I have this device from CORSAHD: https://a.co/d/5o6AZirIt works great with my bedroom LG TV that does not have eArc and my Sonos Arc. It also has four HDMI In ports so you don’t need a separate splitter like you do with the Arcana. Lossless Dolby Atmos passes to the Arc just fine. The one issue I’m having is with any DTS-HD track. It converts every DTS-HD track to lossy DTS Surround. DTS-HD 2.0 becomes DTS Surround 2.0. DTS-HD 5.1 and 7.1 both become DTS Surround 5.1. When I tried changing my Blu-ray player from Auto to PCM, I just got stereo PCM for DTS-HD 5.1 and 7.1 tracks. I can’t find a way to get Multichannel PCM 7.1 like I can when using TV with eArc. I don’t think changing any settings on the TV should matter because I’m sending the audio directly to the Sonos Arc. The CORSAHD device should just be passing through audio, so I’m not sure why I would not get Multichannel PCM. Any ideas? 

Why is my android app Sonos app kept forgeting its system.

I have just updated my home network and introduced access points which gives me great wifi coverage and speeds. Can I put my Sonos devices on a dedicated vlan and remove my boost without causing issues. i.e. my mobile device will be on a different vlan will the app still work

Hi, just set up a new LG OLED C4 with my new Beam gen 2.when I configured system initially it didn’t work (just Beam and Sub) until I spotted in Sonos app beam needed to connect to tv. I then added 2 x play 1 as surround speakers. Now the eARC hdmi on TV is not being seen by the Beam.  any suggestions?

Hi Everyone, My surround sound system is not working when tv is first turned on. The work around is to unplug the TV after it has been turned and plug it back and only then the surround sound would work. I have changed HDMI  a couple time, problem persist. Also, I would ensure that the output is set correctly. The surround sound works fine with music from when using the Sonos app.  I have two Era 300, two subwoofers gen 4, and one arc ultra.  Thanks.  

Can we have a S2 app complete rollback? At first, S2 was working for me just fine when the Upgrade happened, but then it was getting worst and worst everytime, now it works really bad, Music plays for 7 seconds or less and then skips the song and plays the 7 seconds or less and ends stopping at the third attempt… never had issues like this with the sonos apps, S1 works much better than S2, I have both, my S2 speakers are wired, so I don’t know what is going on… so, please!! Can we have the S2 complete Rollback???

I have a simple setup, 2 Sonos Ones as a stereo pair in my home office. I frequently have issues with the system not being found, or one speaker dropping out, meaning a frustrating time resetting, rebooting and trying to reconnect. Today, the app can’t find a Sonos system - I’ve added each speaker several times without any issue being reported in setup (speakers chime and seemingly connect). I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled. I can press play on the speaker itself and it plays the last thing I was listening to. Nothing has changed on the home network, wifi strength is good, everything else has remained connected without problem.I really want to like my Sonos system, but these repeated connectivity issues are just ridiculous. I shouldn’t have to regularly spend hours trying to identify where the problem is and set up the system up again.

I create Apple playlists on my computer, going to the Apple service in Sonos on the computer they don’t show up. Also on my phone they don’t show up. If I create the playlist from my phone in Apple Music they will sometimes show up. I’ve long given up on using the Sonos library on my computer.

Hi guys I have the Beam Gen 2, Sub Mini and 2 Sonos Era 300 as my surround system. I added a turntable lined to Era 100.  Tv autoplay is set up as Ungroup on Autoplay so the Era 100 connected to the turntable will not be included when I use the tv.  Now i noticed that when I stopped using the tv and play the turntable with the Era 100 lined in, it doesn’t automatically connect again to that group (surround system+era100).  Any tips would be highly appreciated. Hi,I am trying to use my roam 2 Sonos as external speaker to my Windows PC, however, I cannot connect to my sonos device as it is not showing up on my bluetooth. I am able to connect my roam 2 to my Macbook AIR and use it as external speaker and it works to my Iphone as well. How can I fix this issue to my Windows PC?

I updated my SONOS to Build 82259204 Yesterday.  Now, I can’t access SONOS due to issues with firewall configuration.  I have checked and SONOS is set to allow all incoming traffic. Any ideas on what the issue may be?  Running on Sequoia 15.2.

Hello!Is the Sub 4 supposed to show more details where the red circle is? I had a sub mini before that showed the details of the device, but for some reason it’s not showing with the sub 4. Any help would be appreciated!    

Hi all.As with other posts of this nature, I am also experiencing issues with different volume levels of the Era 300 surrounds after Trueplay tuning.I have an Arc Ultra with 2 x Era 300’s and a Sub Gen 4. All of which sound excellent - especially with Trueplay enabled.However….I have tried all of the usual techniques to try and mitigate this volume issue - but so far, the situation has not improved. It’s always the left side of the acoustic that’s always louder.I am using the latest software and hardware firmware (as of 14/03/25).To be clear, the sound levels of the surrounds are fine without Trueplay enabled or configured.I have also tried swapping the rear speakers around and re-configuring (to see if it’s a hardware issue) but still the same result keeps occurring.So with this in mind, I have the following questions:is it possible to send Sonos techs diagnostics of before and after Trueplay calibration to see if there is an issue here? after Trueplay is enabled, it is impossible to

Hi,I bought two move 2s with the idea to have them as a stereo pair when watching movies, and two individual speakers that can be moved around the house when listening to music. Never having owned Sonos speakers before, I had read about the groups in the app and assumed that I could just assign them to two different groups, one as stereo pair and one as individual speakers (e.g. room 1: “stereo”, room 2: “mobile”).But now that they're stereo paired, I can't see them individually anymore in the groups section.Is this type of use not possible, or am I missing a step?And if it's not possible yet, can we please make it so? I think it would be a very useful feature.Thanks in advance for helping :)

Hello, it’s me.  Sonos, not Sinis :-( I have an IoT network, my secure network routes to the IoT network but firewall rules prevent access from IoT network to secure net other than established or related.  Can I put Sonos on my IoT network and connect and use it from my secure network?  I was pretty sure I did that yesterday, moved Sonos to the IoT network from secure as I finally got firewall rules working the way I want and all seemed well, but today I went to add a new Sonos device and it said Sonos was on secure network.  So, I seem to remember Sonos didn’t like being on a connected routed segment?  Is that right or no?tanks.

So I have a strange one. I have added my remote control to my playbar by doing the remote control setup.it learns my remote volume and mute buttons successfully. In fact it successfully recognises my remote just by pressing volume up.Once setup is complete when I press volume up, it doesn’t work. No indicator light, nothing. Even through it successfully just learned the remote. Weirdly, volume down works fine.I have even used other random remotes and taught it random buttons for vol up, vol down and mute. And it accepts and learns them fine. But again, when I actually press the exact volume up button after successful completion it doesn’t work. Any ideas?

I have two sonance architechural outdoor 6.1 sets powered by 2 seperate sonos amps and have now added an outdoor tv. I would like to use both amps for the tv. It has an Arc hdmi out on the tv which I have spit to the two amps but I don't seem to be able to get sound. any ideas. tv is set to arc ou

I've noticed that the 'PPreviousand next Song' button on Sonos Ace isn't working. It doesn't respond when I try to use it. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and are there any solutions or workarounds? Thanks in advance for your help!"
