I have a Ubiquity Unifi network with a separate VLAN for my Sonos speakers. They all work perfectly fine (set on SonosNet) + a Roam on WiFi, except for the Era 100 (which is connected to ethernet with the Sonos Combo Adapter). I am unable to connect any device via AirPlay. When I move the Era back into LAN (same VLAN as other devices) it works instantly.

I’m new to any kind of smart speaker and have been given the Era 100 for my birthday. I have successfully set the speaker up using the app on my iPhone, and have added my Spotify and BBC Sounds accounts. I am having a problem with voice command: Hey Sonos responds to Spotify but not BBC Sounds. The app shows that my BBC account has been added to content and the speaker will play only live stations via the app, but Hey Sonos either tells me it can’t find the content, or plays Nigerian BBC Haus (!) or else some random music. Also, Sonos won’t tell me the weather forecast even though my iPhone shows my location settings correctly. Please can anyone suggest a fix? It’s very frustrating and disappointing! Thanks

Sometimes when the TV is NOT on, there will be a couple of seconds of audio coming from the Arc.  It happens every few days.  Any ideas?Inputs to the TV are:  Cable box;  Roku Streaming box; & Oppo BluRay player.Note:  The cable box and the Roku do not have shutdown capability via the remotes, so they usually remain powered up. 

Using my Samsung phone I connect with sonos and select Music Library. When I select songs to play a specific song sonos plays the first song in the last playlist I played. How do I exit from the previously selected playlist? 

I bought a pi zero 2 w and installed samba.  I put my music in the music folder on the SD card with the OS.  The pi zero has a static ip and the smb.conf file has ntlm=yes in the global section.  Sonos accepts the music share but all of the folders are empty (i.e. songs, artists, genres, etc).  Can someone help resolve this?  I have a Sonos one, a move, a beam and a play 1.  They all play nice with the Sonos app but the app doesn't display the music.

I connected my TV ( Philips ) to my Sonos Play Bar and Sub, works fine, but when I ad one or two extra Play ones the signal for these extra speakers is very unstable ! Somebody any tips !? 

I don’t know if I have a TV settings problem, Roku settings problem or Sonos setting problemI have an LG 65” Class C3 Series OLEDI have my Arc Ultra cabled up to the eARC port on the TV (With a new HDMI cable)My 2 HDMI devices are an NVIDIA Shield and a Roku Ultra (2024) (Both with new HDMI cables)Anytime i shut off the TV when it is on the NVIDIA Shield input and return later (the time away seems to need to be about 20+ minutes), I turn on the TV, and the Shield is displayed just fine, but when I switch the TV input to the Roku, I’ll see the Roku Screen Saver screen for a second, and then the TV shuts off.  When I turn the TV back on everything works fine.  The TV does not shut off while I am actively using it.  I can switch between Shield and Roku just fine.  Only happens when the TV has been off for some time.I’ve checked for any sleep settings on the Roku and turned them off, no sleep settings on the TV, not sure if there is anything in the Sonos ARC I can look at, but just annoyed

I have read so many complaints on the😑ir sw.  Hopefully they addressed the iPhone won’t connect easy to WiFi , if you system is growing becomes. Almost impossible to install at all.  Really whaling to see this one and purchase a system where engineers can solve their Sonos Issues which plague the valulue of money is lessened Sonos is destined to go the way of the cassette player

My app keeps requesting me to sign in as the owner of my equipment. I sign-in and it keeps saying I need to sign in. Tried resetting all the devices multiple times.

Hi I have had my sonos surround working for couple of years all of a sudden it has stopped working.My setups isTwo sonos one second generation with voice assistant Sonos subSonos Playbar I have tried and resetting each speaker several times and I can confirm they all work individually, but whenever I tried too set them up as surround sound, it doesn't connect. I have even tried it with another playback that I have and it's still the same result I am getting.I am not really sure what is going in, I have updated all the software.After the setup is completed it just shows two items in the room not connected and sonos sub not connected.

Hey.I have an old Sonos Connect:AMP which uses the old app and does not have Bluetooth.I am wondering if I can buy a Bluetooth adapter (looking at the Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter), connect it to the AMP and then connect my phone to the adapter to play music.Mostly doing this because the Sonos app does not support a music streaming app I use.Thanks for the help!

Cannot get any volume on our Beam. 

