Hi all,I own three Sonos One and since about a month I’ve been experience some super annoying crackling sound on two of them. It happens when playing via Spotify from my PC and also using the Sonos app on android and iOS. I have tried everything some changing to 5ghz, 2.4ghz, setting up again the speakers, disabling true play, disabling loudness, disconnecting the devices from the power source for some minutes and nothing works.My diagnostic confirmation number are: 470077500 and 1054473763I would appreciate any help because this issue is ruining the audio experience and driving me crazy.Thanks,Cajcote

HiAm I right in thinking that I can add a old Sonos5 series1" to my Sonos Arc & x2 Sonos1 surrounds Setup/Room & play my vinyls through the 5s but enable playback through my arc & 1sThink that make sense 😳!🤣!& will there be any issue with the 5 being Series1 & the appI'll control everything from the new Sonos App so I can't see any As far as I can understand I'll just be using the 5 as a vinyl bridge into my Sonos Setup 😉!🤔!......

Trying to play a single episode of a podcast from the Stitcher service via the app doesn’t work.  If I am in the Stitcher Podcasts section of the app and select an episode and “Play now’ i get the error message “Unable to play <podcast episode name> - access is denied.’  However, if i just select the episode itself, it will play, only it also adds every single other episode of the podcast to my queue, so if I have music or other podcasts already in the queue, they are all moved down hundreds of places.  It’s extremely annoying and the error is completely uninformative.  It is definitely not an access issue, since the same episode will play if all episodes are added to the queue.  This happens consistently with any podcast.  Very frustrating bug.

I have 2 Sonos One SL speakers in different rooms, and the latest Apple TV. I have not previously had AppleTV sound through the speakers. The other day I was trying to set up Siri control for the speakers, without success. I was also trying to set up leave and return home routines as well as an alarm with the speakers. I’m now seeing a few weird things happen, all with Airplay listed as the source in the Sonos app.  I’m now getting brief “now playing” banners come up over the Apple TV screensaver based on music set directly through the app (I think; it may have been the return home routine that set the music). I paused the music yesterday and it started playing on its own a few minutes later. No alarms are set around this time. The last 2 mornings since setting up the return home routine and a 4:45 AM alarm, I’ve had the music change shortly before 7 AM to the station set for the return home routine.  Last night my son turned on a movie through Apple TV, and the sound was playing throu

I got my Roam yesterday, and have been trying to AirPlay to it from an iPhone (XS) or MacBook on WiFi, but am unable to get it to show up in the iOS list.  It does appear in the AirPlay menu within the SONOS app.  Any ideas? 

I’m using a 100watt/channel Rotel amp to power B&W ceiling speakers.  Occasionally the music cuts out at low volumes and randomly comes back on.  I’ve checked all of connections on the professionally installed rack and consulted with Rotel yet nothing seems to work.

I have a speaker in my shed that I set up to play and it may play a day or two and then it isn’t playing. So I’m wondering if Sonos shuts it down or is there a problem somewhere else like maybe my network.

Hi,i have two Sonos One’s that are a stereo pair. And I have two Symfonisks that are a stereo pair. They work fine when I play music on either of the sets. However, when I group the Sonos and Symfonisks, only the right (or left) speakers of both pairs play sound. The other channel goes off.  Any tips? Grouping the speaker sets used to work fine, but has stopped working since we moved to a new place. Could it be a wifi signal issue? Thanks! Stefan

So I have the Sonos Connect. For some reason it keeps needing reset. I did a master reset and set it up again and it works fine. Then when i try to use the next day my app says “unable to connect to sonos lets fix it” So Ill go through and set up again and all is fine until the next time I go to use it. What is going on? Can the connect have gone bad? 

I have an album converted from FLAC to Apple Lossless that plays fine in the Music app but Sonos won’t play it. I have other converted albums that play fine through Sonos.  What might be different about this one album?

Whos bright idea was it to introduce pin no’s to set up the amps What good does it do why is it printed in micro sized print on the underneath of the amp where you cannot see it, after it's been plugged in and placed on your rack shelf. 

I just bought a Sony A80J, and need some guidance with the audio settings. I’ve got the Beam connected through the ARC port. It works but I’m not sure if I’m using the optimal settings. I assume I should have eARC mode on. On digital audio out I’m not sure if I should use one of the two Auto settings or use PCM. I’m not sure if I should have Pass Through Mode on. Finally, Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital Plus? Any guidance would be appreciated. 

