I just put in a note order for the new roamed speaker. got absolutely no verification or order number yet bank was asked to verify to Sonia. many odyssey else having this problem?

I have two Beam units connected to Two LG OS TVs  they have worked faultlessly for two years connected to the HDMI(ARC) inputs alongside the HDMI input from a SKY+ box then along came Sonos 2. I have spent the last 3 weeks using every combination of set up routine reading all the forums and some common sense and have ended up using the Optical adapter which is acceptable up to a point and that point is... why should I have too ?,What have the Sonos engineers changed that has caused this?  The System will work with the Beam in the ARC  socket completely without fault with the TV recieving terrestial TV signals from the antenna socket and no other HDMI connection used.Next stage ..as soon as you switch to HDMI 1 the sound either mutes or defaults to internal speakersEmtering the TV setup and selecting HDMI(ARC) out has no effect as the beam looses the conection, open the APP and try to re connect the unit has no effect as it contunually reports no  connecti

I must say, the smallest of changes make all the difference!  For me, using an older iPad for Trueplay, pointing the mic towards the arc when tuning for 2nd part and then following Peter Pees advice on angling the arc (to achieve better atmos) made huge differences in the sound, night and day really.  Highly recommend Peter pee videos if you’re not getting the right sound!

Hi. I have just moved house and seriously thinking of extending my current two play3s into a house wide setup with two 5s in the lounge, the 3s in the dining room and 1s in the kitchen and bedroom. Trying to ascertain if I could gain improvement to music quality by using a dedicated streamer/amp/DAC of some description rather than using my pc?If you could offer advice that would be appreciated. Cheers. 

Could anyone help me please.In December I placed an order for a set of Sonos Five, 1 beam, 1 boost, and 6 Sonos Move.They sent me everything but the six Sonos Move, saying there were credit card problems and they couldn't process my payment and that my order had been canceled.They asked me to please place a new order. On January 21 I placed a new order for 6 Sonos Move and they said  would be  deliver it by the end of February.Now I see that both orders are "processing" meaning they did not cancel the first purchase. I only need six and not 12 Sonos Move and I have no idea when they will ship the six I need.  can someone help me to see what i have to do?

I’ve recently ordered a new Sonos setup (ARC + Sub + Amp (to drive existing Sonance in ceilings).   I’m deciding between the LG CX and Sony A8H for my new display. I’m interested in hearing about any experience with these 2 sets and the Arc for home theater, good, bad or otherwise.   I will be using my display to switch everything to the Arc and Sonos setup via eArc. The primary inputs will be from the native apps on the TV, AppleTV 4K and Xfinity 4K box.   Any known issues passing Atmos and sound in general via eArc? I have read some about lip sync issues and drop outs with the CX. I’m not sure if these are isolated issues. I’ve read very little about A8H experiences with the ARC.   TIA!

My copy of the iOS iPad app no longer has a “Playlists” category on the My Sonos screen. Is anybody else having that issue? I can’t figure out how to fix it. My playlists are still showing up in the iPhone app, and on iPad I can still add songs to my playlists. I just can’t access them.Note that these are not imported playlists. There were created via the Sonos iPad app.

Hi, I am interested in purchasing a Sonos Move to have as a second Bluetooth speaker in my home. I already own an Anker Soundcore 2. What I am wondering is, will I be able to play an audiobook for my son (from my phone) on the Anker bluetooth speaker while simultaneously playing music for myself in the next room on the Sonos Move (also from my phone)? Thanks!

Hello, I have a Samsung Q90T television and a Sonos Arc soundbar. I can use Dolby Atmos with Netflix and Vudu, but only 5.1 Audio with Disney+, Apple or Amazon Prime. Are those apps (Disney+, Apple or Amazon Prime) not compatible with one of or both of my tv/soundbar? Does Samsung not support Atmos through them? Thanks in advance.

I’ve been scratching my head for some time now. Let me explain.I got my Arc and Sub g3 earlier this week, paired them with my two One SL’s. No issues at all. Everything smooth and it sounds really great.The arc is connected to my Sony XH95 with the Hdmi cable that came with the arc. And, this is the interesting thing, both Amazon Prime and Apple TV+ is working perfect and i get amazing Dolby Atmos sound with the built in apps in my Sony tv.But the built in Disney+ app is only showing Dolby digital 5.1. I have checked that everything is up and running with the latest downloads/firmware and whatnot, i have searched the worlds widest web for answers and tried some different things like resetting the tv, uninstalled Disney+, pulled all the cables out and put them back in again.Amazon Prime and Appletv+ is still giving me Dolby Atmos. But Disney+ is not.I am sort out of ideas here. Anyone else here with the same issue that have any tips or tricks down t

Hello all, My current setup is as follows: Samsung Q60 82” (2020)Sonos ArcSonos SubSonos Amp powering 2 in ceiling rear speakers The TV has eARC, everything is hardwired via Ethernet, my cables are all compatible. Largely this setup handles Atmos sound but falters 2 or 3 times per show and or movie. Rear in ceiling speakers will cut out, come on then cut out, or not process some sounds accurately. Sounds that shouldn’t even come from the rear speakers will play through them. I’ve tested Netflix, Disney and 4K UHD disc from my Xbox One X. Some scenes the audio drops all together for a second or two and comes back. I have called support directly and sent many logs but have yet to resolve the issue. The issues are largely reproducible. It’s important to note, outside of this everything works flawlessly. Music, other audio formats, as soon as I change the settings to any other 5.1 or surround sound

I just recently got my Sonos Arc to complete my setup. My current Setup is a wall mounted Sony A9G ,Sonos 1 (2x), Gen 3 Sub and Sonos Arc.I tried to google what streaming services support Arc so i can see what this Sonos Arc can really do. I found some movies on (Netflix, Disney Plus) but I don’t see “Dolby Atmos” on my app. So maybe i’m doing something wrong? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.  From some vids I found in YT I “should” be seeing “dobly atmos’ in my app. 

