Hi, I recently just got my Sonos Arc and want to add couple speakers in the rear for surround. I like the look of those Ikea Bookshelf Symfonisk speakers and was wondering if I am able to get two of those bookshelf speakers and pair them together with the Sonos Arc to create Surround Sound??

I have seen a lot of articles regarding this matter with the original playbar and the beam but I can’t seem to find the answer with the new Sonos Arc.

thank you!

Yes, you can use the idea speakers as rear surround with the Arc.

amazing, thank you. do you think they sound just as good as if i was to pair a Sonos one SL with it as surround? Just wondering because they are so much cheaper.

The general consensus is yes. You don’t need a lot for surround speakers.  I personally have only heard them as stand only music speakers and didn’t care for it too much, and don’t care for the look of them personally.
