Hello everyone !New member here. Happy New Year. I was wondering if some of you are experiencing trouble with Spotify right now.Everything was working fine playing Spotify from my Sonos but now it’ not working anymore.Spotify is working on my phone with my domestic Wifi but I can’t put the sound on my Sonos system.Same problem if I try directly from the Sonos app.

I have had Sonos for a couple of years had issues with it off and on recently i added a beam and sub to my 2 play 1 in my living room and now I have nothing but problems.  Most of the time the beam won’t show up but when it finally does one of the other speakers or sub won’t show up. I have tried everything (reboot router remove all speakers and add them again etc.) to get it working, I bought a boost to see if that would help but it did nothing. What is wrong with these why don’t they work I am ready to go out and buy a different brand that works.

I use Sonos play 3. When controlling volume from Spotify app its really slow. If I set volume, it takes a good five seconds before something happens. It's also really problematic to set the volume right. If I adjust it to ie 70% maybe it is set to 50% after some time. From the Sonos app, everything is fine. This applies to both android and ios apps.

I have seen a couple of people finding solutions to setting up the Sonos Beam with a TV with no Arc or Optical in. I do obviously need a converter and i didn't want to buy the wrong one, so i’m reaching out for some assistance. the TV is a 2013 Toshiba model: 50L5300UCI have attached a picture with the back of the TV, which converter would work ?Appreciate the help in advance!

Hello. I’m experiencing music breaking up every time I skip tracks. This has been going on for more than a month, and was fine previously.I’m using Deezer, controlled via an iPad and android phones, same as before the problem started.I've a Boost connected to the router via Ethernet cable. The cable’s fine, a swapped it out for a new one and no change.I took a Play3 and placed it close to the Boost and router, no change: the same breaking up when tracks skipped.I plugged the Play3 into the router with an Ethernet cable; problem gone. So it seems I have a WiFi connection issue.I tried all three channels on the Sonos app. No change.Did the reset of the whole system as described elsewhere, no change.there is no new equipment in the vicinity, so no new source of interference.if I group my two play3s (in different rooms) and my Playbar (which is wired) the problem also goes away. Can you help please?

Hi, I saw the announcement of Google Assistant in Singapore - when will it be rolled out to Malaysia?

Hello, I’m DJing with a DDJ 1000 and i’m interested in buying a SONOS FIVE for my small living room. My main need is to have no latency. I saw that the SONOS FIVE has a AUX IN, but I also heard that the SONOS FIVE has a 70ms latency with its Wi-Fi connection. Is it possible to confirm to me that with the AUX IN, there is no latency ? Thanking you in advance for your answer !

Since this morning :my Beam is no longer recognized by my Samsung EU46ES7000 TVTherefore it does not work anymore with my TVConnection : HDMI ARC (CEC Anynet+)

Hello, as everyone, I’m excited about the Sonos arc capability, but unable to directly find an answer to my question from the internet.  I currently have a Sony OLED A8F with HDMI Arc and mainly utilize a sony bluray player and Apple 4K TV for my movie and streaming.   My question is, I am aware that my TV will only be able to deliver at best DD Plus Atmos to the Arc due to HDMI ARC.  However, I am curious if I bought an AV receiver with HDMI 2.1 capability if it is possible to deliver the Dolby TrueHD Atmos to the Sonos Arc this way?  I already am looking for options as the Sony bluray player I have delivers gorgeous Dolby vision to my TV, but it can’t deliver surround sound to my Sonos as it can’t convert DTS:X to Dolby (and thus I generally use my apple TV), so I am looking for a receiver that can convert that as well.  Anyways, I understand there are a lot of variables at play, I just want to deliver Dolby TrueHD to a sonos Arc via an AV receiver and am curious if that is possible

After updating to Sonos2, unbeknown to me until recently, my Sub had stopped working. Tried to reconnect it but having issues when I get to part of the process where you connect the device to a room/playbar. Have tried:Factory reset the Sub Sub connects fine to a temp network Checked my Wifi and wired network Moved as much RF interferring materials between the device and the APThe Sonos App (iOS) comes up with the following:“There was a problem with adding your Sub. Check the network connection and make sure your product is powered on.”I have logged a call, but I’m a little impatient.Any help would be appreciated.B

Hello. I just bought the SONOS ARC soundbar. I connected it to an LG OLED C9 PLA via eARC and it works perfectly, but if I want to change the sound output from the TV to a headset, or to the TV speakers, after a few seconds, the bar dominates the connection and automatically switches back to the eARC output, beeing impossible to use headphones without disconnecting the HDMI.Are there any configuration options to prevent eARC from dominating the audio output? Thanks

I turned on continued conversation yesterday after setting up Google Assistant on my three speakers (Beam and two Sonos One). I didn’t like it so decided to turn it off but realized today that the speakers are still listening after my initial command. I tried toggling the continued conversation setting in both the Google Home and Google Assistant apps on my iPhone (iOS 14.3) but nothing has worked. I tried leaving the toggle on for a few minutes and then turning back off but all three still give a second ping and listen after the first command. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to solve it?This is annoying but also gives me major privacy concerns since at least this feature is listed as “off” in Google’s apps but is actually still running on the devices!!!

