Hoping someone has some advice that can help. I’ve been dealing with Sonos customer service regarding my connectivity issues and they haven’t been able to solve my problem either.  I have a blend of older speakers - all of which were very expensive!   Play 5 - plugged in via Ethernet(2) Play 3(3) Play 1(2) ConnectConnect:Amp There are 9 “speakers” in total and I can hardly ever get them all to play at once without buffering, cutting out, or skipping songs.  I upgraded my router to a professional mesh system (3 placed throughout the house) and upgraded my Internet to fiber optic.  My home is 1,900 square feet and has 3(!) routers placed throughout it.  Connection speeds range from 250mbps - 350mbps. I find it very hard to believe that Internet is the problem.  And it is EVERY speaker that will cut out from time to time, including those that have nothing but a few feet of interference-free space between them.  My Play:5 is literally plugged into the router with an Ethernet cable and STIL

I recently purchased the Sonos Port and the Project T1 SB turntable so I could connect it to a set of move speakers and listen to vinyl.  Overall I’m happy with the sound quality, the stereo effect is quite good and it has the expected warmth and depth that comes with vinyl. There are however two things I’m trying to understand better to see if it’s worth adding.  connecting either a Bluetooth transmitter so I can use my Sony XM4 headphones with it, or buying a headphone pre-amp and wired set adding a DAC pre-ampOn number 1, I believe I can just connect this to the line out plugs on the port and either power a wired set or connect my Sony headphones to it, is that correct? Has anyone done this?On number 2, I’m not sure there’s any point in adding an external pre-amp or DAC component if I’m not connecting it to analog speakers, since it’s the port that streams to the Sonos Moves. Is my understanding right? Appreciate any guidance as I’m new to this type of stuff  

Hey all. We dropped our Sonos Move from counter height onto a concrete floor. No cosmetic damage but unsurprisingly, it now sounds terrible.  Does anyone have an idea where I can send it for repair or am I better off buying a new one? Thanks

Looks like one of my connect amps has bitten the dust. There is no sound coming from it. Been through the process with support and they said to mail it back and I’d get a 30% discount on a new product. With the price of the new amps ($899Can) that’s still a huge amount to replace. In the past, they would sell you a refurbished connect amp for approx $150. I’ve been a sonos customer for a very long time. Customer service isn’t what it used to be.  Anyone have any ideas on what causes the no sound?  Is it repairable? thanks!

I need to control various Sonos sites from my IOS device.  Works fine until I leave site; using VPN to remote into the site via cellular doesn’t work.  IOS app binds only to Wi-Fi adapter on IOS and doesn’t recognise that I’m routing via the network that Sonos is on.  Anyone found a solution?

Hello Sonos community,  I would like to connect my video projector to a Sonos device, the Sono Beam Gen 2 seems most appropriate with the HDMI. Anyone already tried ? If not, do you recommend another product?  Thank you for your reply and help ;)

I have speech enhancement turned on with the arc, but I'm still trying to find out how to hear dialogue better. Is it possible to have a Sonos one SL or another less expensive speaker configured to exclusively play voices?Has anyone else ever experienced the arc with only one back speaker? In that case, how did that sound?

I have a Sonos Arc standalone with no other speakers or subs. I am almost tearing my hair out trying to solve the below conundrum for hours now.My PS5 is connected to the HDMI 3 port on my LG CX. My Sonos Arc is connected to the LG CX through HDMI 2 (eArc port).On my TV sound settings, I have enabled eArc. Digital sound-out is "pass-through". In HDMI Input Audio format, both HDMI 2 and HDMI 3 are set to PCM.On my PS5, I have set "AV Amplifier----> 5.1 channel----> SOund output: Linear PCM".Despite the above setting, the Sonos app is telling me its outputting Multichannel PCM 7.1 indicating I am missing 2 full channels of sound.How do I fix this? I don't want to change the PS5 output to Dolby and HDMI 3 Input in TV settings to Bitstream as I have heard PCM is better than Dolby for gaming.Can someone please help with this? What settings should I change to output 5.1 on my sound bar?

Hi,I got a notification in my Sonos App a few days ago about the Sonos Upgrade program, saying I had eligible devices - Beam Gen 1, 2x Play 1’s and a Play One (Gen 1).But when I login to my Sonos account and check on the system page where my speakers are listed, I don’t see any option to claim the discounts. Tried a couple of times, no dice. And no, discounts have never been claimed on these speakers previously.Would really appreciate some help from the Sonos team. Thanks

Logitech Harmony Hub has worked great with Sonos for years. Suddenly, about a month ago, the volume buttons stopped working. On another recently closed thread, I see that this is a Harmony firmware issue. Can you please get Logitech to fix this!?!!

I hope everyone is welI I have an issue with my sound reproduction system. maybe you can help me. We currently have a Sonos Connect controller to play music at our community gym station. A few weeks ago we began to perceive a failure in terms of music, basically a playlist is played on Spotify linked to the sonos software, after a period of time between 5 to 15 minutes the audio is cut (it runs out of sound like if music playback was paused), however in the software (Sonos) it shows as playing. In order for the sound to return, that is, the music can be heard again, it is necessary to lower and raise the volume of the player.  regards. 

