For weeks my app is saying that i have to login as system owner. I am the actual owner but i’m unable to do so :(Everytime i’m trying to login, i end up with a blank screen and there i can’t do anything.Next option is to ‘open in chrome’  but then, after filling in my user & Pass, it reverts back to the same blank page, only with an extra: ‘Something went wrong’Why is this happening? I just want to make some simple changes in the system settings, or just listen to Sonos-radio….  I’m working on an Iphone 12 mini, with newest software version. I have already reinstalled the app, resetted the app etc etc.  

Can the era 300 plays in Dolby atmos when paired in stereo?

If I plug my headphones into my PC, I can hear music coming through my music library. However, the songs from my music library transferred to Sonos only played through my speakers. I want to know how I can listen to my Sonos tunes through headphones on my Sonos app.Do I have to purchase special headphones for this purpose? I already have a set of wired Sennheiser earbud headphones that plug directly into the 3.5 mm jack connection on my PC. Will these not work when listening to Sonos tracks? I have 2 rooms that have Sonos equipment in them. However, it is only one room. I want to use headphones for. In that room, I Have a Sonos Bar, 2 Sonos Play Ones and a Sonos Sub.When playing a Sonos list with the cross-fade on, each track will mingle into the next track with no pausing between the previous tracks, stopping first. Is there a way I can listen to Sonos through headphones and listen to a Sonos list with the cross-fade on? Sorry, I’m not an expert at this. Can I use my SONOS app on windows to play music from my local audio folder, on the desktop, to my beam?And/or to my airplay enabled Denon receiver?i tried to drag an audio folder into the app but seemingly it doesn’t allow that step.Admittedly I may be missing a step,

We have two Sonos Ones; one in my partners office and one in my craft room. At present they are in the same system. When we want to play different media in our respective rooms, I can play what I want, but as soon as my partner picks something, it stops my Sonos from playing because he has selected his device. We don’t have a stereo pair set nor are they in a group.Is it possible to set up each device in a separate system so we don’t keep ‘overwriting’ our play preferences. I am trying to improve my system (Beam-1, 2 Sonos One surround speakers, mini-Sub) by connecting my beam to my home router with an Ethernet cable and using SONOSNET to wirelessly connect to the sun & surround speakers. Yes, I also suffer from the random sound drop-outs!!I have looked up the “About My System” page on the “General Setting’ option, hoping to confirm that my system is using the WM-0  connection protocol (for SONOSNET connection), but the line of text showing WM status (which should appear under the IP Address line) is missing on my “About My System” page.Has anyone else had this issue?

Subject: YouTube Sound Difference: Phone vs. TV (Arc, Sub, and Fives)Hi everyone,I have a Sonos setup with an Arc, Sub, and a pair of Five speakers, and I’ve noticed a big difference in sound when playing YouTube through my phone versus my TV. When I play YouTube from my phone (casting or AirPlaying to Sonos), the music sounds much quieter, and it feels like I’m not getting the full range of sound. When I play YouTube on my TV, the Fives seem to only output ambient/background sound, while the Arc and Sub are more prominent. I also noticed that when playing from my phone, changing the "Full" or "Ambient" setting in the Sonos app actually makes a difference—if set to "Full," the speakers play much better. But when playing from the TV, switching between "Full" and "Ambient" doesn't seem to change anything.Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a setting I might be missing to get a more balanced sound across all speakers when using YouTube on TV?Thanks!

Are there different gens with the newer Sonos five….. I’ve seen black units with a while logo and I’ve seen black units with a black logo, are these units different hardware wise or is it purely cosmetic

In the before times I liked using the Recently Played list to help me quickly get back to something I listened to recently. The new app only shows music from my services but not from my Music Library.  Is this on anyone’s list to fix?  Is there anything I can do to get that feature back?  Thanks for taking a look at this.

My Sonos Move One doesn’t want to charge anymore. I called the assistant centre, they will change the charge base. But today the sonos move tower shown only the micro white light. When I press the On button nothing happens. I don’t know what to do . Is someone had this kind of problem ? What can I do to make my Sonos work ? Thanks very much for your help.

I have a Bose SoundTouch Airplay (first generation speaker). I can group all my Sonos speakers except the Era 300 using Airplay from a current Mac running Apple Music.  The Bose and other speakers will play but the Era 300 will not. If I drop the Bose Soundtouch off, then the Era 300 will play music. This used to work. The Era 300 used to play nice. So I feel like this is an Era 300 firmware problem. I’ve set routers and power cycled and the like.

