My Beam 2 gen is about 3 years old. So far it has been working ok. Imhabe a Samsung TV and I use a Logitech universal remote, to control the volume on the Sonos.
we have had some outages on the network connection. I now having 2 issues.
- i can’t get any status lights, eventhough i swith the lights on with the App. (Ipad)
- the remote is not working, sort of. I have reprogrammed the remote, as I first thought that it was no longer functioning. What i see is that using the remote, actually changes the the volume in the App, but it does not change the volume on the Beam. If I use the App, to change the volume it works fine.
-Does the Beam an infrared sensor, that receives the command from the Remote control, that may be damaged?
-May a factory reset solve both problems. If so, how is that performed?
