When I moved my SONOS Arc and Sub Gen 3 to a new router and connected them using Ethernet the two One SLs I had set up as surrounds over WiFi are found by my system in the set up but no sound comes from the speakers. I rebooted the One SLs and they reappear in the system but still no sound comes from the speakers. If I try using the Trueplay Tuning function it tells me I am missing speakers. If I change both the ARC and Sub to WiFi connectivity the system works as expected and I can tune the system using the Trueplay tuning feature.

I can't change the volume using either my mobile device or the touch controls. If I hold my finger on the down volume button it goes down for a second but then surges up again.Any advice appreciated.

Hello,I have a unique setup and need to connect 6 speakers (3 pairs) into a single Sonos Amp. I know this is not recommended, but have been told it is possible. Speakers arehttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007VWA8C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1Frequency: 65Hz - 22kHz Impedance: 4-8 Ohm Power: 250 Watts Rated Peak PowerHow can this be wired so that the amp and speakers will not be damaged? Thanks!

Hi all, I currently have a Playbar setup on my main floor with surround they does not include microphones or alexa. I am planning a surround Arc setup in my basement that will support alexa. Once that is set up, will it be possible for the following?Ask Alexa to “play music on main floor” and have the alexa from the basement Arc send the command to the Playbar system? if yes, will I be able to use an Alexa device on my main floor, an echo dot, to command the Arc to command the Playbar to play music?or is that too far fetched?!

Is there a way to rearrange the order in which items appear in the Music Source window? Ideally, I want to bring my Spotify playlists up to the main page so I can see them right away. As it is now, I have to go through several steps to get there.Thanks.Russ

My TV keeps turning off randomly. An LG technician attended and looked up the logs on the TV. Identified the Simplink CEC as the cause of the shutdown. Apparently if it doesn’t get a signal from a device connected via HDMI it assumes the TV is no longer required. Advised to turn off CEC which he did. This created a new problem which is no sound via Beam. I selected the HDMI ARC output (which is where the Beam is connected via) and this triggers the CEC to come back on. It seems that in order to have the Beam running and as the primary sound output, CEC needs to be on. This brings us back to square 1 i.e TV turning itself off. The LG technician claims this third party device i.e Sonos Beam is not supported. Any ideas?

For probably 2 years I have not been able to log onto the SONOS S1 App on my iPhone.I think I used an old email address which the app defaults to.  I can’t see where I can update my email address and I can’t remember my old password.  I have created an online account with my current email address - but the app will not accept it.I have deleted the app and reinstalled it - but it always asks for the password to an old email address. Is there anything I can to do get my app working properly - not being able to log in restricts the things I can use if for. Any advice would be welcome.

Hi If I connect tree pairs if in ceiling speakers to one amp, is it possible to make each pair play by them selves or will all of them always play at the same time?  thanks

I understand that using a Port to stream music to non-Sonos speakers though an AV receiver works great.  But if you want to group your Port (room) with Sonos speakers in another room (I have Sonos Ones) there is a delay.  So it is out of sync.    One solution is to use direct mode (or similar modes) on the AV receiver, but that takes away the sub and room equalization, etc.    So is anyone using the Port with an AV receiver, and has been able to use modes other than pure/direct (or whatever the AV receiver calls it) - and still have it sync with grouped Sonos speakers?  I would like to use All CH Stereo with my AV receiver (where all speakers play, including the sub).  But not sure if that is considered “processing” that will introduce delay.  At a minimum, I would like to use Stereo (which uses the sub and equalization).

I have a turntable that I want to play over my pair of Play 5s. Bought a Port, plugged in and it's only playing over one Play 5, but other sources still play as paired. What am I doing?

Isn’t it about time Sonos sorted this error out?No updates, no altering files, no upgrade, no changes whatsoever. Can connect yesterday, and the day before and since the last update no problem, now today, as usual with its periodic glitches it can’t find the music files - no one moved them, or changed them so why can’t it suddenly find them on a computer dedicated to playing Sonos?