I’m wonderingWhen I arrive home, and I am listening to Apple Music or Audacy on my phone, through my headphones or car speakers: is there a simple way to shift the music to the whole house? right now, I have to open AirPlay, select one speaker, then open S2 ad scroll down to the actively playing speaker, then open the speaker list and select play-all or whole house. thats a lot of steps, for what seems to me as a common task. also whenever playing a single speaker it’s never the one on the top of the S2 speaker list, the top is always the last inactive group session which is useless since nothing is playing there. thanks

The language of the title displayed in the "Now Playing" window does not match the language shown in the list.All basic playback functions work perfectly without issue. I use Sonos app in Japanese. All my accounts settings (language and location) are configured to Japanese and Japan. When playing music from YouTube Music, the "Now Playing" screen displays track titles in English, even if the original titles are in Japanese. This issue does not occur with other music services. For example, Japanese titles are displayed correctly in Japanese when using Amazon Music. Restarting and reconnecting the services did not resolve the issue.While this is not a critical problem, it is a bit inconvenient. This is a minor issue, but I thought it might be worth asking here. I keep my iPhone, Spotify app and Sonos apps and devices updated. But my Sonos system has, time and again, shown itself to simply be not up to the job of streaming Spotify or podcasts reliably from my iPhone. I constantly move between Bluetooth and AirPlay, but a single move between them usually confuses the system and produces a glitch which takes time to resolve. Glitches include:  * losing connection if a song is paused for more than 10 seconds   * delay between speakers   * if I send to too many speakers at once, it fails, need to do it slowly one speaker at a timeMost often of all…  * looks like it’s playing on my phone, at volume, through any of my speakers, but can’t hear anything Very often I have to switch my phone off and on again and completely start again. Hi there,I am currently struggling with one Sonos speaker that keeps “disappearing” from my system due to, I think, weak WiFi connection where it is. I am considering upgrading to Sky Max WiFi for their WiFi guarantee of at least 25mbps in each room. The small print says if the WiFi doesn’t reach a room I will be sent a Sky Max Pod. I can’t work out if this is a mesh or an extender. If it’s an extender, won’t this make my problem worse? Has anyone experience of Sonos and Sky Max Pods?many thanks,

I have a Sonos One SL, it worked until the last week or so when it completely stopped responding.I’ve done a factory reset, removed and reinstalled apps, reset everything I can reset and it’s stuck in the Error Code 1000 loop.The support documentation says it’s a timeout error but the error occurs instantly when requesting a check for updates.I’ve seen plenty of posts about but the only solution I’ve found that comes close to resolving it is to throw it in the bin and get something other than a Sonos.

Sonos Roam used to work seamlessly, but some months ago, I started having issues connecting to it from my laptop. Immediately after connecting it would just disconnect. Not sure why but it renders it unusable for when I need it to connect to my laptop.

When watching movies the noise and music is way too loud relative to the dialogue. I have enhanced speech dialogue on as well as night mode and ambient mode. I’ve tried lowering the max volume and then I just can’t hear the dialogue. I’ve also lowered the bass all the way. Any suggestions? I have the play bar and Sonos one speakers 

Good morning! I have a 75" TV, a mini sub and an arc ultra in my room. All that equipment that I mentioned is in front of my bed. Now I bought 2, it was 300 to put them on the dry wall of my bed about 3' away From my head, the rasks I bought for the wall are annoying. My question is whether the 2 era 300s have to face the wall where the TV, arc ultra and sub mini or in direction to my head?

My Sons Ace no longer activates Siri. It’s not an issue with my phone as have now replaced my phone to a new iPhone 16 and the issue remains. Long pressing the sound control button on the ace does nothing. I’ve spent ages on with Sonos customer services (who were trying to be helpful to be fair) but to no avail. Hi,I have a 36-square-meter living room.I currently own 2 Era 300s. To me, they lack bass punch. Initially, I wanted to return them, but I missed the return window, so I bought a Sub Mini to address the bass issue. The sound is good, but unfortunately, I don’t like how the Sub Mini looks in my living room. The optimal placement for the sub makes it very visible, and it looks like a small trash can to me (and to my wife). I’m considering returning the Sub Mini and selling the 300s to get a pair of Fives, which, based on what I’ve read, don’t need a subwoofer to deliver good bass and punchy sound. Here’s my question: Will a pair of Fives without a sub sound as good as or better than a pair of 300s for stereo music? I don’t listen to Atmos music.Will the difference be noticeable? If you could rate the sound quality of a pair of 300s at 100%, how much would you rate the Fives? Thanks!

Hi, I’ve been using Sonos for over 10 years with no problem, over the past 6 months I’ve been experiencing drop off from a pair of Sonos 1.  In the room affected I have 3 Sonos 1 and a hard wired Sonos boost, to try and resolve issues  ive reset both speakers back to factory, added a boost, upgraded my internet package to 500 meg had Sonos support dial in multiple times and checked all I.p addresses, no conflicts.  Weirdly the other speaker in the room isn’t affected, does anyone have a clue?This is literally last chance before I remove the system all together.
