Keen to purchase a Move. It will be used indoors and then outdoors in the summer. I have an existing Sonos system working off a Boost. Will Move be able to connect to the Boost and be apart of my system. I was a little worried about this phase: <<The Move can connect to your router’s Wi-Fi network but not the separate wireless network created by a wired Sonos product.»I use WIFI all the time. I have signed up for Amazon HD music, I read the SONOS article saying What is Amazon Music on Sonos?There are four tiers of access to Amazon Music on Sonos:Amazon Music Unlimited Amazon Music HD Prime Music Amazon Music LibraryOk..  sounds good - but when you add Amazon Music and select from the services it only shows Amazon Music. There is no distinction specifying the different services.Does the stream revert to what I have purchased “HD” automatically?Thanks

Hi, I own a sonos beam. On my iphone app i can see an available firmware update. When i try to update i get error 49.  I have tried first rebooting the beam and then also tried doing a factory reset. However, both did not work.  My sonos 2 app is latest - no pending app update.  Please advise.  Thanks Varun

I’m wanting to input audio into my Beam over HDMI, but not using HDMI ARC from my TV.   i intend to use the Beam in addition to my Sony AV receiver home cinema set up, so the TVs HDMI ARC is already in use.   I’ve connected the TV’s optical to the Beam using the adaptor, but the audio is out of sync with the receiver’s audio.  So, I want to feed audio into the Beam from the AV receiver’s 2nd HDMI output instead. Is that possible?   It could be that the audio sync issue is due to signal processing delays in the receiver, but won’t know for sure until I try it over HDMI. The audio delay is the reason why I got rid of the Sonos Connect, the audio was out of sync with the other Sonos speakers due to AV receiver signal processing delays.

My sonos speakers disappeared for the S2 app.At no stage in restarting the speakers did it ever say that I was going to lose my playlist and this is absolutely unacceptable. In my research just now I see that this is an ongoing issue since 2013. It is unacceptable that this isn't published and that I can't get my playlists back. In fact there is also no way of backing up playlist on Android. This is a big viability gap in your products and it seems you just choose not to address it. It seems as this issue is 5 years old that rather than  look after the substantial investment your clients making your systems you choose to ignore it. For what purpose ?. Don't get me wrong I love the Sonos sound system and it's quality and can recommended on that basis -  however this issue of continually losing playlists and favourites is a show stopper.The viability of your product is in question for me and many others. The product is not sold with the understanding the playlist , favourites cannot be s

Hi, I have a recurring (sometimes it happens, sometimes not) when trying to play my SONOS radio station in the android app or windows 10 app. I get the error message “unable to play the Radio station" while at the same time all other applications using internet work and I am still able to stream Spotify Music to my Sonos system. Rebooting router, phone or laptop does not resolve the issue.As it happens simultaneously at my phone and laptop while other streaming services still work, I'm quite sure the problem is on SONOS-side. Also, when I start the same radio station from Tune-In music service in the SONOS-app, it works! So the problem seems the be with the SONOS Radio Stations only….Somebody has any idea/ suggestions how to fix it?PS: I sent diagnostic report 499739099 to SONOS. Thanks,Marc

I have had 2 Play:1 speakers for a while and have been controlling them with an Echo Dot. I added a Sonos One and decided to move to all Google Home devices after reading Sonos finally integrated with Google.  I added the Google Assistant as a Voice Service in the Sonos app. The Sonos One now answers to ‘hey Google’ and all 3 of my Sonos speakers showed up in the Google Home app. I can get music to play from Amazon on any of my Sonos devices using the Sonos One or any Google Home device. However I cannot get music to play from Spotify (the default). It says ‘sure’ and ‘here you go’ but nothing happens. I called Sonos and was told there was currently a known issue but not seeing anything on https://status.sonos.com/ Anyone have any suggestions?    

I have connected beam to HDMI arc on tv and have sky box  switched to dolby the lip sync s not right. I have tried solving this for hours but can't. What is the best set up to get dolby without the lip sync issue?

I am looking to add turntable to my existing SONOS system and am looking at the Audio Technica LP-120XUSB. I have a SONOS port that I will connect it to. I am looking for input from anyone that has the LP-120XUSB or the previous LP-120USB.

I’m just putting together a new home cinema set up - LG 65 OLED, Arc and my two old Sonos Ones as rear speakers (may add the sub later).The placement of the TV above the (inactive) fireplace means it’s quite difficult to get the Arc the recommended 4” below the bottom of the tv. The Arc is also placed just above head height as the is mounted atop the fireplace at about 120cm.Two questions really.. Is it really an issue if the gap between the Arc and TV is less than 4” and does it matter that the Arc is higher than sat down head height. Can i get away with both of these or is it going to cause an issue?