I added a second Sonos Five.  Want to pair it up with my other Five for use on my Turntable.  Is there a best way to orientate the speakers (vertically or horizontally) and do I Trueplay after pairing or before pairing?

Why can't I "airplay" BBC Sounds using my samsung android device. There is more than one mobile significant smartphone phone provider

Any tips? The whole "hey google, turn bathroom volume down to 10p" makes no sense? The music you're listening to then turns down to 10p? What am I missing?

Hi there!I have a Google Assistant related issue--my Sonos System (Arc, Sub+Move) is linked to Google Assistant and everything worked perfectly fine so far. A few days ago I had to restart all devices as they were not found in the Sonos App. Google Assistant is still linked to my Sonos Move but does not work any longer (Assistant is not available). The Arc has no Google Assistant linked any longer and is also not found when I try to locate it both over the Google Home and Sonos App. Thanks for your help! As I did not change anything and it stopped working I guess this is related to the latest Software Update?!Btw I have also sent a diagnostic report with ID 257824096. Maybe you can see what went wrong. Thanks!

I’ve got two play 5s in stereo and they have been working flawlessly for a month.   Now the right speaker disconnected and I cannot get it to reconnect whatever I do.   I’ve tried factory resetting, connecting to the router, everything.   The app gets as far as seeing there is a new speaker, when I press the button on the back, I hear the chime but then it says ‘error not connected’.   Every time.   Diagnostic 1423631518

I got a new iMac and moved my library over to the new computer.  My new computer will not allow the Sonos to connect.  I checked the firewall and the sharing folder.  Still won’t connect. Need help

Upgraded the connect:amp in the garage (to play music over outdoor wired speakers) to the amp (so we could also play the outdoor tv over the speakers).  Want to repurpose the connect:amp indoors to work with a turntable and wired speakers.  Anyone have the perfect budget setup they recommend?

Hi, Just got a Google Home for Xmas and am trying to add my sonos speaker to it.  I’ve enabled the Google Assistant in the Sonos App however now when I go into either Google Home or Google Assistant app, each speaker is listed twice and I can’t seem to delete just one of them. Any one else experienced this before

Looking for feedback on everyone else’s experience with the responsiveness of their Google Assistant on Sonos devices. I got the Sonos One with Google assistant so I can use it with my other Google nest devices, but the GA on the Sonos, is terrible. Home routines can only be started on my actual Google devices and has terrible responsiveness to commands connecting to other devices such as Google chrome, glitchy Spotify commands, will activate YouTube when asking it to resume play on the TV after successfully “pausing” the TV. The GA on the Sonos is really more frustrating than it is useful. I’ve also discovered that you can’t start home routines on the GA Sonos device either. Should have gotten the Sonos without the Google assistant had I known how terrible it would be.

Hi - I’m putting together a 2-channel audio setup featuring a turntable. I already have an older model Connect device. I’m wondering, if I wire like this:Turntable >preamp > Connect Analog In > Connect Analog Out > receiver > speakersWhen listening locally, will the signal be converted to digital at some point? Mainly, by going in and out of the Sonos Connect using the analog ports, will the signal remain analog all the way through for my local receiver?I realize that when streaming to another device it will be converted, but I’m looking for a way to keep the signal analog when listening locally.Thanks.

I’m replacing Beam with an Arc, can anyone confirm the HDMI cable supplied with Beam is the same as supplied with Arc ?Would save me the hassle of changing cable which is hidden behind wall, thanks.

The Keyboard does not allow letter selection on right hand side.

Just purchased a Sonos Move. First day was able to power it up and connect to the WIFI system and it worked well. Now it appears that it will not power up and looks like it is not connected to the Sonos system.

I have a Denon AVR-X6400H which has the HEOS wireless streaming integration.  I would really like to wirelessly stream to my Sonos Move through one of the additional zones on the Denon. Is this is possible?
