I currently have my LG Oled C8 connected via eArc to a Beam Gen1, with 2 Sono One’s at the rear. What would be the best upgrade path for me? Adding a Sonos Sub Mini, or upgrading the Gen1 Beam to a Gen2?

Hello,I would like to suggest a new feature for the iOS App of Sonos. It would be great to have profiles for the EQ that automatically set at a given time the EQ according to a preset config/profile.E.g.: I could create two EQ profiles that automatically adjust the EQ once a given time is reached (skipping loudness in this example); “Profile Day at 8AM” with Bass +10 and Treble +5 and “Profile Night at 9PM” with Bass -10 and Treble +0.→ That is it for the basic feature! The Sonos sound system seems to be currently unaware of the night/day time and does not adjust accordingly. Most of my home and/or smart devices etc. are “going to sleep” (and “wake up” as well) at a given time I set; dimming the light, filtering blue light etc. and that would be an awesome feature for the sound system as well. More ideas for fine-tuning or extra features:Support different profiles for different days; this way weekends could have “a little extra hour of full sound” or something like that. Smooth transiti

I’m having an issue with the volume of the system going up way too high when playing a playlist and it’s the 3rd or 4th song on the list. It gets so high that I can’t leave music playing without having the phone in hand to turn it down when this happens. It’s gets so loud almost full volume but the volume setting stays same, just acts like somehow the content volume is changing. I have to skip song to fix issue. It happens every time. Anyone else with this issue? Im curious how to resolve this.

I have a sonos arc connected with hdmi arc to my tv. If I get a connect amp and use it with my (non Sonos) ceiling speakers connected through an optical cable to my tv will it work?

There is a nightmare I have where i can’t log in to a really important site because I can’t remember my password, or at least the one I can remember isn’t accepted. However, there is a “forgot your password” button and I am emailed a reset password email, which I follow, to a new password that is accepted by a website, a forum, but not where I want to log in.ON the Sonos App. I am baffled that this nightmare has come to life: Sonos app asks me to log in but doesn’t accept my password. I reset and am directed to the website. When i go back to the app, again I am told the password is incorrect, but I can reset my password. And so the merry go round continues. I know the propagation of the password information can take a few minutes, or that you can’t update an account that doesn’t exist. Doesn’t apply. I also thought I should update the app, that might fix it. Oh, you need to login to update... So how is it reset my password on the Sonos app is broken and how do i log into my Sonos app s

My Sonos Move is so useless we’ve stopped trying to use it.What a total waste of money.I’ve had it for over two years and it constantly disconnects itself from WiFi AND Bluetooth. When I’ve finally got BOTH connected again it still won’t play ANYTHING - WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY.I bought a cheap ‘ Creative Muvo Mini’  Bluetooth speaker and it works perfectly EVERY time - why is SONOS so difficult to use! Sent from my iPad

Hey I’m sure this has been asked before but having spent some time searching the forums I can’t find a definitive answer. Can I play Apple Music Lossless audio through my Sonos system? My understanding is that this isn’t possible through the S2 app, but does this work via Airplay? ThanksRex

Looking for some input on rear speaker placement.   There is about a 12-inch shelf between the wall and couch, but its slightly below the couch level. Ear level is about 4ft. The doorway can be closed off, but there is nowhere to mount speaker above it.  I feel my only option is to wall mount the One SLs on the wall behind the couch, but not sure on placement or height. I’m thinking each corner of the couch with them tilted downward, but what height would you recommend? FYI System is Beam (Gen2) ONE SLs for surround, and Sub Mini once it arrives. All the AV equipment supports Dolby Atmos.

Hi,My Sonos Beam is connected via a HDMI cable to the TV. But my Router/Moden is at the other end of the flat and I cannot connect my Sonos Beam to the home network via an Ethernet cable. Now my question is: Can I connect my Sonos Beam via WiFi to my home network? Thanks

One of my speakers ended up (Sonos one) in a bathtub of water for less than a minute.  I hit it with the blow dryer. It seems to be fine, but should I soak it in rice? Any other advice?

Hey,I have a pair of Ones on my wall using the official Ones wall mount. I’m moving and need to take down the mounts, but can’t get them to budge! Is there some trick or knack to removing the mounts?

Is the Home theater extension, 2 One’s and a mini sub, worth getting as an addition to my current Sub, Arc, and 2 Ones?

I am in process of upgrading my home theater system. Currently I have wired speakers and Denon Amplifier. For daily use I want to use Sono Arc. However to watch movies I would like to incorporate sono arc to my wired system. Few options I came across: 1) Use Sono Amp and connect the rear speakers, however it would not power the sub. 2) Use Sono Sub but it only connects to Sono Arc not to non-sono amplifier. 3) Keep the current system “as is” for movies and Sono Arc for daily; Bummer...

For over 6 months I was able to use Alexa on my 4 Sonos devices (3 x Sonos One + Sonos Beam). It was working much better than Google Assistant and I was able to control my smart home devices this way. However, few weeks ago Alexa stopped responding correctly to some of the commands and last week it declined to work completely. When trying to troubleshoot the issue I removed Sonos skill from Alexa. Unfortunately, now I cannot add it back. When trying to add Alexa in the Sonos app I can see a message “Amazon Alexa is not available in your country”. Is there any way to bring back the Alexa to Sonos? It was working perfectly fine in English. I was wondering if the Sonos team could disable the geographical restriction in Amazon Skills store? I’m really angry as my choice to buy 5 devices (Beam, 3 Sonos One and one One SL) was driven mostly by the Alexa support few months ago...