I have been using Alexa on our Sono One for months with no real issue but in the past couple of weeks the timers have become unreliable. It's not a consistent problem but it seems that most attempts to set a timer are now failing. There are three scenarios:

say "Alexa, set timer for 10 minutes" > no audible response from Alexa to confirm that it has been set but if then asked "Alexa, how much time left on the timer?", Alexa confirms that timer is set. Timer goes off as expected.
say "Alexa, set timer for 10 minutes" > no audible response from Alexa to confirm that it has been set but if then asked "Alexa, how much time left on the time", confirms that timer is set. Timer DOES NOT go off as expected.
say "Alexa, set timer for 10 minutes" > audible response from Alexa to confirms that it has been set. Timer DOES NOT go off as expected.
I tried turning off and on again but there is no change to the behaviour

Sonos Web portal and users account should be improved to allow backorders or any orders not shipped to be cancelled.  As of today, even Chat Support was unable to assist me in cancellation of my order.  The service rep stated my request to cancel ordered had to be elevated...seriously!

I have just bought my Sonos Arc and paid the Virgin 360 remote so I can change the volume. This function worked for about 1 week, then all of a sudden, I was not able to change the volume of my sonos arc using the Virgin 360 remote. I tried to re-pair the Sonos Arc and Virgin 360 remote, replaced the batteries in the remote and reboot the virgin box. None of this works, when it worked for about 1 week.  Please can someone advise on this issue?

I have two sets of wired speakers with my current stereo system, but I would like to move to the Sonos system so that I can control music remotely and in different rooms.  I have looked at the Sonos Amp, however most of the time I will not want to have music playing on both sets of wired speakers I have at the same time.  It looks like the Amp does not give me the option of playing music through only one set of the speakers at a time.  What are my options?  Speaker switch? Also, if I did go with the Amp, could I install a pair of Sonos wireless speakers and have it playing the same music that is playing through my wired speakers?Thank you in advance for any heip you can give.

hi, with your  trade in scheme, can I trade an old connect, for a new amp, if so could you tell me the price.

Sonos is so unrealiable. I am just fed up. Many times I hear music and suddenly it stops. I have 5 sonos loudspeakers at home (sonos one) . The wifi network is excellent. Sonos is just lousy.

New Arc with Sub and two One SL speakers unboxed today tried to set them setup and got nothing but irritation. The Arc connects through the app on android and I get sound from the TV through the Arc. I can connect the sub and speaker with the android app but when I try to add them to the Arc they simply will not connect. Everything is connected to the same subnet the android devices and all the speakers.  I have tried on two android devices, uninstalled the app and re-installed the app on both devices, restarting both android devices multiple time including between the uninstall, lost count of the number of times I have reset all of the Sonos components by powering them off and holding the connect button on power on. I moved the access point right next to the speakers, tried an ethernet connection directly to the speakers and restarted the access point several times nothing seems to work to get the sub and surround connected to the Arc. When I open the app on android in system to the r

Hi, when I try and listen to an audiobook using audible, I got a ‘… song not encoded correctly’ error. This was working until quite recently. any idea on how to resolve?

I’m interested in the Surround Set, which has 4 products within it (Arc, Sub, 2x One SL). I also have a bunch of 30% upgrade discounts available, and plan to use them.If I buy the Surround Set, does it use up one of my upgrade discounts, or 4 of them?

I received a Sonos Arc Shadow soundbar for Christmas and added some Sono One SL speakers.  How can I control the soundbar and speakers at the same time with my remote? I have a Samsung Smart TV. When I want to mute the speakers, it only mutes the soundbar.  Once TV turned off and turned back it only turns on the sound for the sound bar.  Can they all be sync to work the same?

I recently purchased a Sonos Five. I first had it hardwired with an Ethernet Cable to my router and I was able to use Tidal Connect like Spotify connect. I recently moved the speaker and it is now connected to 5GHZ wifi instead of being hardwired and now the Sonos speaker will not show up as an option on Tidal Connect. Spotify connect still works though. Any help?

Hi Team,      I have 4k projector which supports only ARC. I am looking for Sonos eARC , I know the current version doen’t support this compatibility to enjoy the Atmos. In future is there is any plan to support this similar to https://www.hdfury.uk/product/hdfury-arcana/ , If so I can wait for it , please help me to rectify this problem. Thanks

I ordered a Beam and 2 Ones for a home theater setup mainly for music streaming, along with watching some movies in surround.  The Beam got lost in the mail so I received the 2 One’s first.  Easy to setup.  I set them up as stereo speakers and they sounded great.  Finally, a few days later, my Beam arrived.  I found to add the speaker, I had to break the stereo setup (in Sonos app) and then I could add them to the Beam as surround speakers. Here’s the issue.  I don’t think it sounds as good.  With just the two One’s the sound seemed to be coming from everywhere and was crystal clear.  Now they are configured as rears, seems that most of the sound comes from the Beam and the One’s are really low.  The sound seems to mainly be coming from the Beam and not traveling the room anymore.  Am I doing something wrong?  Do the One’s just have better fidelity?  Thanks for your help.
