I currently have a sonos arc a pair of 5's as rears and 2 sub gen 3's just wondering if I can add 2 pairs of sonos ceiling speakers and a amp to play music and all work together as 1 I know I can't do this as a cinema system, I just want to play all together for music and have the first set up for tv 

So for the last few years, I’ve been living in the dark ages somewhat with nothing more than an HD TV in the living room.The recent purchase of a PS5 has been the catalyst for me to start sliding down a slippery slope to building out a decent surround sound setup in our front room. The first port of call is going to be a new 4K TV (likely to be an LG OLED48CX5LC).However, having asked a question on Amazon around how high the TV stands (so I could figure out whether the Sonos Beam I have would cover the picture), I was basically told that it wouldn’t fit- but not to worry about it, because the direct sound from the TV is better than the Beam anyway so I don’t need a sound bar.So I guess I have a few questions that come off the back of that:Is that a fair point? Should I not worry about the Beam? If I’m not going to use the Beam, can I still connect my SLs for surround sound? If so, how do I do that? Again if the sound from the TV is so good, should I not be thinking about upgrading the

If I want voice control in my kitchen, can I pair a sonos one with a sonos SL, or do I need to use 2sonos SL'S

I just got a new MacBook Pro M1 and now I can't connect Amazon Music with either the macbook pro or my android mobile phone, even though it was working fine this morning before I installed the desktop app on the new macbook. Whenever I try to “Authorize” Sonos to connect to Amazon Music, it takes me to an Amazon Error page that just says “We’re sorry, try again.”

Can sonos amp connect 4 “normal” speakers (2 Mini pods and 2 micro pods) and a subwoofer?

For some reason the Trueplay tuning for one of my Sonos speaker groups disappeared (2 Play 5 and 1 Sub as a stereo speaker setup). The app prompts me to setup Trueplay for this room, but after successfully going through all the steps, the Trueplay tuning is not saved.I’ve tried multiple times, as well as restarting all network equipment and Sonos speakers, but with the same result.Is anyone experiencing any similar issues?If anyone from Sonos sees this, here is the diagnostics number:Your confirmation number is: 740462179 Pontus Sjöberg.

I’ve replaced a Play One so I can link TV sound (mainly in kitchen) and have more flexibility (carry to other rooms). I had no trouble with the Play One, holding down Play/Pause would pick up TV sound from beam. If I’ve recently streamed music on Roam, what sometimes happens is when I press Play/Pause the music source is transferred to the Beam and I totally lose a) TV sound and b) control of TV sound. The only way to regain control is to a) turn off music source from all devices and b) turn TV off and on again. This is not acceptable especially because it means I’ve missed important information eg the start of an Australian COVID press conference (most of Australia is currently back in lockdown). 

On my matrix 00:0E:58:24:A6:D8 (mancave) appears as well as 00:0E:58:24:A6:D9 (undefined) …. I don’t have a device with this MAC… but it seems ridiculously close to the other…. is it perhaps because it’s a ‘connect’ device and has 2 LAN ports? How do I purge the one I’m not using now from the matrix?  Thanks 

I have two Sonos Play 5 paired for stereo plus the Sonos Sub.  Is there anyway for me to connect these to play as a stereo pair plus sub to my TV.

 This is the set up recently put together but I’m having a hard time setting up the AMP as surrounds. The ARC & TV are outside on a porch. The amp is inside in a basement utility closet.  If I try to set up the amp as surrounds wirelessly, it doesn’t connect, which I would suspect would happen because it’s in a basement below the Arc and there’s an exterior wall between the two likely interfering the 5Ghz connection the Arc puts out. However, I ran a CAT6 cable between the Arc and Amp, but when I try to set up the surrounds with that plugged in, it’s still giving a network error.  Should the Amp be plugged into my wireless router instead? I’m stuck!  

I got 2 sonos one and love them and then made the mistake of getting sonos roam. Only trouble. Besides it being a very poor travel speaker with a s***** user experience,  that i couldn't connect to my hotel's wifi and then couldn't set on bluetooth. Now I'm back home and it's disconnected from my network,  to reconnect it i need to turn it off but its stuck with the flashing orange light mode. I tried pressing that back button for 12 seconds,  pause and 2 more,  as recommended by another post with the same issue,  but it hasn't worked.. I will likely try to return this because oura been a pain on all levels.  Super disappointed! 

I tried to add the 2nd Play:1 speaker to an existing system with a Play:1 speaker. I did a factory reset on the 2nd Play:1 speaker I want to add, the wizard took me to the process and at the end I consistently get the message that the Play:1 might not be visible in the App and the I need to power cycle it.I submitted support diagnostics; the confirmation number is 734836827.What to do now….