While investigating another problem I had to uninstall and re-install the Sonos App on my Windows 10 PC.  On re-installing though the app only finds one of the six Sonos devices I have.  I’ve tried the remove and re-install again but the same thing happens.  How can I best troubleshoot this?All 6 devices are available to me on the Android app.Malcolm

I am going to set up a secondary multi room system using Sonos One SL in 3 or 4 rooms.  My main system is a Lyngdorf system which is not multi room. I need to decide whether to buy new Sonos One SL’s or for half the price I could buy secondhand Sonos One (Gen 1).  What are the main differences between them ? It is possible that one of the SL’s could be replaced by a Sonos Five so the same question about Five / Play 5 Thanks

I have several Sonos speakers. I want to reduce the volume of just one speaker. How can is this best done?What I do at the moment on my Andorid app is this:(1) First tap the volume dot for the whole system. This shows the volume settings for each speaker. I often play at a low volume, such as setting number “9” which means there isn’t enough space on the slider to tap to the left of the volume indicator dot.(2) Next I tap to the right of the dot (which increases the volume) and then use the smartphone’s volume control buttons to lower that particular slider’s setting to.That’s a very clumsy way of doing it. Is there a simpler and better way?

Hi All. Since the Apple Music outage a few days ago I just get the message “Unable to browse music” when trying yo use Apple Music.  I have removed and reloaded the account, reauthorised it etc to no avail.  I have a family account and I did notice that my partners library was working fine which seemed odd. Its becoming a pain now as not all of my set u is Airpaty compatible so fiddling about to link things isn't very user friendly ! I see this seems to have happened over the years but wondered if anyone had a resolution to this ?

I have a Connect Gen 2 manufactured in 2018.  Is the sample rate for the analog to digital conversion on the line in 44.1khz? or 48khz?  Is it the same for the Sonos Port?For example if I plugged in a DVD player and the audio output was 16bit 48Khz, would the Connect down sample to 44.1khz?

Did the 14.4 update.. then trueplay. Now I’m getting this notification for the Arc. What and why is this? Hopefully a SONOS rep will chime in and give a definitive answer. 

Hi all I have tried the following to connect my Sonos One with my iPhone 11 Pro Max:Rebooting system between phone and sonos (like a million times) Rebooting my wifi router Disabled Airtime fairness on router Enabled IGMP snooping on router Updated router to 2.4Ghz, 5GHz-1 Maked sure area network is turned on on my iphoneI seriously don’t know what else to try. Nothing seems to help so now i am reaching out in this community.Weird thing is that it is appearing on my network and on my husbands iPhone X (sonos app).

Hello, I have recently changed my router and since then my two ONE SLs constantly log out. I have spoken to several Sonos agents and none can fix the issue, one even remotely logged into my router and still nothing, all they did was disconnect my Wi-Fi. I have tried everything, please someone help 

Hi There I bought a new Sonos Beam. It connected initially to the Sonos app on iOS. It then just disappeared and now it won’t reconnect and cannot be found. I have unplugged the Ethernet, HDMI and tried resetting the system but nothing. It works with TV via the HDMI but isn’t registering on the Sonos app. Help! 

Hi,2 years ago, I had a VPN to use Alexa on my Sonos, because I’m from Belgium and it was not supported for that country at that time. For a reason that I can’t figure, I can’t do that anymore, but that’s ok because as you can see below, Alexa is avalaible since more than a year in Belgium :  BUT ! When I try to use Alexa on my Sonos app, or when I try to add the sonos skill on my Alexa app, there’s still this message, saying that Alexa isn’t avalaible in my country. I know that Alexa isn’t the problem here because it works just fine with other skills or with my eccho dot without using any VPN, it has to come from Sonos. Sonos, is there a way to fix this ? As a Belgian who finally get access to Alexa, I’m dying to be able to use it on my Sonos Beam or Sonos One, as I used to do years ago ! (And without having to use a VPN because it’s a pain in the a**...)Thanks in advance if you can help me. (Hope I was understandable, English is not my main language)

My main system is in my living room and is not a multi room system and I now want a multi room system for 3 rooms in the rest of the house. I am thinking of buying three One SL’s but need to understand  if they will do all I want.  I have a subscription to Qobuz and a sizeable collection of flac tracks on my PC and want to be able to access these. I also want to be able to play podcasts from my IPad and also listen to radio stations.  I want to create playlists which can be accessed by any speaker I want to be able to play something different through each speaker at the same time.   Will 3 One SL’s be able to do this or will I need to buy a Port as well

Hi all. I ran a S2 Sonosnet-based system in our home for some years with a Boost connected to ethernet on the middle floor of the house. All devices played smoothly and the matrix looked good.A pair of Moves was then purchased for garden use. They set up fine as a Stereo Pair and connected etc... indeed, all seemed well.However once out in the garden the Move unit which was furthest from the house experienced drop outs, freezes and general buggyness. I tried various things with wi-fi boosters and changing the wireless channel etc but to no avail.Finally I reset the entire system and started again, this time omitting the Boost and running the whole thing as a wi-fi setup. Success! - all configured fine and now the stereo pair of Moves in the garden run without issue and I can take them further from the house than before.So my question is this: because the Move relies on wi-fi and not Sonosnest, is it better to use a pure wifi setup for reliable Move performance, rather than one where th
