Bonjour j’ai un blu-ray UBP x800 Sony et ma beam ou playbar le lis pas le DTS il le prend en Stereo pourtant j’ai bien mes dernier mise a jour. 

I have a Sonos playbar and Sonos 5 speakers. I only hear the playbar and not the speakers. I have the volume all the way for the speakers. What do I need to do to hear the speakers? 

I changed the name of the PC hosting my Sonos controller and music collection.When I try to play a track I get the message:"Sonos unable to play <track-name> cannot connect to <serer-name> because the server cannot be found" How do I fix this without reverting to the name change?

I always hoping the volume level can show with numbers on the slide bar and I could find that it's now available on IOS Sonos App... and can also access to EQ settings very easily. But why this is not available for Android Sonos App? I believe it won't be that difficult? Please help to do this asap, thanks!

The IOS 15.3.1 update has made Sonos S2 app not work well.  It is tough and locks.  Does anyone have this problem? How to fix it?

I saw a related post on this topic but it seemed to be a phone specific issue (i.e. Google Pixel).  I’m using iOS devices and am experiencing strange behavior.  I connected my Amazon Firestick to the Move via Bluetooth and it works great.  But the Move shows up in the Sonos App as Offline.  So I can’t do anything via the app - see battery %, change the volume, connect with other speakers, etc.  It’s appears to be a “dumb” BT speaker that I have to operate manually using the device buttons on the Move to change volume.   Out of curiosity, I connected my Roam to the Firestick via bluetooth and had a completely different experience.  It does not show as Offline in the Sonos app but rather a completely functional Sonos speaker.  I can see the battery level, control the volume, group the Roam with other speakers in my network, etc. - which is awesome.  See below for full functionally pics in the Sonos App when connected via Bluetooth.  

Why is Sonos not able to address all the stuttering issues? Stutter started on my Sonos a few months ago. It never happened before. Suddenly it happens intermittently in all movies. Some times it’s very bad sometimes it’s for brief periods.  i thought it was the streaming on my LGTV. On chance I started reading in Sonos and realized that there seems to be no resolution on why it happens just that people have to submit their diagnostics.  So what exactly causes these stuttering issues?

Hi,I want to have this below setup Sonos ARC as a center speakersonos amp connected to Right and Left speaker Sonos SubSonos Symphony photo frames as left and right surround speaker The only possible solution suggested as of now is have Sonos Arc connected with Sonos sub and Sonos Symphony photo frames as left and right surround speaker as a home theater setup and when the TV start , I can group Sonos AMP with left and right speakers.  but what I am looking is to have all these connected through wired connection like Sonos Arc and AMP connected through wire as a whole system and not wirelessly two different group.  I have tried HDMI extractor device but did not work. No sound coming out of either ARC or AMP so that’s option is no go.  Any advise/ suggestions will be appreciated.  Thanks , 

I have a single Sonos Five in some builtin shelves in my living room right now, and it sounds great. I would like to get a Sonos Beam gen 2 for the TV in the living room also. I DON’T want to use the Five for the TV. We already have another TV in a game room with ARC, Sub, and One SL surrounds.However, I would like to use the Beam and the single Five for music. I listen to music in my living room way more than watch TV in that space.How does adding the Beam to my living room TV add to music experience? Would I need 2 separate “rooms” on the app for the Beam and Five since I'm not going to use the Five when I watch TV?The other more expensive option was to go all out and get 4 Sonance in ceiling speakers with an amp and Beam. Then find another spot for the Five. Not really going to happen at this point.

Hi all,Everything was working fine up to until recently when my setup was based on an old Panasonic TV (which had a HDMI ARC) where I was getting Atmos on Disney+ (had to change scaling in Arcana), Netflix, Apple TV+ and Tidal. But after my TV broke down and I swapped it out for a projector (PA503XE - https://www.viewsonic.com/ap/products/projectors/PA503XE) I have only been able to get Stereo PCM 2.0 now. I consulted the Hdfury discord channel and the conclusion was to get an Apple TV4K. I have also tried playing around with the scaler settings and turning off and unplugging all the devices but it did not seem to help. Are there any other suggestions as to what might be the problem? Maybe the display? Thank you.

I have a pretty elaborate dj setup that I use a lot in my office and my wife is often doing art in her studio. She sometimes wants to listen to what I am playing but they are on opposite sides of the house. Do I just need to get a Sonos Amp or Port to play my dj set through the Sonos system?I am not concerned about delay or anything like that since I won't be using any Sonos speakers near me.Thanks to anyone that takes the time to answer.

I see that a few people have asked when Sonos will around to compiling their macOS desktop app for Apple Silicon, and the answer given is that Sonos doesn’t talk about forthcoming software releases, but it’s probably not a high priority.Sure, that’s fine. Who would I be to question their engineering priorities? But, a really good option for people who want an Apple Silicon native app would be to simply run the S2 iOS app in macOS. All you would have to do is open the App Store in macOS and navigate to your account, and the “iPhone & iPad Apps” tab. Only the Sonos S2 doesn’t show up, even though it’s affiliated with the Apple ID that’s logged in.iOS apps will show up in the App Store on macOS unless the developer specifically disallows them from doing so. There’s no excuse about engineering resources — this is literally flipping a switch to turn something off. Even if you use a workaround and extract the Sonos S2 program itself (as an IPA file), you’ll get an error

I'm on my second Sonos Beam, which is being used with two Ones and a Sub for a home theatre set up.  The audio distorts frequently across all sources. Seems to happen with speech and music, at higher pitches. Volume has never been loud.  I sold my previous Beam on eBay because of this fault and it being out of the 1 year warranty but this one (under 2 years old) doing it again is really annoying me and causing arguments between me and my partner (she doesn't like me spending cash on gadgets which then break!) I've seen loads of posts about this on the Sonos community, don't understand how this speaker is so badly made?!  I have a video of the problem, but my diagnostics number is 1019938832  PLEASE can someone help?! Will Sonos potentially replace this out of warranty if it's clearly a common fault?! 