I wonder if anyone can help with a little matrix problem I have.  My Living Room device sends out to the Dining Room and Kitchen… both are the same distance away… the kitchen and dining room are also very close to each otherMy question is why is the living room sending out to the Dining Room and Kitchen, but neither the kitchen or dining room mesh with each other? They send back to the living room…. but not with each other and they are physically very close. Should it not create a complete mesh will all sending and receiving to each other? The dining room to the kitchen says it has an inbound and outbound value, but says blocked…  Thanks for any insight.  

Hello,I have a Eero mesh network and have tried the troubleshooting steps above, putting the mesh network into bridge mode but my living room setup (beam, sub and 2x one SL) still disappears from the sonos app everyday! At least once A day I have to search for missing products or update the network on my living room surround setup so that it returns to the app. This has been ongoing for about a month now, nothing has changed on my network. As a worst case scenario, yesterday I factory restored the whole living room and still the living room disappears from my app.  please help!!

Hey, does Sonos pro-ject t1 work wirelessly without any other equipment with Sonos one speakers dual set? 

If I connect the sonos in my kitchen to a LAN cable, the dining room (otherside of brick wall) has a poor very very intermittent sound issue…. If I plug the living room sonos into a LAN cable too, the dining room signal is then perfect…. the living room is further away, but not though any walls…. Is the 2.4 Sonosnet network really that weak? I thought all of my devices would connect to each other in a mesh and make a stable network… doesn’t seem to be that way. Considering just plugging them all into a LAN connection!!! Any thoughts? 

Really annoyed the queue function is broken. For example... Add a song or two to the playlist. Say you have sonf ABC and song DCE in the playlist. You then search and add song ZZZ to the playlist and click add to queue or add next. It will add it and you will see it between ABC and DCE but it will play DCE not ZZZ. Will skip over ZZZ Everytime. We have tested this twenty times and it f's up Everytime. Please fix. Used to work exactly as expected.

Hi, I just got a new Sony TV A80J and Sonos arc connected to an earc port. Every time I say, "hey google, turn on my tv," it says, "Sonos ARC switching input to TV," and nothing happens. But everything else works .. like if I say turn off the tv, it turns off if I say change input; it does. The only thing it doesn't do is turn the tv on.Also, note in the Google Home app, I name my tv "TV."Does anyone know a solution how to fix this Any help is appreciated. 

I have 5 products offering the upgrade discount. I definitely want to upgrade the play 5 but does anyone know if I select only the play 5 just now, will the upgrade option still be available for the others afterwards?Trying to figure out if the upgrade option is a one time thing, and therefore worth choosing to upgrade them all just now (to secure the discount but actually replace them further down the line). Or, if I chose just play 5 for now, then would the remaining 4 products still show the upgrade offer afterwards?

Is it possible or via Bluetooth, the speakers cannot be paired?

I am trialing a new ARC by replacing my playbar that was paired with a Sub, with the ARC. That part went ok, now have the ARC and the sub paired, all though Im not convinced the ARC is that great yet (dont have TV with Dolby Atmos )I also have a room with two One SL’s paired. I want to move the playbar to that room and pair it to the One SL’s. The playbar when turned on, comes up as another Room “Family 2”, the ARC and sub are “Family”.I dont seem to be able to unpair or move the playbar anywhere?How do I pair it with the two one SL’s ??Oh the SL’s are on wireless, and the playbar is on wired eth. thanks

Hello all, is there any way to turn on the Alexa "bong" on my S1 Move?.It does the ducking thing but a bong would be helpful to indicate it's heard the wakeup word. 

Hey all!  Got a new TV and wanted Airplay & volume control to work so I bought a Beam to replace the Playbar from my old TV setup.  New TV working great with a Beam + Sub + 2 old Play 1’s for surround.  ✅ All good.Question: If I “group” the old Playbar to the room (as configured above), will the Playbar improve or detract from the 5.1 surround sound?Yeah, I know I could/should just try it but I’m away from home and wanted to ask the sound geeks first.  Thoughts?

Hi,  Does anyone know if I can exchange/trade-in my Sonos One for Sonos Five? If yes, how much lesser would the Sonos Five cost me?The Sonos One (Gen 2) I have is only 3 months old and I am looking to upgrade. 

When connected to Sonos One using Airplay (via system sound setting), there is no sound at all. this works: Intel Macbook pro does not work: m1 Mac mini
