Diagnostic: 1379120434This is part of a larger issue with Sonos Connect and Sonos Boost possibly canceling each other out, but maybe someone can teach me something. I have the Playbar wire connected to the router. There are (2) Play 1 Surrounds wirelessly connected to the Playbar. I have a Play 1: Kitchen + Play 5: Bedroom + Play 1:Other Bedroom connected wirelessly to the router (so I thought). I WOULD LIKE to have my Sonos Connect wire connected to the router, which it is now (see Diagnostic # above). Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. The Boost messes everything up so I unplugged that. I have rebooted, factory reset everything a hundred times to no avail. QUESTION: How come everything is still WM:0? Shouldn’t the Playbar and Connect be WM:1 since they are wire connected to the router?Thinking this is a router issue. Brand new router from Spectrum (Sagemcom - SAC2V2S). Everything started after I replaced the router.
My speaker is blown on my play 5 gen 2. Have had the speaker for just over 15 months. Had a chat conversation on the support site about it. Followed all the reset, hard reset, different services everything. Still sounds terrible. I sent in the video to the support. The response? You can give us $350 more dollars to buy a new one. Because you are 3 months out of warranty. That's a serious answer? It's mind boggling how incredibly awful that is to hear. Thanks to our glorious speaker that blows, you have to buy another one? So I'll be in $850 for a play 5 that lasted 15 months? I can't even fathom buying another speaker that might only last 15 months. My case number is 02254033
I just started using YouTube music and I am getting this error “YouTube Music: Unable to play the selected item.” It has happened twice so far, both times on a song that I uploaded (different songs). One time I was just sliding the progress meter to fast forward within the track. It hosed my Sonos AMP, which became unresposive - could not cause it to play anything from the controller. One time I had to reboot it, the other time I reset my controller and it came back.I am using the S1 controller on Windows 10. My system is on 11.2.2. I have not seen this behavior on Spotify or Google Play Music.Any advice?
I am running my turntable (audio-technica AT-LP120 USB) through a Sonos Connect to join my network but there is hardly any volume on any of my speakers (it is minimal at full volume). I have a Playbar, Playbase and Move. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be? I suspect it’s a setting as the sound is there, just very quiet. Thanks
Setting up Amp with two Sonos one as rear surround speakers. When trying to play music they are visible for a short while an then disappears Living room (?+?) appears instead of Living room (+R+L). No music playing in the rear speaker’s.
Hi there, I'm a long time Sonos user, however recently we've been expericing serious issues with audio skipping and stopping. There's no obvious correlation on source or media type, as it skips whether playing from Sonos app, YouTube music, Alexa and Google Home. Some times music will play completely fine, and other times it will skip after like 15-20 seconds. From a setup pov, I've got a mix of Sonos Play:3 and Symfonisk bookshelf speakers, all connected via WiFi. Home WiFi is a Ubiquiti Unifi network, with 2 AP's and a USG Pro gateway. Internet is an 80/20mbps FTTC service, which isn't heavily loaded. I've just generate a support diagnostics, reference is 1595664835I've checked for firmware updates etc, but all showing as upto date.Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Gavin
I know there’s plenty of threads and I’ve read them all, but none of my fixes have worked. Sound cutting in and out all of a sudden- have had the beam for 6 months and no issue until now. Diagnostic # 135279630. Looking for Sonos support to tell me what’s going on i did recently have some issues with my internet- could it be WiFi related?
All speakers are connected, but this morning none of the services are able to connect. Rebooted router and speakers and still getting error message.
Playbar & sub - audio works with TV, but playbar not appearing in Sonos app for music and can't add. I have unplugged multiple times, and I have also rebooted router, modem, etc. This has happened several times before, but usually unplugging it allows me to add it back on. I removed the sub and I can add that to another room, but not the Playbar room since that doesn’t show up. Diagnostic information 558295547
What is the delay, how does it work and how do you adjust it.
Anyone else having similar? “Cannot connect” type issues. App opens up but can only see a Symfonisk speaker, or tells me it can see the Sub but it’s not configured. The chat facility has no one available most of the time and ‘other means of contacting us’ is a dead link. How can the app have WiFi connect issues but quite happily sends diagnostics, the wifi is either there and accessible or not.
I'm having a problem connecting to my Sonos, through my iPhone. I've reset the wifi, reset the phone etc... and nothing. It started Monday night around 11 EST. still not connecting this am. Anyone else having a problem
I don’t seem to be getting a signal from te sub out on my sonos amp to my own sub. Anyone experiencing this!
I have an Apple TV 4K, a Sonos Arc, a sub gen 1 and two play 5s gen 3 and a Samsung smart tv with an arc connection but no e arc connection. I purchased a hd Fury Arcana to get Dolby Atmos from the Apple TV. The Arcana is connected to the Apple TV, the outputs from the arcana go to in the case of the arc connection the Sonos Arc and in the case of the HMI connection to the Samsung TV. For some reason I get no sound out of the play 5s (the rear speakers on the home theatre set up) either from the tv or for music - any suggestions as to why this might be?
