SO, there has been an update…. Local Library is back...HOWEVER I can not add it to my Sonos . Ive followed everything on here ...IS THERE SOMETHING IM MISSING ?????  I managed to get it to recognise my external drive as a NAS and it worked ...BUT AGAIN since the update for the Local library IM NOW UNABLE TO EVEN DO THAT ….IT USED TO BE SO SIMPLE TO ADD YOUR LIBRARY.  IM SLOWLY LOSING HOPE THAT THIS WILL EVER BE AS GOOD AS IT WAS BEFORE THID NEW APP. HEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLP

Just installed this update.  Couldn't see my system , wanted extra Bluetooth permissions on Android which I didn't allow.  Restarted, system found!However, on both iOS & Android apps Apple Music no longer displays the lossless system.  Moved the track position back & forth a few times, but still no logo.Is this yet another bug in this "update" or are we back to lossy streams from Apple Music?Thanks 

Like everyone else, I have had so many issues with the app. I was finally able to install/index my music library from iTunes. However, it unfortunately stopped working.  I called support and the reuploaded it for me. Now I get the message “UNABLE TO BROWSE MUSIC” if i click on a specific playlist, artist or song. I have called customer support twice on this issue and they just delete and reupload my music library. However, once the library is fully indexed/uploaded, I get the same message. So reuploading the music library is not the solution. If I try to access my music library from the app on my iPhone, it either won’t show my imported music library or say “error, try again” if I try to play a song from it.I have a Mac and an iPhone. Has anyone else had this issue? Any solutions?

Sonos Move suddenly stopped connecting to the network, only the white light blinks. Reset attempts do not help. In addition to Move, I also have Amp and Ikea Symfonisk on the network, all connected wirelessly. Everything worked without problems for several years.During testing, I noticed that if I turn off Amp, Move connects to the network and is visible in the application. When Amp is reconnected to power, Move stops playing music and is removed from the app. SYMFONISK is also disconnected from the network for a while.Diagnostic data ************Please help. Moderator edit: Diagnostic number recorded and removed.

Hi and PLEASE HELPSince I updated my Sonos app I‘m not able to connect to my Sonos System. My wife is still using the version before May 8th and everything runs perfect if I use her iPhone. so…. My network (WiFi) and all my Sonos Speaker are working. For 100% it is because of the app update. Is there anyone who can help or @SonosSupport… do you plan to push an update within the next days?

Hi community,After updating to the new SONOS app, the IDAGIO streaming service doesn’t continue by itself between movements in symphonic music. If the symphony have, let’s say 4 movements, you need to go to switch between them manually. Does anyone know what to do?

It seems hard to believe, but that seems to be the unanimous “rumor” here. I am hoping it’s just because the implementation in the new app immature, and that maybe some time in the future this will work again.But, could Sonos comment? Is the support for playing from a music library going away?

I just updated the Sonos app, and now Apple Music is not playing lossless anymore, at least there is no “lossless” logo showing. Before the update, I never had a problem with lossless playing.Did the new update remove lossless playback with Apple Music ?

I have 5 speakers, 2 Sonos One in different locations, and 1 Beam and 2 One SL as surrounds.I put all of them in a static IP, ranging from 192.168.2.90 to 192.168.2.94, with the Beam being .92 surrounds being .93 and .94.What I’ve noticed is that the SLs don’t appear in my router, but the Beam is jumping from .92 to .94 back and forth. I did some reading and it appears that this is treated as a cluster, or mini network on its own. I didn’t know that, nor it is apparent.How can I resolve that and set static IP addresses to all my speakers, maintaining the surroung trio?Also, I don’t know, but this might be causing the never ending “something went wrong” and need to restart my router...

I used to be able to connect to one of my Sonos Bluetooth speakers and then link the rest of them inc non Bluetooth like Sonos 5 through the app to have the full surround experience.Helpful for smaller more niche apps or Bluetooth products like my record player. With the new app update this no longer seems to work.help!

Manage drop down menu: Choose Music Library Settings: Press + Choose “another folder or drive connected to my computer” (as my music is not in “My Music Folder”)  Browse: choose folder where my music is : Users/MYNAME/ Dropbox/iTunes  Next → SONOS WAS UNABLE TO ADD THE MUSIC FOLDER, ACCESS TO THE SHARED FOLDER IS DENIED - CHECK THE USERNAME AND/OR PASSWORD I read some other posts about this problem, so I already did the following two possible fixes: System Settings: Sharing: and I turned ON File Sharing and Media Sharing  System Settings: Privacy & Security: Full Disk Access: +. and I added Sonos, so that it can access data on my Mac. Hi,I have both Roam and Move 2.  The problem I am having is finding the battery life of each of these items. My mobile (android) has the new app and I can find the battery life on this (not as good as the previous version of the app but there are enough comments on this already).  However, I use the PC (windows) version of the app to mainly control the Move 2.  However, I cannot find anywhere on the PC app version, battery life of my speakers.  Each time, I have to use the app on my mobile.  One of the problem with the new app is that it doesn’t always connect to the speakers and so I have to reload it several times whereas the PC version doesn’t suffer from this problem and seems much more stable.  However, it doesn’t appear to have the same functionality, it does all I ask of it except I can’t find out the battery life of the speakers and its a pain having to access my mobile to see the battery life.  Does anyone know how to access battery life through the PC (windows) version of the

Can you let us know when Sonos Playlist will be available in the new app?

