After almost two years, I suddenly lost the wifi connection to my Sonos Beam. I have tried restarting the router and factory resetting the Beam. When trying to reconnect the Beam, it is unable to find my wifi network. I understand this might sound like a 2.4/5.0 Ghz issue, but I have another Sonos Beam in the house that I am not having any issues with. Furthermore, I haven’t made any changes to the wifi settings on my router and don’t know why this would suddenly become an issue. During setup, the app does list other wifi networks in the neighbourhodd, but cannot see mine.

Maybe you have a hardware fault? I think the best way forward to ‘perhaps’ discover these type of things, is to wire the speaker to the LAN and when it’s setup/appears in the App, immediately submit a Sonos system diagnostic report from within the Sonos App, note it’s reference and contact/chat with Sonos Support Staff via this LINK and see if they can ascertain if there is a hardware problem or can assist you to resolve the matter.

Thanks, I’ll give that a go. Even after band splitting my wifi, the app still didn’t see my 2.4G network. It’s a puzzle to me how it can see all the other ones in the neighbourhood that are in range.

Same issue lost all my Sonos speakers because can’t connect to my WiFi. They are thousands of dollars lost.

What did Sonos Support say, when you called them directly to discuss it?