I have two rooms each setup with playbar+sub+a pair of Sonos Play 1. For the first 5-10secs of playing a song there is significant crackling then it settles down to play normally. Same happens when I change songs. No issue with tv audio though. Exact same problem in both rooms. Any thoughts, suggestions for how I can eradicate this?
I am trying to add a new Sonos one. Never had a problem before but now my App has a message saying "Sonos needs Location access to search for nearby products". Underneath there is a button saying “Allow Location access” but when I tap it nothing happens. There is another button saying “more information”, and when I click on that it seems to suggest it is something from IOS13 onwards about location access. The message helpfully provides the steps to do sort this out, but when I go to IOS settings, there is no option there for location. Just Bluetooth, Local Network, Siri, notifications Background app refresh and mobile data. When I go to privacy and location services in IOS settings, Sonos does not appear in the list so I do not seem to have any way of providing location access and therefore adding the speaker. I have tried resetting the App and deleting it and re-installing but always get to the same screen.Any help on how to sort this would be gratefully appreciated so that I ca
This has been the most promising yet most disappointing piece of electronica I’ve ever owned. Wondering whether my 3 lb drilling hammer would suffice or if I should borrow a larger sledgehammer to rid myself of this brand forever? Thx!
SiriusXM is the ONLY streaming service that is not working on my Sonos. I have rebooted my Sonos, uninstalled and reinstalled the SiriusXM channel within Sonos app, logged in and out of my SiriusXM online account, verified password is correct, etc. Help, please!
Ok, I’ve got two play1’s, two play 3’s and a sub.rarely had problems until recently. Now, I have all kinds. In the rare occasions it did connected it never lasts for more than a week before going offline again. Now, I can’t get it back at all.Neither the s1 nor s2 app can find my system, despite all the speakers showing up as connected to my network.it constantly says it can’t find my system. I’ve tried everything a thousand times.Unplugging, resetting app, checking router, plugging ethernet into router, deleting and redownloading app....on and on and on...nothing works.im pretty annoyed and slightly pissed that I have an expensive waste of a system sitting here. anyone with any ideas?
How is it possible to endlessly play a fixed Spotify playlist (or even a Sonos playlist) while having the songs on repeat and shuffle. Activating the “repeat” function worked only for some time but at one point the playlist stops playing. Is it because “repeat” function means that the whole playlist will play only 2 times?
I’m using 2x symfonisk speakers setup as stereo pair as AirPlay target for my AppleTV. I was planing to use them as rear speakers in 5.1 setup down the line but current issues don’t inspire trust (yes I’m aware that 5.1 settup is different to this).Everything works fine TILL I pause the video for more then 10-15 seconds, after that audio doesn’t come back upon resuming. I need to deselect them as audio output and select them again to get the audio back. This is extremely annoying. From what I can google, I’m not the only one with this kind of issue. I’ve tried power cycling everything, connecting the speakers with cable, everything’s updated to latest version. Only workaround I read about is playing an “empty” audio stream in the background. Is there any fix for this issue?
I am trying to set up a Sonos Amp so that we can connect it to some Legacy speaker system in the waiting room of a healthcare facility. We can’t use the Corporate Wi-Fi because of HIPAA, and we can’t use the Guest Wifi because there is a disclaimer that must be accepted. So I had the network guys create a seperate SSID that uses a cable connection, has no disclaimer, and can be seen from the AMP. I connect my Phone to the new SSID, I run through the setup with the AMP, and it fails on the Wi-Fi. I have tried it 100 times. I even took the Sonos home and connected t to my home Wifi to make sure ot worked. It did. I have reset this Sonos over and over for weeks. Anyone have any ideas? There was a moment when I was able to run through the install and it looked like it was connected, but it dropped connection and never worked again.
since I have refreshed my iphone i can not connect to my sonos s1 neither my macbook air, tried to pull out all the cable and wire from the router and from the s1 as well, but still can not connect. any help pls?thx
Hi strange issue, anytime I use Alexa to play music through the Sonos Play 1 (1st gen.) she plays amazon music, having not done that before. We have Apple and Spotify and always used Spotify just fine. I’ve checked and deleted/reinstalled the sonos app, deleted the skill etc. but nothing obvious to see why she’s using amazon now all of a sudden having not been asked to or having done so before… any one else have this issue?
I have a pair of sonos five and iphone xs. Both are updated to the latest version. My problem is that sonos occasionally disappears from air play. Strangely, while it disappears I can still play music from sonos app (but cannot with apple music app as it is not on air play)Please help with this. Thank you in advance.