When I ask GA to increase volume indeed increases it. But only by 1%, which is not perceivable at all. So if I wanted to go from 20% to 30% I would need to ask it 10 times! This should be much more rapid, like 0% (muted), 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% or even 0, 5%, 10%, 20% etc. Similarly If I ask GA to “Set volume to 5”, it sets it to 5%, not 50%. Is it a recent bug, something that will get fixed soon or Sonos feature?

Hey folks! At home I use a Sonos device to play Spotify through. I sometimes use the Sonos app to start playback and search songs. This all worked fine, but now the right search results aren’t coming up through Spotify on the Sonos app. An example: I’m looking for Can’t Pretend by Tom Odell on my Spotify app and I get these results:  Now I’ll try the same through Sonos: and when using the artist as well: Things I’ve tried so far:- Reinstalling the Sonos app- Restarting the Sonos speaker and my phone- Using my laptop to search this track- Factory resetting the Sonos system Hopefully you guys have some other troubleshooting steps or can confirm that this issue! Thanks for taking a look,Huib 🙂

Hi, I have quite a considerable Sonos system and have just added an Arc to a TV in a new room. I am loving the Arc but want to use two in-ceiling mounted speakers as the rear speakers. These are currently connected to a 1st gen Amp so I cannot access these as rear speakers as the old Amp only appears in the S1 app and not the S2, where the Arc currently sits alone.So, I want to upgrade the old Amp to the latest model so I can add this to S2 and then hopefully connect these as the rear speaker pair.Before I spend the money, just making sure that this setup will work. Both the Arc and the Amp are connected over Wifi although both could be connected to my LAN over Etherent if need be as they are both in proximity of a switch.Thanks in advance for any help.Regards,

Has anybody set up a Sonos Arc with a projector and who can help guide me please?Do I need a specific projector to be able to fulfil the Dolby Atmos capability?Providing I have a projector with x2 HDMI ports; I think I am correct to believe that I need the projector to have eArc capability from one of the HDMI ports. I’m looking to have sound from my Samsung Frame TV play through my existing Sonos network of speakers (a paired set of Play 1’s and a subwoofer that I’ve got connected through a Connect:Amp). If I get a Beam and have it connected to my TV - can I have it also ‘grouped’ with my existing ‘Family Room’ group (Play 1s + Sub)?

My router has a Primary Network and a Guest Network.  My Sonos system is on the Primary Network.  Is it possible to setup Sonos to be on BOTH my Primary and my Guest network?

Hi all,I’m currently running 2 sonos one’s and a sonos sub gen3. What I’m trying to do is understand the options for connecting my turntableFrom what I can found, the Sub is not compatible with the Port. Does this also hold true when only using the line-in of the Port?What other options would be available for adding a turntable into this setup? Do you need a Sonos 5 for this?

I have quite an open room with 20ft ceilings.  I was debating getting the Arc, but am a little concerned I won't get near the maximum use out of it.  If I put the bar beneath the TV or on the media cabinet there are shelves on the left and right blocking left/right facing speakers.  And the ceiling is so tall that I think the upward facing speakers wouldn't be useful.  Is it a terrible idea to consider putting the speaker above the TV with a slight angle down?  Or maybe the Arc just isn't the right idea for my room? Thanks!

I have several Sonos products, and have just purchased a Playbar. I have connected my Playbar to my TV, and have two Play:1 speakers in the room behind the couch.When I try to ‘Set Up Surrounds’ to my Playbar, it keeps asking me if I want to add my Sonos Amp, which is in use in another part of the house.What do I need to do to get the Playbar and Play:1s to work together.I have tried everything; resetting, powering down Sonos Amp, and reinstalling the Playbar, with no success. Any help is appreciated.

I have 3 speakers, two Play:5 gen2 and one Play:5 gen1 and have been using them with the Sonos S1 app. The gen2 speakers are placed in the same room and configured as a stereo pair.I have decided to “split” my system to allow the gen2 speakers to be controlled by the S2 app.So, following the instructions, I first removed the gen1 speaker from the system using the S1 controller, I then “upgraded the S1 app to S2 (all system settings should then stay as before), but when I started the S2 app the stereo pair showed as Vardagsrum (V+?) (translated = Livingroom (L+?) ) and only the left speaker was still connected and able to play sound.I have unplugged the gen1 speaker from power to avoid any interference.I first tried to add the lost speaker (S2 app on iPhone iOS 14.2 and Bluetooth) but the app was not able to detect the speaker. According to the instructions given by the app (when speaker cannot be found) the speaker has to be reset if it has been used/installed in another system before,

I’m setting up my 1st iPort XPress. I get it connected to my Wifi. The next step is “Choose your Sonos”. I get the error “No Sonos players found”. I can then switch over to my Sonos app and see all of my Sonos components.    Any ideas?
