How does it look for streaming my TV to my stereo Sonos speaker pair? Can we get an upgrade out in the near term?

I am asking because music streaming apps like Pandora and Spotify are on my TV. So this really a question about streaming music to a Sonos One speaker. The question is probably nest answered by the manufacturer - is there an update in the works and can it be pushed out to the current family of speakers.
It’s extremely unlikely you will ever be able to wirelessly connect your TV directly to your Sonos One speaker. There are a several technical and business reasons that make it quite a challenge. Just from a technical standpoint, your TV would have to be connected to your network and have a firmware update to send audio wirelessly to Sonos speaker, and do it in a way that there is no lip sync issues. Which TV manufacturers would you start with, and why would they want to do this upgrade? Why would Sonos want to do this when they already have speakers that connect to your TV?
If all you want is Pandora and Spotify control through your TV, then perhaps you could see of they could upgrade their TV apps to including casting, like they have on the mobile apps.

The Sonos One is a music speaker. It isn’t designed to be used as a TV speaker. And there are no physical audio connections like an HDMI or optical port on the One for an upgrade to make much of a difference. But Sonos offers home theater devices like the Arc and Beam that are specifically designed to be connected to a TV.
Or are you asking if Sonos will expand into the tv market? How else will a tv stream to your speakers?
