After power outage no sound out of wired home speakers even though app shows it is playing.  Sound works through wireless sonos speakers and alexa speakers.

Hello and thanks in advance.   I’m reconfiguring my room but i have some questions.  I have an existing in ceiling rear speakers.  My plan is to have a new tv and Sonos Arc and sub.  I have wired rears going to a different location than the Arc and Sub but everything will be connected to the same WiFi. So my questions are: can the AMP be set up to act as rear surrounds?   will the AMP connect over WiFi to the ARC (which is connect directly to the tv and wirelessly to the same WiFi network) - or do they need to be hardwired together somehow? the Sub wirelessly connects correct? any suggestion / help would be appreciated   

I am at the end of my tether. I have wasted hours trying to get my system to work after one of my speakers (a Play 3) showed as needing to be updated. I tried this, it didn’t work (said it couldn’t update and couldn’t connect to Sonos). I did a reset of that speaker and things have only got worse. Now, none of my five speakers work. I have followed all the steps your Support pages suggest multiple times (turned off router, waited, turned off speakers and then turned them on again, etc, etc). I have tried to submit diagnostics but they can’t be sent either. Please, please can someone help. No changes to my router or settings. I’m so fed up with it all.

I bought a Sonos Arc soundbar yesterday. I just got off a call with the support team member and even after one hour of troubleshooting unable to get past the Sonos setup. I am using the S2 Sonos app. This is what was done: First time connected to Wi-fi, setup failed with “Error 30” (tried this 4 times 2 times from an android phone, 1 time from an iphone and 1 time from an ipad)  Tried with direct ethernet cable going to the router, got the error “Couldn’t connect to your Sonos”  Did Factory reset at least 17 times, trying all possible options.  Tried again Wi-fi, now after typing in the password the light on the Sonos Arc speaker would turn off, setup failed The support tech asked me for diagnostic info, and he said he could not determine anything from that, why even have such a useless feature in the first place?Overall: I just don’t know what to do other then be forced to return the product (honestly was so looking forward to use it) after 3 hours of wasting my time to setup the prod

Hi, I recently bought the Roam and set up on my home network with no issues. Very pleased with it I might add although could do with a bit more bass.Now we are away and I linked my phone to the Roam via Bluetooth and again no issues. However one of the kids wanted to link their phone which again was successful. However when I wanted my phone linked back to the Roam it couldn't find my phone. I have tried everything and pressed so many different buttons and combinations of inthink I have factory reset it and can't seem to do anything with it? I guess I have to set up on hone network again and basically start over? Bit frustrating to say the least. I also have a Winderboom speaker I use in my gym at home and have never had issues with connecting a different devices to it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

*Beam not bean lolHow do i stop my Sonos from reading the time out aloud on the hour 24/7... ?It's driving me mad and keeps waking me up through the night. It never used to do this, I've just moved and it started doing this when I plugged everything back in again.I've tried turning the volume down completely and this makes no difference.I need sleep ...

Hi,I am having issues with my sonos system ( 2x Sonos One Gen2 and 2x One SL). Both Sonos and Spotify apps are up to date. I also have just updated my entire Sonos system. Yet I am playing music from my spotify account using the Sonos app and I am playing the song on repeat (white noise for the kids) and crossfade.The song plays for a good 30 min to an hour but then the music suddenly stops and I get a message either saying unable to play the selected title (though it was working fine for am hour) or it says, unable to connect to Spotify.I have performed router reboot, and each individual sonos unit reboot. I have a recently developing issue where my sonos arc set up and beam set up keep losing the PLAY1 surrounds. Not I have an arc set up with the new ones with no issue. However both rooms running the play 1s constantly disconnect from surround and have to be reset to get them reconnected. I have a further 2 play 1s in my kitchen which don't give me any issue, but this seems to link to them being part of the home theatre set up.   Any one Amy ideas?

Opened my Sonos app in my garden room started playing music and was confronted with a boomy mess. Sounded like Trueplay had been turned off.Turns out Trueplay is not only off but shows as if it had never been set up.  So I tuned the room again.  That worked but it will not show the option to turn Trueplay on or off. Rebooted all the speakers, tried again but although the tuning completes it does not show in the room.diagnostic 1231198605Excuse the title typo, courtesy of Apple autocorrect 

I have been trying to get an official response from SONOS on their continued use of SMB1 which will be removed from various vendors products.  I have been using SONOS since it was introduced with various SYNOLOGY NAS and Windows based computers to store my ripped music. When SYNOLOGY releases DSM V7 they have indicated that SMB1 will be removed and Microsoft Windows has deprecated the protocol.  I will NOT purchase another SONOS product until they provide an official answer on their plans to continue to support streaming music from a NAS that does NOT require the SMB1 protocol.