Hey guys, I’m m brand new here just got a SONOS Beam Gen 2. First i got the Harman Kardon Multibeam but i was so disappointed with the sound so i decided to give Beam a try and its uncomparable difference (only the pain of setting up the Google assistant which has to work through Assistant app, which is not available in my country, instead of Google home app like every other device), I’m simply loving the sound. Of course my next decision is about the surround sound. I live in an apartment so sub is out of question if I don’t want my neighbors to murder me. I’m now torn between SONOS One Sl or cheaper IKEA Symfonisk… Is the extra 200$ on pair (yeah, in my country is Symfonisk pricy 135$) worth the difference? Or should i go for the more expensive Symfonisk frame? I would love your thoughts because I am just confused. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hello,Every time i start sonos to listen to the radio for example, i get a barage of adverts. I don’t recall asking sonos to do this, but i’d like it to stop.Anyone know how to turn this off?D

Hi,I wonder if my wished setup is viable. it should look like this: Denon AVR-X4100W receiver with 2 B&W front speakers + SONOS ARC (as a central front speaker) and 2 IKEA Symfonisk as back surround speakers + SONOS subwoofer 3 genI own all of these elements today. What I am trying to do is to use all the best elements I have of 2 currently separate setups. It might feel strange, but it’s part of a “re-use with low cost” approach..I guess you could say that I have a basic starting point with a receiver and 2 “normal non-wifi speakers” and would like to add 4 SONOS components: ARC, subwoofer and 2 Symfonisks. but to secure they will actually work as a 5.1 system Any help would be deeply appreciated 

am having an “echo” sound coming from my Sonos One speakers that are in surround sound mode with my sound bar. I have them grouped and they have been this way for a long time, Can someone help me, please?!?!

Hello. I have a Sony A80J tv paired with a playbar plus two in ceiling rear speakers powered by a Sonos amp connect. I cannot get 5.1 audio from the native HBO Max app despite the content showing that 5.1 audio is available. I receive 5.1 without a problem with other native apps (Netflix, Apple TV+). I contacted Sony and they said there are no known compatibility issues and that I should be getting 5.1, particularly if I’m getting it on the other apps. We went through a series of troubleshooting efforts to no avail — even tried a factory reset.  Has anyone else experienced a similar issue, if so, any known remedies? My only remaining option is to swap the optical audio cable though I suspect this won’t work since I haven’t had a problem getting 5.1 from the other apps, though it’s about the only thing I haven’t tried. Any other suggestions? (Aside from getting an Arc) 

Hi all, I’ve been super into the sonos ecosystem and I’ve been getting my dad into the space. He just bought the sonos arc and I have a few questions about integrating it into his older 5.1 Sony system.  old systemsony Av receiver2 mounted (passive) rear surrounds connected to receiverMounted left right and center (passive) speakers that the arc should be able to replacean active Sony subwooferhowever looking through this forum it seems like our optimal setup of keeping the existing rear surrounds and subwoofer is not very feasible. Do we need to buy an amp to make this setup work? Is there something else that people recommend because I’m sure others have been in this situation. We are really interested in Dolby atmos and haven’t really experienced it before. Would we lose out on atmos keeping aspects of the old surround system? Would the subwoofer be able to connect to the arc or do we need to buy a sonos one? Should we just try to re

I am wanting to setup my surround sound with two Amps, one for front and one for rear. I also have a third party sub that I was hoping to use with the Amps. My questions are:Is this possible? Right now I have it setup, but the sub is not working. If so, does the sub have to be connected to the Amp driving the front channel speakers? Right now, my sub is wired where the rear amp is, not where the front is located.

I currently have the Sonos Arc hooked up to my TV and I would like to add two additional Sonos One SL to have surround sound system. I do also have Sonos Amp present in the house for outdoor speakers, but that’s not related to the TV room set up I am trying to accomplish. When clicking on the Arc within the Sonos app and pressing surround sound, the only option that comes up is to pair it to the Amp.  How do I just connect the two Sonos One SL which I current have paired to gather to the Arc to play the TV? I have also created a group but that only works for music and still more manual that I thought it should be. I play music, it first plays on the two that are paired and then I press the group I created and all three speakers play together.  

I just took advantage of the 30% Upgrade for my old Gen 1 Sonos:Connect and purchased the Sonos Port.  It says I have a backorder till March which is fine. Can I continue to use my current Connect until I get the Port, or do I need to send it in before I get the new one?

The one thing missing from my Sonos world is the ability to listen to my stuff on headphones. Has anybody got experience of using Port + audiophile headphone amp + headphones? Any recommendations? I listen mostly to music stored on my NAS, not so much streamed. Or would I be better looking for a different (ie non-Sonos) solution, e.g. an audiophile DAC + headphones? 

I have a crappy turntable with a preamp connected to a Sonos Port that works fine in streaming vinyl to my Sonos system.It’s functional but sounds terrible and I’d like to upgrade to a good turntable.The one I am looking at does not have a preamp so that means I need a Sonos Amp correct?I guess my question is do I need the Amp AND the Port?Or does the Sonos Amp have the same functionality as the Port, i.e. can stream to my Sonos system, but with a preamp built in?Thanks!

Hello, I have my 5.1 setup as follows, ARC via HDMI to EARC output on TV using passthrough in TV settings & 1 Gen 2 sub and 2 Play’s one’s in my system.   Am I getting full Atmos using the Play 1’s since they are so old or should I get the newer One’s or One SL’s?
