Using Google assistant my Sonos speakers are all recognised, but I always have to give the device name - it simply doesn't work unless I use a device name.Any ideas please?

Something has changed recently, I can still play music on my So is surround system off the internet, but can no longer connect to the tv, no ability to adjust sound with tv at all, it’s like it is not connected. Hello everyone. I’m having an issue with my Sonos Roam. Since yesterday, the Roam is no longer charging when put on its own - original - wireless charger, with the original Sonos plug. There are no leds turning on. I tried with a USB-C cable and, in this case, I can see the solid orange led that indicates the battery is charging. The problem is that the led stays solid orange forever. I can’t turn the Roam on, no way to do it. If I plug off the cable, it turns off, but there’s no way to turn on the speaker itself again.I never see flashing orange light, neither white one. Only solid orange when the speaker is plugged in with the USB-C cable. I really don’t know what to do, do you have an idea?

WXKW is listed on radio.com and tunein. Neither will play.  I ran diagnostics and sent to Sonos.  Here is the number 151565757.Please help. 

Hi I have this problem that only 1 of the 2 Play:1's actually plays music. In the beginning it was only the left one that worked. Now the music switches from one speaker to the other. Sometimes both of them play. They both have their white LED lights showing and I can see both speakers in the app. I have had them for 1.5 year, but this problem started only a month ago. They are connected by WiFi and are wall mounted above the bar. I only use them to play Spotify. Diagnostic number: 1042496142 Thank you in advance!

No matter what I do, I can’t play Spotify Radio stations.  I consistently get the “Unable to start radio station (Spotify)” message.  I am able to play Playlists just fine.  Not sure how to troubleshoot this.  I can play fine if I open Spotify manually and play through there.  

We use the Sonos arc only for tv fidelity. I use the app to adjust volume-but tv volume varies greatly depending on what we watch. Really a hassle to keep phone nearby and set volume for each show. This is not a problem w our previous surround system or when we use the tv speakers alone. We bought the Arc only to improve tv sound fidelity (system is in cavernous great room w open walls) which it does-except requires constant adjustment.Disappointed that the arc can’t maintain consistent volume across tv shows.can you help?

I just installed 3 amps with 5 pairs of outdoor Bowers & Wilkins am-1. It seems these speakers cannot handle the base in certain music above 75% of max volume. Which is needed outdoor. Base hits bottom and it sounds like speakers will break. These were sold together from the official retailer in Sweden.Question is, can I wire a decent outdoor subwoofer to help the speakers (to a 4th amp)? Like the Sonance rk-10. If I get rid of these speakers, are there any others that can work better? Super annoying…

relatively new sonos amp. Hello!Every time I go to play music from spotify, I choose to output the sound on "Kitchen + 2" to get it to play on my Sonos speakers. After music is started on the rest of the speakers, I open the sonos app and add the Move to the group of speakers where I'm playing music.Is there any way to get the Move to stay among the other speakers so I can play music on them all right away? (I would also love to have spotify default output to sonos, but I guess that’s a spotify issue and not a sonos issue?)

My sinus connect will not switch in. It is not power as I have connected the power lead to another connect box and that works fine. no white light on connect boxthis is the second connect box that has given me trouble. many suggestions on cause/ solution. Hello, I am confused here. I didn’t change anything in my setup and my radio playback (both TuneIn and myTuner) and gets choppy (random brakes every couple of minutes/seconds).If my ios app is open I see the message as in the title. Spotify/Airplay runs fine - no breaks.  I did reset the app and devices. I even switched to wired setup and created mesh network. Then I turned off both of my wifi networks: 2.4 and 5 GHz. It’s still the same on all of my receivers (play 5, play1, move, one). It even persist on the one which is directly connected to the router. My router has enough of bandwidth: Downstream :85.1 Mbit/s Upstream :38.8 Mbit/s I could buy Sonos Boost but now I am bit doubtful if this will help. Can I get into some kind of logs/debug messages to see what is causing buffering issues? Any clues? 

Are you really not supporting multichannel PCM on the newly announced Arc? Why? It’s not a licensing issue this time. It seems like there is always something missing with your home theater products.

I have ten Sonos products in my house and have never had any issues with my setup until this week and I’m about to lose it.My Master Bedroom has a Sonos Beam with two Sonos Ones set up as Surround speakers.My Family Room has a Sonos Arc with a connected Sub.Both have worked flawlessly for YEARS in this setup on my Nest Wifi mesh, never a problem -- until this week. I noticed for both of those two setups, my surround and sub on both rooms are showing up as ? on my system in the S2 App and are not playing music. Factory resetting my speakers and trying to set them back up was giving me errors -- the speakers would connect individually but when I tried to add them as surrounds it would fail and give me an error message. All,I have a Sonos ARC connected to my TV. I use an Apple TV box to stream SiriusXM, Pandora and other music services to my TV, which then is heard through the ARC. What I want to be able to do is also stream to my Amp, which runs speakers on my patio so I hear the stream from the AppleTV box on both systems. I saw the concept of grouping, however it seems there must be 3 Sonos products to build a group?Any advice is welcome, please!

