Hi everyone, please take my thanks in advance for any help you can offer.I’ve been wanting to get myself a Sonos system for the LONGEST time, and last year was finally able to get hold of a ‘Beam’ for downstairs and a ‘One’ for upstairs. Loving the system, I saved up and got hold of two ‘One SL’s yesterday to try and get a surround setup with the Beam downstairs. However something doesn’t seem to be working with the surround One SLs and I’d really appreciate your help. I’ve tried doing some googling but haven’t yet found a solution. I apologise in advance for the wall of text but hopefully this helps save a lot of back-and-forth. Hello everyone,for the past few months I’ve been successfully using my Symfonisk Lamp as an Airplay speaker. But this month the Symfonisk just disappeared from airplay and I can’t seem to get it back in there. I’ve both restarted and resetted the device and the router but nothing seems to work. I can play music via Spotify connect and can play audiobooks via the audible connector in the Sonos app but airplay is essentially gone. I also cannot add the speaker to my HomeKit as it can’t be found there as well.I have also tried connecting it via Lan Cable but that doesn’t solve the issue.What can I do to make it work again? I’m using an IPhone 12 and IPad Pro.

Hello,I have a Sonos Amp + 2x BW703 as LR front speakers + BW ASW608 Sub + 2x Play:3s as surround speakers.Can I replace my 2x Play:3s with Gen 2 Connect:Amp with 2 non Sonos speakers as surround.If yes, should I follow the old instructions saying that I should connect both the Amp (it is already connected) and the Connect:Amp, and use the “http://playbarIP:1400/wiredsat.htm” procedure like connecting to a Playbar?Thanks for your responses.

 I’ve got a Sonos beam connected to my tv, with two S2’s and a Sonos sub. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and saw an article saying to check that it is playing in 5.1. I’ve checked and realised my tv was playing in PCM rather than Dolby Digital.I’ve set out my set up below:Samsung TV model UE42F5000Amazon 4K Fire TV Stick Sonos BeamSonos S2 x 2Sonos Sub My Sonos beam is connected to the TV via Dolby digital output, as this TV does not have a HDMI ARC. The fire tv stick is connected in HDMI 1.Everything else is set up and my TV was working fine, but it was using PCM instead of Dolby Digital.I went to change my tv to DD from PCM but it was greyed out, until I then went on the TV stick settings and changed the settings under Audio > Surround Sound and selected Always Dolby Digital. On my TV settings I clicked menu, then sound, checked my speaker settings are on external and then went to Additio

I have DALI Rubicon 2C wireless speakers. I bought a PORT so I could add them to my existing Sonos system. The connection to the speakers is intermittent - typically it drops after a couple of minutes.Are these speakers incompatable (they work fine with everything else!) Thanks

Has anyone noticed a sound quality difference when listening to Spotify started directly from the Spotify app vs from the Sonos app.   The message “Started from Spotify” will appear in the System section of the Sonos App.

I know there are a few older threads here suggesting Sonos users can utilize the Lutron Caseta Pico Audio Remote to control volume, play/pause, next/favourites - but I found through other forums (probably Lutron ones) that the standard Pico remote is essentially identical to the Audio remote, except for labeling, and works perfectly well for controlling Sonos once paired and setup. The Standard Pico remote here in Canada will cost about $23 vs. $50 or more for the Audio remote (Amazon pricing).  I used my label maker to create custom audio icon labels (see pic) to mimic the function of the Audio remote, but this isn’t strictly necessary.  It’s a shame that Lutron charges such a high premium for the Audio labeling but I guess it is a niche market.  They both come in black as well, which I would have preferred - however this again is more than twice the price.  The pedestals are $13 up here and highly recommended...they have a nice weight and grippy base.  Yes you must have a L

I have a Sonos Zp90 player that has worked fine until recently with external speakers (Audioengine).  Nothing new changed.  It just plays intermittently, and is so incredibly annoying.    Anyone else experiencing it?   I think if I ask Sonos they’re just going to try to get me to upgrade to a better system.   I like my speakers just fine and I’d like to hang on to them.   Does anyone know how to fix this?  Thanks in advance!

Recently purchased a Sonos Move as “fill” for outdoors to supplement the patio speakers.Over time (30 min plus) I notice that the Sonos gets out of sync (behind).  The longer the more behind.Other wireless speakers (apple AX attached to a McIntosh amp and my Denon AVR) don’t fall behind.Suggestions?Thanks 

How soon will the black Arc be back in stock?