It’s all there in the title. Did 13.2 do anything for this issue? We just got the “bug fixes and improvements” rhetoric and because it was a big number update (.x) instead of a .x.x update maybe their would be something substantial. 

When I first had my Roam - beginning of July everything worked fine.   In the past week the Sonos Roam keeps coming up as offline - I’ve followed the procedure to re-connect, everything looks fine, and then nothing … the product doesn’t appear on the list … I switch the Roam off and on again - as per instructions, i get the error message that the roam is offline and that I should start the procedure all over again. I’ve tried to connect via Bluetooth, but that’s not working either ….  Please can someone help me!

hi, I have recently bought a Sonos move and set up the voice command groups on the Alexa app. the group I have set up is - (named- living room)Sonos Move, 2 x play 1s and a Sonos play bar. When using the voice command that's on the Alexa app (Alexa, play music in the living room), the Sonos move just plays a new song and does not play the grouped speakers. any help with this would be appreciated as its really frustrating?I can group them using the app on my phone, so its not the end of the world lol but as the option for Alexa is there id like to use it.  thanks

i  m unable to access bbc local radio on my sonos system This applies equally using tune in  or sonos radio. On trying to access i keep getting the loop message stating the programme is unavailable due to tecnical or contractual reasons.  i am aware of other users suffering the same issue.I look forward to any help available.kind regardsGeoff Flitton 

I currently have an Arc with gen 3 sub and two one SL surrounds. The only way I can setup the  room is with the couch against the wall. I have the surrounds mounted and turned inward, but I don’t get the true surround feeling. I’ve seen that you can’t add more surrounds, but is there a work around with another speaker or two to put behind the couch to get the surround feeling? Ideally the speaker would be running the surround audio and not main audio. 

Hi, I have aquired a Used Sonos ZP80 and added to my S1 system, after it added it showed update available but when I try to update it states the App needs updating but My S1 app is up to date.Now even if I power off the ZP80 it states my app needs updating every time I try to add a device. My app version is 11.2.9  Build 57688280My other working ZP80 is Version 11.2.9  Build 57688280.the newly added ZP80 is version 9.3 Build 47259120. I have used 2 ZP100s and another ZP80 to add bought from the same person. Any advice much appreciated.Mark

I guys,I like to know if it possible to connect my Sonos Play 1 to my Smart TV and listen the sound of TV in Sonos Play 1? José Batista 

Is there a way to only allow the connected devices to access the sonos one rather than anyone with the wifi access? Its so annoying ...anyone in the same wifi can mess the now playing

I have many fitness studio locations that use the sonos port and as of last week every single sonos is disconnecting all day every day. The only way to get it to come back is to power cycle the unit. Was there an update that is causing this? Is there a solution? We have turned off all 2.4ghz frequencies in each studio without any resolve. We have changed it to channel 1, 6, and 11 and it still happens. I dont think this matters as the port is hard wired. Is anyone else having this issue?

From looking a various blogs, I don’t appear to be the only person experiencing this problem, but it doesn’t appear to be easily searchable in the support forums and those I have found have been closed.I’m operating an S1 system linked to a Napster account. I have a number of Sonos Playlists setup using a combination of my ‘owned’ songs linked from my external hard drive music library and tracks from Napster. I am periodically seeing some of the songs ‘linked’ via Napster not payable from the play list. It appears the Napster server link breaks and the track/song can’t be played.To resolve the issue requires having to re-search for the track/song on Napster and re-adding to the Sonos Playlist, deleting the original ‘broken’ link from the playlist. Very annoying! Particularly given that the song can still be found on Napster.Is this because Napster move the track/song between servers, hence breaking the link where Sonos would find the track? 

I am a custom AV installer, I am currently wiring a few houses and anticipate needing about 30 sonos amps in around 6 months. I think I know the answer to this, but is there any update on sonos amp supply? I see that they are currently not shipping until around November, do you anticipate having plenty by then or should I go ahead and order everything I need now? On ebay they are going for like $900-$1000, ughhh.

As I understand two Sonos Roam can be setup as stereo pair through WiFi. In my case I have no home WiFi, only smartphone hotspot that I use all the time for all my home devices. Is it possible to set up a stereo pair this way? Will there be limitations?And what if I use two Sonos One in stereo pair? Do they behave the same?The stereo pair will be playing music mainly from my desktop, and occasionally from my phone. Thanks in advance.
