I think at this point, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, they get sensitive about GDPR.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

Hmmm. I think before submitting that diagnostic, I would double check in the controller that both all devices have a current update of the Sonos firmware. If there’s no update for one or the ipother, then I’d submit that diagnostic.

Which is why I’d double check. Sometimes (although most of the time, it seems to be my Roam, which is ‘sleeping’), it misses one. Although they may have fixed that issue, it’s been a while since I ran into that issue. Certainly doesn’t take much time to double check, before submitting and calling in.