I am experiencing problems with a large part of my Sonos system since yesterday. The issue is that both the Sonos Beam Gen 2 with Sub and the Sonos Ray have stopped working. They disappeared from the system, meaning they went offline, and are not responding. I have tried to add them back, factory reset them, and delete the entire Sonos system before adding them again. When I re-add them, Ray came online again but disappeared after a few hours. The only speaker that is still online is Era 100, which works as normal. All the products are about half a year old. I can also add that they have a good signal strength from the router, so that shouldn't be the problem. I have also tried connecting the Beam with an Ethernet cable, but that didn't work either. Has anyone experienced the same, and what is the solution?

Since the latest Sonos app update my Roam has connection issues. It shows in the app as an available speaker but an error message pops up “Unable to connect. Try again later”.All other speakers connect and play, except the Roam. 

Hi,Yesterday after turning off the television and nothing else playing, the Beam Gen2 started making crackling sounds. I powered off & on, and immediately the crackling resumed even though nothing was playing. I also noticed there was no LED when powering the Beam on.I left it powered off overnight, and this morning I have tried connecting it again. No LED, no nothing (also no crackling). I have attempted factory reset a couple times, but there is no LED at all when I connect the power.I don't see the speaker in the Airlplay device list, and the Sonos app also is not seeing the Beam anymore.Did it somehow die? Any suggestions what I else could do to fix it?

Hi, new sonos app was just installed on my android. It is a mess, half of the services won't work, can't find the other half. Design is chaotic. Had my favourite radio stations on top, now they are mixed and hidden somewhere. How do i revert to the old version?

Since Friday 6th a new update has been available for the Sonos Arc but it always fails with the error code 30 or 1000I am located in Japan and other customers from Japan seem to experience the same thing for one week without any result.Support is not helpful and I tried everything from other topics and support pageshttps://en.community.sonos.com/topic/show?tid=6897049&fid=229129https://support.sonos.com/article/error-30-when-updating-sonos# I can not update my Sonos Arc, and so I can not link back by surround speakers.Sonos support is terrible and it is a shame that simple thing as updating a device should be seamless. 

Just got the Arc and have it paired with 2 Play:1’s and a gen 3 sub. Samsung Q80R tv.  The sound from the tv will play for around 5 seconds and then cut out for around 1 second, play for 5, out for 1, on and on.  I’ve swapped out the hdmi cable twice, tried unplugging the tv, switched between PCM and DD+ and switched between different apps on the tv. The sonos app shows that I am getting an atmos signal  Was running a beam with the Play:1’s (but no sub) before just fine. Not sure what I should try next. Thank you,mike

I have just updated Sonos and it won’t play on my mobile or Mac - with the app or the online web page.I get a message saying ‘Something went wrong’.I have a party tomorrow!!!what can I do?

Today I added a Sub Mini to a pair of ERA100s and am surprised by how lackluster this speaker is. Our bedroom is quite small—about 10’x11’—and being familiar with subwoofers, I expected to hear some major bass. The Sub Mini is kind of in a corner and when I brought it out a couple of feet, didn’t hear a difference. I tried different kinds of music, including some electronic dub music that’s heavy on the bass. I also made sure one of the open areas of the speaker was facing forward.Even more surprising, when I made adjustments using the Sonos app on my iPhone, I could hear no difference at all. I turned the Sub Mini up as far as it would go, no difference. I tried to switch the phase from 0 to 180, and this button doesn’t work at all. And then when I removed the Sub Mini from the system while it was playing music, I closed my eyes and waited to hear a difference. But I could discern none. So what is going on? I’m not sure when this started, but I noticed it today. When I load a playlist from my Amazon Music account within the Sonos App, it plays ten songs and the stops with an error that there is information missing from my Amazon Account, go to music.amazon.com to fix it. I log in and everything looks fine. If I delete and re-add the service, it works again for another ten songs then stops. I am a full Amazon music subscriber, not prime or free. 

We know it’s bad, they have not provided guidance, and I can expect a few months before it’s back to ‘before the regression’ of features.  I just want to know how to install the old app. Need to move on with my life. No drama. My mistake for falling for their hype.  thanks!

Hi, as many others have also posted about the poor quality, functionality, and poor look and feel of the new App.  Clearly its not popular and has been hurried through, and/or not very well thought out from a ‘real user’ perspective.SONOS, please supply a rollback option to S2 ASAP!Also, can any other iOS users confirm that if subscribed to Spotify, then the number of Playlists appear to be limited via the new SONOS App.  I have a couple of hundred playlists in Spotify, these used to show in the S2 app with no issue, the new App only seems to show around 30 Spotify Playlists in my SONOS Playlist library.  Can anybody confirm this is an issue too?Come on SONOS, please sort this mess out ASAP!!!