Hi, I know that a lot of folks have been asking about this so I apologize for adding to the chorus but I’m trying to set up a Beam on a TV that doesn’t have HDMI ARC or an optical output. I’ve read a few different posts and seen a few different solutions so I’m hoping to get some clarity. I’ve seen some folks recommend an HDMI switch device like the Monoprice. I’ve seen other folks recommend a coax to optical cable. Attached are pictures of what I’m working with for my TV. Pictures include a picture of what my TV has for audio outs and another picture of the audio outs as it is currently set up (currently have a cable box going into the tv as well as an Apple TV). For whatever it’s worth my TV is a RCA 42pa30rq. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks! Nick

Does anyone know if the Sonos Roam will have mounting accessories for a bicycle?  Or do you know if the Roam would fit in a standard water bottle cage on a bike?Handlebar space is difficult with cables, lights, computers, etc., but a light weight carrier that fits around the Roam then drop into a water bottle cage would be so cool!  Not sure Roam is small enough.Any way, I’m a little bumped it won’t ship for more than a month, but I guess Roam isn’t built in a day.

Hi there, never done this before but here we go.I’ve got my play ones, awesome.I am wanting to make up a system for my TV.I love the Fives and would love them in stereo for my TV(tv does not have line out).I was thinking of having a beam as the middle man between the tv and the fives.(The beam essentially acting as a center speaker). With the fives either side of the beam.Is this possible?

Is it just me that wants to sit down and listen to music without all the annoying nag screens for S2 updates?  STOP IT     

So is there no way to turn off the nag screen to update to S2 in S1?It’s filling out like 1/3 of the screen, it’s pathetic.I thought the whole idea with S1 was to branch off us oldtimers who are not interested in going along with the new Sonos direction. 

Look guys, I really like my sonos system, I've got speakers all over the house... They're all older S1 compatible components. They all work and I'm happy with the system as it is right now. I don't have plans to spend a lot of money to replace equipment that is functioning so would you please just stop constantly trying to get me to switch to S2?This incesante encouragement is an annoyance and is doing the opposite of convincing me to buy more Sonos equipment. It's a major turn off.Please, do me and you a favor and please just stop trying to convince me that I need to get rid of functioning equipment. Stop the S2 upgrade messages and banners, please!

Hello I have Philips PUS8503, made in 2018 + Sonos ARC soundbar connected via HDMI arc to the TV.Also i have Ausus ROG laptop with full desktop edition Nvidia RTX 2060 in it. My question is, how do i properly connect my LAPTOP to TV, so that LAPTOP gives ATMOS sound TO TV and THEN TO SONOS ARC? The main problem is that laptop and Sonos ARC has 1HDMI port, so if i conncet arc directly to PC there is no another HDMI port on laptop to conect it to the tv. Only option how i see it working is: Both- sonos arc and laptop plugged in TV ARC ports (HDMI 1 for Sonos and HDMI 2 for laptop), but when i tried to play Mandalorian episode DD+ atmos codec from my laptop, sonos app just showed simple 5.1 format. All 3 components of this problem supports ATMOS CODECS ( RTX even supports ATMOS TRUE HD).

The r/Sonos community on Reddit (full of Sonos enthusiasts I imagine, so not random people on the street) recently hosted a poll:https://www.reddit.com/r/sonos/comments/lnb6pv/which_sonos_product_would_you_really_like/At the time when I took this snapshot, 224 of 373 respondents (~60%) voted for a mini Sub or a “better” app as the next product they’d like to see Sonos launch.Now, I live in an apartment, and I’d love a smaller sub (at a more palatable price point too). I understand the acoustic durids at Sonos know a thing or two sound design and don’t want to build a “mini Sub”, but I think this topic does merit some discussion - especially given the clear community feedback! 

As many posters have note, EQ and Balance are important controls to access yet they are buried in the menu structure. Since EQ and Balance vary by room, I suggest adding a link to the volume popup:Easy EQ Access MockupIdeally clicking on the EQ button would then add the EQ/Balance controls to the same popup, under the EQ button line.  

I’d like to buy a sub and place it under my sofa (my wife wants it hidden) but I’ve measured and while it will fit, it will be pressed up against the fabric of the bottom of the sofa. There will be no air between the sub and the furniture or floor.Can anyone inform if this would negatively impact the quality of the sound I’d get?

As per the title. When away from WiFi and in Bluetooth mode, can you still use the Sonos app to control/play music to a Roam for access to Sonos playlists, favourites etc?