Hi guys,This is my first topic here, I hope I can get some help and maybe also help others. I already own a sonos Beam which I really enjoy, I’m in process to build a house and I’m planning to get the sonos Amp and in ceiling speakers to pair with my Beam as surrounds. My question is, can I place the Sonos Amp inside of a Rack cabinet in another room and connect both Amp and Beam to my local network by Ethernet cable? Would this work, or do I have to place the Amp near the Beam? Thank you all in advance.

Hi there, I have previously used the diagnostics matrix to determine which speakers have strong or weak connections. I have now installed a Mesh network so I have 4 “nodes” that act as 1 SSID, running wifi6 etc. and I’m interested to see if the diagnostic matrix shows an improvement. When I use the same URL I now get as screen as per the attached image.  I’m not 100% convinced the change of network is relevant but worth mentioning. Devices are Connect Amp (so I am limited to S1 app), Playbar and two Play3s. I have tried with 1 device wired, reset wifi settings, all show WM:0, all have been rebooted and I’ve tried the same URL using each of the IP addresses.  I’m out of ideas. This is what I see 

I have been trying to set up Alexa as a voice assistant but struggling to get it to show as a service in the Sonos App.  I have tried disabling and enabling the skill in Alexa as well as deleting both apps and starting again.

I transferred my Sonos system (5 Connect:Amps, 2 Beams, and 1 Connect) to the person who purchased my home.  It looked like everything worked great on the S1 app, but when I logged in to check my Sonos account today I still see the Connect box that I transferred.  How can I transfer that to the new owner’s account? I’ve moved 500 miles away and will not be on the WiFi network where that Connect box now resides, so I’m not sure that there’s anything that I can do.

My (relatively) new Sonos Arc has been working quite well (~7 months) until now. The Arc is connected to a Samsung TV via HDMI cable and hard-wired via ethernet cable to my router. When I last tried to use the TV, I found that the TV audio will no longer play on the Arc. I also found that the Arc is missing from my Sonos app and missing from a speaker group that it was assigned to in my Alexa app. The Arc has a solid white LED illuminated next to the microphone icon, but no other outward indication that it is being powered. I tried all of the steps recommended by Sonos to get the device reconnected but all attempts failed so far. I even tried to connect to Wi-Fi after unplugging the ethernet cable but the Arc still won’t connect. The TV does not appear to recognize that an Arc is connected to it anymore.The TV’s Wi-Fi connection is fine, so I tried swapping the TV ethernet connection with the Arc ethernet connection. Can I play my TV sound through Beam and Roam simultaneously?  I have Beam connected to my Samsung Smart TV via optical cable, and would like to also connect my Roam so that I can hear the game remotely (in the backyard, which does have WiFi coverage).  Any suggestions?

I subscribe to Amazon Music unlimited in the UK. I have the Amazon Music service installed in Sonos. When I search for an Artist (The Travelling Wilburys) in the app within Sonos they are not found yet this Artist is available when I use the freestanding  Amazon Music app. How do I fix this. I have tried Sonos support and Amazon Music support with no luck. It used to work.

Humour me here, but is it possible to create a mixed wired/wireless network where the wireless devices are connected to regular wifi and SonosNet is disabled?Here is my scenario...I have a large 5x AP wifi network which provides great coverage throughout my house, but obviously I am using all 3 non-overlapping 2.4GHz wifi channels to provide this coverage.I have about 20 Sonos devices, all connected to the wifi, working fine.But I also have in excess of 100x IOT devices on the 2.4GHz wifi - low bandwidth, but can be quite chatty. I’d like to offload as much traffic off the 2.4GHz network as possible, so I’m thinking of wiring some of the Sonos devices. I have wired Ethernet in a bunch of places where I could easily wire to a Sonos device, but not all Sonos devices.I want to avoid the wired devices setting up SonosNet, as I don’t want to be creating interference on any 2.4GHz channel. Hooked up via eARC HDMI to my Sonos Beam.I also have a Connect:AMP, set as the surround speakers of my Beam.When I play movies via the Netflix of Disney+ app I don’t hear any surround sound via my speakers that are connected via the Connect:AMP.I submitted a diagnose report: 177965938Both the Beam and Amp are connected of LAN (wired) If I disconnect the Amp from the Beam I can play music from the Amp speakers TV Output is set to HDMI eARC and Passthrough (not PCM)