Hi, I recently just got my Sonos Arc and want to add couple speakers in the rear for surround. I like the look of those Ikea Bookshelf Symfonisk speakers and was wondering if I am able to get two of those bookshelf speakers and pair them together with the Sonos Arc to create Surround Sound??  I have seen a lot of articles regarding this matter with the original playbar and the beam but I can’t seem to find the answer with the new Sonos Arc.  thank you! 

Hi Im new to Sonos and have just purchased a Sonos arc and have a LG OLED tv and I’m thinking about getting two symfonisk speaks to setup as surrounds.  I can’t find out if this will work? Can anyone confirm? Or do I have to get two Sonos sl’s also would the SL’s sound better?   thanks

So I'm not special or anything lol, just wanted to put out there what would make me buy more Sonos.  Seems a new product is on the way, and some recent new functionality.  None of which interests me in the least.  At least, in one case, without my top wishlist item. Btw my system = 2 Arc, 2 Fives, 1 gen 3 Sub, 8 One SLs. 1) 7.1 surround. Not even close to any other "want".  Here's the benefit for Sonos.  I but 2 more Ones for my main theater setup, (already have 5.1 with the Arc and Ones) and at that point more likely than not I buy a second sub since it is now supported.  (But ZERO chance I buy a second sub without 7.1) In addition, for my second theatre setup - another Arc, 2 more Ones (have a couple down there but they can be moved elsewhere should I go with a different brand for that setup - which won't happen if, well there's that pesky 7.1 again).   Add a sub, or even two and another Arc.  So there's another 3k.2)  DTS.  I know, never

I generally listen to Pandora. 2 deficiencies in the Sonos App have led me to abandon it in favor of Airplay:Inability to play on my Mac speakers (which is nuts!)  Lack of Thumbs up/down support for Pandora on Apple Watch “lyd” app.

Whilst watching Netflix via the TV app on my Panasonic Gz1000U oled, the sound randomly crackles and skips. Sometimes I can watch it perfectly for hours, then it starts again. It’s only via the Tv app, no other sources produce this. I just want to know if anyone else experiences this or if it is a TV issue. Diagnostic 494977665

Hi allHoping someone might have a suggestion here as I’m losing my mind on this one.I’ve had a Playbar for many years with no issues.  About 6 months ago we added a Samsung Q950 TV and wall mounted both TV and Playbar.  Since then both TV and Playbar have worked fine - no issues - with the TV’s ‘smart’ remote happily controlling the Sonos volume.  The Playbar is connected by optical, which I believe is the only option.  The TV displays Sonos/Optical and an animated +/- as volume on the Playbar changes.  All good.A few days ago, the smart remote suddenly stopped controlling the Playbar volume.  I’ve tried many things to restore it:Power cycle the TV Power cycle the Playbar Factory reset the TV and reconfigured Checked for TV firmware updates that might have changed functionality - none recently Confirmed nothing is blocking either the IR window on Playbar or IR emitter on TV Confirmed I can still control th

Hellomy set up is a beam soundbar and 2 Sonos one speakers that have set  as surrounds in my tv roomI have added everything to my tv room in the app which I assume is correct.I am slightly confused about the ungroup on auto play setting.I have the tv auto play setting to on which enables the sound to come out of the Sonos speakers when I turn the tv on but not sure what setting to use on the ungroup option.all speakers are in one room which is called tv room .any advice would be very helpful.thanks   

I am thinking of migrating from my marantz 1610 receiver + Dali oberon 1 speakers to a sonos solution for the living room. I do not intend to get the sub as I live in an apartment and I like to avoid disturbing neighbours. I may add two sonos ones for surround but I am going to start simple. Hi all,  I’ve got a playbar, sub (gen 2), and two play:1’s as the rear surrounds in my downstairs family room. I have a 3rd party sub (Hsu Research VTF-2) that I haven’t used in ages since I “upgraded” to a sonos system. I’ve since then gotten an arc in my upstairs entertainment area. I’m thinking of either 1) adding the 3rd party sub to the arc, or 2) moving the sub to pair with the arc and adding the 3rd party sub to the playbar/play:1 combo. Anybody with experience doing this? What equipment would I need? Amp? Connect? I had thought about selling the 3rd party sub but figured that I could make use of it in one of the two rooms! Thanks in advance for any tips or advice!

Hi, I am thinking of buying a beam 5.1 surround set (beam, 2x one sl and sub) for my TV and general music. If I set this up to all come on with my tv, can I use a voice command to play music through this without the tv?Then if possible, how difficult is it to play music with the beam off?And how difficult is it to configure the two one sl’s to play loud music rather than background surround sound? Thank you.