I recently purchased an ARC Soundbar to replace my Sonos Soundbar in my main family room. I plan on using the old Soundbar in my bedroom as my TV sound is horrible.  I would like to place it where my cable box is currently located (see picture). Any issues with that placement?   thank you for your feedback!  

I am moving to a rural area with my sonos system with less than 1mbps. Everywhere it talks about needing internet for playing music from phone or devices. I want to know, if I use a modem/router to connect the beam and subwoofer and connect the beam to a tv via hdmi arc, will it play the audio on the tv? If I were to watch blu-ray movies and whatnot? Or does the sonos require a constant internet connection to function at all?

Hi all, I’ve set up and tuned a pair of Sonos One speakers as Surround for our existing (working) Playbar/Sub. During the tune process, I heard great sound from the surround pair of Ones. Once I began to watch TV, ther was no sound from the Ones (surround) but normal sound from the Playbar and Sub. Anyone know what to do next?

I can’t seem to find any articles on the internet that shows me how I can use my current Sonos sound system as my everyday playback sound system for my PC to watch Netflix or Youtube with. Can anyone help me in that regard? Many thanks!

Hello: I’ve created a number of playlists with various songs from all genres downloaded on my desktop computer. However when I listen to and play back the playlist using my Play1 speaker, many of the songs, because they were recorded at different volume levels, don’t play at the same volume level. Some songs play back louder than others and as a result I am continuously having to increase or decrease the volume on the Play1 speaker, depending on the song.Is there a way to set the volume on the Sonos app or Play1 speaker so that the songs on the playlists play back at equal or the same volume levels?Apreciate any help or insight.Thanks.

Hello, this morning I found one of my Sonos One gen 2, forming a stereo pair not working.I have tried to hard reset it and after reboot, the blinking white led just never stops. Not any of the touch buttons are responsive. Could not add back the speaker to the system, the sonos app could not even see it. Is there a way to make it work again? Thanks(calling the support by phone, unfortunately it's not an option for me) 

Hi All,I recently upgraded the software on my Sonos Playbar however this had the effect of my Play 1 speakers and Sub no longer working. All of my speakers and TV are using the same internet access. I also removed the speakers and sub from the ‘Sonos’ app on my phone and re-installed. I also disconnected my internet and factory reset the speakers in an effort to get them to work but with no luck. I understand I can no longer upgrade the software on my speakers. Lastly, my speakers and sub do work when I stream music via Spotify so the issue is getting the speakers and sub to work via my TV (LG OLEG). Any help that could be provided would be appreciated.Cheers,SH 

Hi guys I have a bridge a play one and 2 connect amps, since the updates it keeps telling me my bridge is incompatible, does anyone know if I get the new boost, will my other sonos equipment  work still?

In the Sonos app, under “Suggested Services” I see Pandora, but when I click on it, nothing happens. Also, Pandora does not come up in the search box under the “Add a Service” screen. Please advise. 

Why do Sonos constantly keep sending me an email that asks me to update my first and last name? I have responded dozens of time yet they keep sending me the same email.  thanksross

We have Sonos One with Alexa in kitchen and playbar in lounge.We can control playbar through Alexa in kitchen, but of course that’s not very convenient.I don’t want to install an Alexa device in the lounge just to control playbar, which I’m sure is one solution. But what other options are there to control playbar with Alexa? Eg to play a Spotify track on playbar with voice control.We don’t have any other kit with Alexa built-in other than Sonos One.

I recently bought some Sonos products and set up, via WIFI, a roam, beam and Sonos Five just fine. My Sonos one SL shows up in the Sonos app like all the others but when it tries to connect to the wifi and update to the latest software it just won’t connect. I’ve tried cable but it just says I should change the router settings.  I’m currently mooching off another WIFI, not my own yet, so I can’t get into the router settings. But all the other products work just fine, so I don’t see how that can be the issue. Has anybody experienced something similar? Thanks in advance.

Hi wonderful Sonos Family!Hope you are doing well.I am in need of your expert help in one of my Sonos Setup!I have three rooms listed below1- TV Room (Sonos Arc, 2 One SLs & Sub Gen3). Arc is connected to TV2- Living Room - Two Sonos Five3- Media Room - Sonos PortI have external Device (Clock play specific sound on different set)  connected to my Sonos Port (Media Room) as Line in to Sonos System. In Sonos App on my Media room which is Port device having Auto Play Setup. In Sonos App there is option which room you want to choose for Auto Play so I choose TV Room for Auto play and when Sonos Port detects any audio signal then it plays that music on my TV room automatically even though some media is played on TV because auto play take priority on that room. That is totally fine and I really want that but there is option in the Auto Play to Include Grouped Rooms so I choose that option so I can play to my all other rooms but its not working.I believe the issue is even though I have gr