Hi. My Sonos 1 and 5 are connected on the Google Home device list and Sonos is a linked service. Recently I cannot use Google voice commands to start any services on my Sonos devices - it just defaults to playing on the Google device I asked to perform the action. If I go into the Sonos app and play something I can then pause/volume change etc via the Google Home app no problem. Is this a Google or Sonos issue? (I’ve rebooted all my devices/router etc. unlinked/linked everything but the problem still persists)

I cut my DirectTV cable a few months ago and have been streaming Video. I have my TV’s connected to SONOS Soundbars along with surounds everthing works great. In the past it has been shut off the TV turn on dinner music. Tonight rather than listen to my playlists I selected Pandora, Amazon is there too. Sorry this is on my Apple TV. It is easy to just select pick what you want and also sounds great. However it only plays on the SONOS products connected to the TV. Most of the searches for how to play SONOS on your TV deal with connecting your speakers to the TV directly or ith AirPlay. I want to see the SONOS App on my APPLE TV scren. I can then select where and what music to plqy via my Hardware Apple TV. I can do it with my phone or laptop. i know that SONOS and Apple had a deal together awhile ago and I am aware of Apple Music which I do not subscribe to.  Just asking if and how to do this? Also I saw Orto for SONOS that claims to do this but have no further informatin on it. Thanks

Har netop oprettet en Spotify konto (free) for at prøve det af, men jeg mangler som sagt min playliste. Alle aps er opdaterede med sidste versioner. Moderator Note: Google Translate- Why can't I see my Spotify playlist in Sonos (S2)? I subscribe to Tidal without any problems. I just created a Spotify account (free) to try it out, but as I said, I'm missing my playlist. All apps are updated with the latest versions.

Is firmware updated automatically?

I use both Sonos 1 and 2 apps depending upon equipment played.  The Sonos 1 app sorts albums in the music library.  The Sonos 2 app sorts albums based upon artist.  The problem is that any album containing different artists for different tracks causes multiple listing of the same album in the music library - once for each track with different artists.  I have a multi-disc set with over over 100 tracks, each with a different artist.  As a result, there are 100 listings of the album in the music library when viewing the list of albums (In the Sonos 1 app, there is only one listing of this album).  Is there any way to get the Sonos 2 app to sort in the same way as the Sonos 1 app?

I've been trying to get this thing added for days and nothing works. I've done reset after reset. Tried physically connecting it through Ethernet (I'm tech savvy, I have gigabit Internet with a solid router). I can get the setup to find the sub and begin the process of adding it. When I lay my phone on top of it, it recognizes it. Then, it's just stuck on this with no end in sight. The two times it's gotten past this, it asks me for my WiFi password and then failed to connect. I tried both my 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz SSIDs. Sonos, what gives?! 

I have a worrying problem here - since yesterday, I have only been able to get sound via Airplay (very important for how I listen to music) in my Hallway (Symfonisk bookshelf), Bedroom (2x Symfonisk lamps),and Sonos Roam. ALL of them are wired via ethernet (except Roam).My other speakers are Kitchen (2x Play:1), Shower Room (Play:1) and Living Room (Sonos Connect: AMP Gen 2 into stereo).   All Ethernet wired.  I simply cannot get any sound from any of these, but yesterday they were completely fine.  When I connect to Airplay the usual way, the Sonos app displays that there are selected, but there is simply no audio coming through.  Surely an update can’t have killed these older speakers for me in an instant?When I transmit audio from within the Sonos app itself, every speaker is reached as normal.  However I NEVER use the app - I’m completely dependant on Apple’s music app for local files and playlists.  I need to broadcast via Airplay.  It’s like all three of them have just decided to

Living Room contains Amp/in-ceiling speakers, Sub & Arc via HDMI (eArc/Arc). Is there a setting so I can watch TV video & have Sonos audio playing? Have same setting question for Beam (eArc/Arc) configuration.Can’t find product versions, but system was installed May 2023.Thanks

My status lights are turned off in my app, but they seem to be on on my speaker. Any suggestions?

Hi there.  My Arc is connected to the HMDI ARC on my tv, but no matter hwat i’ve tried i cannot get it to output 5.1.  Netflix/prime/tv etc. Sound works fine but the app keeps saying its playing in stereo.  I have tried using the optical adapter as well - same issue. the DD option in the TV menu is greyed out and “PCM”  is the only option I can use.  I’ve even tried using an hdmi switcher which changed nothing.  TV and Arc and the app are all on their latest software version.  Tried multiple HDMI cables, sources, etc.  Thoughts?

I am so disappointed by the fact that I can’t have a single system (fitting my apartment size) that allow me to take full advantage of both home theatre as well as music playing capabilities of the devices I own.I would argue creating a toggle shutting down the soundbar is doable in this time and age, but from what I have read in the forums. It clearly is not. having gone over a vast number of threads these solutions seem like an amazing option to create an alternative for those of us who either for financial is logistical reasons cannot afford to keep additional 2 or more speakers at home.Please, consider this an upvote to what’s most likely has already been posted.
