Hello,

I have a Sonos Amp + 2x BW703 as LR front speakers + BW ASW608 Sub + 2x Play:3s as surround speakers.

Can I replace my 2x Play:3s with Gen 2 Connect:Amp with 2 non Sonos speakers as surround.

If yes, should I follow the old instructions saying that I should connect both the Amp (it is already connected) and the Connect:Amp, and use the “http://playbarIP:1400/wiredsat.htm” procedure like connecting to a Playbar?

Thanks for your responses.

Hi @Esat

Yes, you can.

As you say, you’ll need to connect both the Amp and Connect:Amp to ethernet. You can then add the Connect:Amp as surrounds for the Amp’s room from the app - no need for logging into the player’s page. Full details are on our Set up Connect:Amp as surround speakers page.
