and it went away simply by powering Playbar  on/off. Now this method does not work. Do you have any suggestions? Also, if the Trueplay is activated, does the EQ for Playbar have any effect on sound? Thank you Neven

I have an LG projector and a Yamaha receiver, Sonos beam and sub, and wired in surround backs wired to my sonos amp. I typically stream stuff off my laptop through the yamaha receiver which then feeds the video to the projector. The receiver is a TSR-7850 and has an HDMI ARC. I can get picture going from my laptop to my projector but I can’t get corresponding sound through the receiver to my beam and subsequently throughout the surround sound sonos setup. What am I doing wrong?

I have the Sonos Port with a turntable and I would like to stream the turntable to my One SL’s and Apple TV and other AirPlay2 Speakers (Libratone Zipp), but I do not see that this is possible - am I missing something? All I can do is stream to Sonos speakers from the Sonos Port. Is there even such a device in existence that can take an analogue input and then output that signal to AirPLay 2 speakers? I do get that an iPad/iPhone can AirPlay out to certain Sonos devices - and I CAN stream audio from my Apple TV to the Sonos One SL’s. therefore making those Sonos devices considered “AIrPlay 2 compatible”, but I think I’m looking for something that doesn’t exist. 

Hello,    Over the past month my Xfinity XR15 remote stopped controlling my sonos beam. It was working since September of 2019.    The instructions on app say to “point at beam and press volume up.” No signal is being recognized.    What other ways can I reconnect? 

Hi I'm currently experiencing a problem using Alexa on two different Sonos speakers (a One and a Move) and was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. The issue I am having is when I play a song on my daughter's speaker, it starts fine and continues to play until I go into my son's room and ask Alexa to play a song on his speaker. This causes the first song in my daughter's room to stop and the song in my son's room will continue to play.  The set up I have is two Amazon accounts using the household sharing option within the Alexa app, two separate Spotify accounts with one each assigned to the Amazon accounts mentioned and the accounts have been set up separately on each speaker (the speakers will say which Spotify account it is streaming from before it plays a track) If anyone can answer my question or find me a solution I'd be grateful as this problem is rendering my multi room set up useless in regards to using Alexa because both my kids want their own speakers in their

Hi all, i recently bought 2 Sonos One Gen 2.  They look 100% identical. As unboxed them i immediately recognized a difference in the Booklet Design. After Installing and registering the Products, i realized a second difference. Have a look at Hardwareversion and Serien-ID.   Now i was wondering if there is a difference? If one Version is improved over the other? Put short: Should i go back to the Store, a swap the “older” Revision for the new one?   Thanks in Advance.      

Trying to integrate my 4 sonos speakers with my alexa app and its just not working. I search for devices as instructed and my nest heating is appearing as are my hue bulbs but no sign of sonos. I have updated both the sonos and alexa apps. Anyone any thoughts?

So, all of the sudden my single Sonos One Gen2 cant broadcast because it says there are no other Google Home devices on the network. No network changes have been made. There is a Sonos One Gen2 pair as surrounds in my living room that can broadcast without issue as well as a Beam in the bedroom. I've tried resetting the single Sonos One. I've tried resetting the controller. I've tried removing and re-adding Google Assistant. Nothing works. Any ideas? EDIT: I see the "Somos" spelling error but I typed this on my phone and can't edit the title. 😂

I am building a new house using multiple Sonos AMPs for speakers around the house.    Two of the AMPs will be connected to TVs in the house and the AMPs will all be located in a centralized cabinet.    I would also like to have my Apple TV’s, Blu-ray players etc. at the same location as the AMPs.    The most straight forward approach would be to install (i) 1x HDMI from each TV to connect to the TVs ARC supported HDMI and then to the AMPs plus (ii) 1x or more HDMIs from each TV for the Apple TV’s etc.    However, due to cost of installation and for simplicity of connections by the TVs, I would prefer to have only 1 HDMI installed for each TV.    I know I could do this with a third party receiver with multiple HDMI-inputs (see attachment). But as I already own a few Sonos Subs, love Sonos and and have decided on the Sonance Architectural speakers, I will be using the Sonos AMP.    Does anybody know a Switch that will enable me to use 1 HDMI from the TV to pass ARC and CEC to/from the AM

  My Samsung 8000 TV and Beam are connected using ARC. When I watch my Apple TV and control the volume with my Apple remote, only the Beam volume bar appears on the screen. When I use my TV remote to control the volume, two volume bars appear on the screen - the Beam volume bar and the Samsung Anynet+ volume bar.  Can I get the Anynet+ volume bar to disappear?   Also, when I control the volume on my Beam, the volume changes in increments of two, e.g., 42, 44, 46, 48. Is it supposed to adjust in increments of two rather than one? Thank you!    

I am trying to find the best way to integrate Sonos with my already pre-wired family room sound system.What I have:   Living Room 4 rear speakers (pre-wired in the ceiling) Front LR speakers (pre wired in the wall) Front Center speaker (pre wired in the wall below the TV) TV above the fireplace Currently using a Receiver in the basemen Rest of House 12 other zones in the house with a 12 zone amp in basement.  I plan on using Connects or Ports for all of those (NOTE: all zone speakers in the ceiling wired to the basement). What I want: The ability to play music via Sonos to all 7 in-wall speakers in family room. The ability to hear my TV sound coming out of all 7 in wall speakers The ability to also play the TV sound in any other room (I can live without this) Use my existing speakers instead of putting an ugly soundbar in front of my inwall speakers (seems tacky) I NEED a great quality center channel… I can't hear dialog very well with current set up. Hi allI am a complete technical dinosaur and need help!I want to purchase a turntable for my husband and have worked out that I need one with a built in preamp. That’s as far as I get because I now need to know whether we can use with our current Sonos set up.Can I plug the audio technica LP120XUSB into a Sonos Zone Player ZP100 in order to play through my Sonos speakers? We have 2 of these but only using one at the moment which works the built in ceiling speaker I think!. In the same space we then have 2 extra Play 1 speakers which pad out the sound a bit, as it’s a large room. if anyone has advice (in simple language) I’d be ever so gratefulmany thanks!

I currently own a Denon amp with a Center speaker and 2 left and right and speakers plus a sub. I am thinking of switching to sonos, so will this cofigiration work as a settup. A Sonos Beam (or Playbar) which my Tv is connected to via HDMI ARC. A Sonos Amp with the third party speakers and sub. Will this work together were the Beam works as a center speaker and the amp as left and right, and will the sub also work in this settup ? Will i get a simialer surround sound feeling as i do now ?​​​​​​  

Ah come on Sonos, alarms used to be so easy. It used to be click ‘More’, click alarms. Now in 10.4 it’s click ‘Settings’, click ‘System’, scroll around a bit, click ‘Alarms’. Why? Sometimes it feels like Sonos is constantly changing stuff for the sake of change, not to improve the functionality.

Hi. My Sonos system has worked perfectly for years, but have recently started to experience an issue whereby playback of music will suddenly stop altogether. The length of time this happens after is fairly random but it could happen a couple of minutes into the first song, or in the middle of the second or third. It happens both whilst playing music from my NAS, or from internet services like Amazon music. This has been happening for a few weeks now and is difficult to pinpoint to a single cause, because several changes happened in my home at round about the same time: i) there was a large Sonos software update which failed several times before finally working; ii) I got a new NAS (so my music library moved); iii) I moved some of my network devices around; iv) I upgraded my main broadband router to a BT Smart Hub (although these last two were largely in response to the problem!).
