I currently have a play bar which will be replaced tomorrow with the arc I have gen2 sub2x rear play 3.  After reading the play 3.  R now old should they be replaced if so with what.  ty

Got my Arc 2 weeks ago.. after about 2 hours of tv the sound starts distorting, a tick sound every few seconds plus tv sound goes for a fraction of a second.. pause the tv & tick sound continuous… so this must be the Arc not the signal.. I’m using optical as the arc hdmi didn’t work when I set it up, plus the previous speaker was on optical & never had any problems…I’m really p’d off as I waited a long time for my Arc & Sonos customer service is nonexistent….Any advise appreciated…

HiDoes Sonos have different ”settings” for sound when the source of sound is different?When I stream music (stereo) from my Plex server (24/48) the music sounds fuller than when I burn the same music to bluray disc and play it from there. When playing from bluray the surround speakers do not play with same level as when streaming from Plex. Also the user interface on ios app is different - the enhance speech option is available. From the app I can see that Sonos receives TrueHD stereo from bluray so sound is not degraded somewhere in the middle. 

Sonos Beam will not connect to my system. I did a factory reset on the Beam, attached to router with a cable . It gets recognized. I then unplug the Ethernet cable and it doesn't connect. I have 3 Moves, 1 playbar, sonos 1 and a Era 100. No issues with them. Just the Beam

Good afternoon all New to Sonos, I’ve got an Arc and I’ve got it working with Sky Q and arc connects to HDMI 3 eArc input .. Sky is on HDMI 2 and Blu Ray HDMI 4 … sounds ok on Sky but no sound at all on Blu Ray.  I’ve ensured that Blu Ray is on same network as Arc .. looked at settings on Blu Ray (Sony BDP-S790)  .. can’t find anything more I can do .. any help appreciate here please  

My Beam 2 is only outputting as Stereo PCM and not Dolby Atmos. I’ve been through numerous discussions/instructions to find out why but drawing blanks. I have a PS5 and Sky Stream and have the Beam 2 in the HDMI arc (2) slot. My tv is an LG Oled55c7v.  Key settings - outputting to hdmi/optical set as auto and on. What am I doing wrong?

Hey all,Wondering about the 300 placement and would appreciate help:- I understand I need 20.5 cm distance from sides.- I understand I need to place them upside down, and not tilt them towards the couch.Would placing them where I marked help me fulfill their capabilities to the fullest if I'll follow the above suggestions?Note that I won't put them on the wall right behind the couch as I won't run cables on the wall. Also, floor stands are not an option. Thanks,Alon

I’ve added sub (gen2) recently to my existing Sonos system (playbar, 2X play1) and I don't hear or very little bass from sub if I set the sub setting to +7 and more.I have gone through the posts/questions here and none of the solutions provided, worked for me. Things I tried.factory resetting the sub and adding it to system multiple times trueplay active and without trueplay changing sub placement (playbar and sub are always placed very closely) restarting the playbar removing the surround sound and adding it again connecting playbar to LAN cable connecting sub to LAN cableThe sub is equally bad when playing music from Sonos app and from TV.What else can I do? any help would be appreciated. 

Hello,Im new to sonos. I did all the search in this ask question before posting. I have epson Ls12000 projector with eArc - I have 100ft fiber hdmi cable running to sonos arc up front as center speaker. I got 2 sonos subs and a sonos amp for in ceiling speakers. The only issue im having is when i tie everything together. Sonos amp does not have white light and in ceiling speakers are not working. Arc and sub works fine. Sonos Amp is connected via ethernet cable. All 4 in ceiling speakers are hardwired to sonos amp. I can pause and play when i tap on amp or turn up or down volume on amp. Just that white light is not on but amp is functional as i can pause or play on it. I have tried to reset amp, arc and sub multiple times and every time i tie everything together i have the same issue. Not sure what am i doing wrong. I have also looked at trouble shooting tip section for amp but no luck.  Thank you and sorry for my grammar.

When I put a jack headphones into tv out, soundbar is disconnected.Problem is that I hace jack tv out connected to my vibratoon system.....any idea?

I have ripped all my CDs and put the digital music on my phone.  But how do I cast the music on my phone to my Bean Gen 2

I have a ZP120 can I use it as surround speakers for a new Beam Gen2?  Thinking I might have issues with control as ZP is still S1 and beam gen2 is S2 only.  Anyway to make it work?