I currently have a TV with output into a Playbar. I have two Play:1 speakers in other rooms in the house. All are configured as one system. My hardware and controller software are fully up to date. I would like to play my TV audio output to the two Play:1 speakers and not have the TV playing on the Playbar. When I route any non-TV audio source to the Playbar, the TV disappears as an input option for any source. So I cannot have TV output going to a Play:1 while some other output is going to the Playbar. If I send the TV output to the entire system then remove the TV from the Playbar only (keeping it routed to the Play:1 devices), it also drops the TV from the Play:1.I've been doing this for years, and now it stopped working. How do I make it work again? Or does this no longer work?

I have been banging my head on this for quite a while now. I need to connect my Vinyl player to the Sonos Beam, which is also connected to the TV.I found this scheme on another thread  Beam ← HDMI/optical ← optical switch ← TV                                                                ← ADC ← preamp (if reqd) ← turntableThe thread is: I have an analog to digital converter that can take the player output into optical.I also have an optical switch, which I could use to switch between player optical output and TV optical output. The thing I haven’t considered from that shceme is how to connect optical SPDIF to the Beam HDMI. It tells “HDMI/optical” but I haven’t found any such adapter/converter.Any help understanding how to do it, or any other solution proposal would be highly appreciated. Thanks

I recently bought Sonos Arc + Sub Gen 3. I was wondering if there is a way Sonos Arc can connect directly with Sub Gen 3 (without being depedent on WiFi). Similar to how Samsung Q950A or JBL Bar 9.1 does.

Good afternoon,Just purchased a refurb Sonos Beam gen 1 from Sonos to add to my old tv set-up.Have connected utilising the supplied optical adapter as tv doesn't have Arc. Other components include, Blu-ray, Amazon Fire Cube and Humax freesat box (HDR1100).My issue is that Freesat box only plays through Beam in stereo, even if broadcast is in Dolby Digital. Freesat box settings appear correct (Audio type stereo (only options right, left and stereo) & Digital audio out - multi channel). When playing apps via Amazon Fire Cube (Prime, Netflix or Disney Plus), the broadcast is in Dolby Digital.I thought this may have been a limitation of old tv, however, why would one play back in digital and one in stereo - same programme in Netflix via Humax is in stereo whereas via cube is in digital.Any help/guidance would be extremely welcome. Many thanks

My speakers are intermittently appearing and disappearing from my Sonos apps. On my phone I usually get only the Beam, but sometimes only the Play:3. On my laptop I get Move most of the time but not always. Really weirdly, I can play music through Spotify connect through the Play:3 via the sonos connection at the same time that the same speaker does not appear in the sonos app. what is going on and how can I fix it?! All are connected on the same wifi, I’ve tried switching off and on multiple times. I’ve tried to find the speakers in the sonos app by adding a new product to my system. It’s hugely frustrating!

My speakers (sonos 1) and sub keep disconnecting from the app. Almost as if they go into a power saver mode after an hour or so and then I have to power them down and on again to get them to reconnect Why do they not just stay on all the time?

Hello:I have a Beomaster 7000 with a phono, CD and tape. I purchased a 7 pin DIN with two RCA jacks to connect to my SONOS connect.I want to play the system to the line in on the SONOS. It will not play from any of the 7 pin connections. I got it to play from the headphone jack so I know the SONOS line in is working.  There was another post that said to use the tape connection  I tried both tape 1 and 2 with no success. The line in/out jack doesn’t work either. Possibly because I have only line out, not back in. It appears it may need both to make the loop?Any help would be appreciated.

HELP  Bought the beam yesterday, set it up as standard and watching something on the fire cube last night the sound suddenly cut off. This was around 2 hours into watching.Followed all troubleshooting steps today, eventually resetting the beam and starting again.Seemd to be connected to TV alright for a while tonight again, then sound stopped again.I also have a fire tv cube and virgin 360 box connected to the same TV. Last I checked, I could listen to Spotify on the beam but there's silence when I try listen to the TV.The 3 devices are all in an enclosed space in a tv unit (under the TV which is on the wall), should I keep them apart?I seen someone mention a CEC less adaptor

Hello SONOS Community:While I am able listen to Spotify from my PC (via Bluetooth) on my Sonos One speaker, I unfortunately cannot use Sonos One for any other audio from my PC...When I view Bluetooth devises on my PC Settings, I see the Sonos One, but I cannot access or activate it.  Any help would be appreciated.

What type of Bluetooth headphones are compatible with Sonos? We have 2 Plays, 1 Roam, and 1 Port.

I bought a new IMac running Monterey and transferred my music library between the  networked machines via the migration assistant i then exported all of my playlists from my old iMac to my new one via the ITunes export and import function  On my Sonos I then added my new music location, indexed and can see my complete library in Sonos, however, it did not bring in imported playlists, which now shows ‘no selections are available’. I have followed all of the related topic in the Sonos community, but so far nothing changes.I have created new playlists, new smart playlists and reindexed, but nothing comes across in Sonos. So frustrating