Hello ! I own a sonos one at the moment.I am planning on buying a sonos Ray for my PC set up. I will be able to connect the ray soundbar to my pc through a tosslink optical cable streaming that way my computer sound.My question however is the following :Will I be able to pair my sonos ray to my sonos one and therefore listen to local file music being played on my PC on my sonos one through the sonos ray ?

Hi, I have a ARC and Sub Gen 3 in 15.2 version. In the past I have informed that error occurence when I changed in network router, it is able to finally update with existing Ipad, luckily… Currently I also tried to update to newer version with Iphone 11 of latest IOS. However it cannot update and shown error 30 SUB.. Anyone have advises how to update with Iphone also. 

As in the topic , I am being torn with buying arc and two 300’s . I can buy them for 1250£ for all 3 and really not sure if it's worth upgrading beam 2 and 2 sls.Anyone who has similar situation and now use new speakers could give me some help and feedback ?Thank you P.s: had them in the checkout like 20tikes now and can't decide on the purchase

Hi,I have a QLED TV and Sonos Playbase, connected via optical cable.  I also have a Sony 4K DVD player connected.  I want to be able to watch camcorder films by connecting FireWire cable and watching on TV withSonos playbase.  Can anyone advise how I can do this? Is there a type of optical/firewire adapter? Thanks lots.

I saw a video where someone used a 300's in a stereo set up along side an arc system (subs and rears) and mentioned it was okay and did provide more wider channels.  Has others tried this?  Does it "work" as a work around? I assume you'll lose some precision from the arc but would you gain wider channels? 

Hey guys, I've got a problem.Sonos playbar with 2 Sonos SL. Worked beautifully without problems for 2 months.Now, it only plays TV if I power cycle it. It still plays music from internet, I can access it fully, I can change the input to TV, but there is no sounds from TV. After power cycle back to full functionality. But after every time I switch off the TV I have to restart the sound system. Wtf? :)

Hello, I will try to expose my problem, I have a router asus RT ax88u Pro with beta firmware that allows to create a pro guest network (see screenshot) .I have a sonos beam (gen 2) and 2 sonos one in surround . And when I activate the guest network (VLAN) the Sonos One in surround does not reconnect to the wifi network and no longer works and when I disable this guest network all work again. On the other hand the sonos beam works in my 2 cases. I also have a Sonos Play 3 in another room that also works when the guest network is enabled.I am French so sorry for this translation. 

My play bar from 2018 has been cutting out. I suspect it's overheating because the longer I unplug it, the longer it runs again after being plugged back in.Does anyone have any suggestions on causes or how to repair it?Another possibility, but I don't know if it has a temperature sensor somewhere, might be faulty temperature reading.

One of my Beams stopped responding to my IR remote, tried a second remote, tried turning off all the lights too, still no joy.Both remotes work fine when a spare Beam is configured to use them.Can’t reconfigure the problem Beam as it sees neither remote in the setup steps.Took a while but I found this old topic and a quick power cycle got it working again.I’ll watch for this and if it happens I’ll submit some diagnostics.Old topic: 

Hi guys,I wonder if it’s possible combine a Devialet Dione Soundbar with 2 Sonos ERA 300 in the front and a Sonos Sub 3Gen. I have a Denon AMP pretty new and 2 bookshelf speakers what i would like to use as a rear sorrounds.Is It possible integrate this or have such a configuration with Sonos Port or Amp???Thank UJoanC

Our arc volume has suddenly decided to slide up to max and it can only be held at a lower place by sliding it back on the phone screen and holding it there. Take your thumb off and it slides right back up. On the tv screen the + sign is jiggling up and down. Turning the system off then back on hasn’t helped. Adjusting by tapping the arc sound bar volume controls directly doesn’t hold it either.Has this happened to anyone else?

Hello,I bought a new LG OLED C2 (OLED65C2PUA, 2022) and new Sonos products including the Arc+Sub+One SLs, and a Beam (Gen 2) for another room. The firmware for all the products have been updated to the latest version.However, I noticed that there would not be any sound with eARC enabled, and while there would be sound with eARC disabled, it would skip every other second. This happens whether with the Arc or Beam. The only time it would not skip is when I turn on PCM, but PCM has no Dolby Atmos or surround sound capability.I have followed every advice I could find, including ensuring that SIMPLINK is enabled, ensuring passthrough is enabled, disconnecting and reconnecting the sound bar (I don’t have any other HDMI devices), and even factory-resetting the TV.I’m at the point where I think the TV is the problem, and I realize that the community’s experience with LG TVs have been spotty. I’m a step away from initiating a return of the TV to Amazon. But before
