Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Bonjour, depuis quelques temps difficile voir impossible de connecter Sonos à Napster. J’ai déconnecte ma sonos puis réinstaller avec un mise jour, déconnectée Napster puis reconnectée et re autoriser et toujours pareil. Point d’exclamation rouge sur l’onglet Napster lors d’une recherche. Je trouve bien l’artiste, album, playlist. Mais aucune liste affiche une fois sur l’artiste/album sélectionnée. Un message d’erreur « une erreur est survenu, essayer à nouveau » Merci de votre aide 

Eight months ago ,there was an update for S1 Sonos app .This caused two play 5 gen 1 to have totally distorted sound.I could not use them .During the many months ,I did keep trying them ,but sound still distorted,so again ,I could not use them .The app was on my android phone .Today I tried again ,but no good .By chance I decided to access the app S1 on my apple I pad and it said there is an update.Obviously I retried it and was amazed that I now have no distorted sound on both speakers I wish SONOS would pay attention to this neglected S1 app .There has been so many problems with SONOS ,but I’m a loyal customer and want this company ,to get back ,to where it was ,in the market place

Sonos really need to sort out their app. I have a very simple setup: 2 sonos era100 downstairs & 1 roam2 upstairs. App never works smoothly controlling upstairs, downstairs, & whole house. Never works first time when roam2 timed out and reconnect. It's a rubbish app.

I have a 2x Sonos One stereo paired working with a Beam under my TV.I’d like to dig out my CD collection again and need some form of physical connection between the player & a speaker. Not wanting to break the bank, I’m looking at a refurbished Sonos Five for this connection - my question is can I set the Five up with the 2x Ones acting as a (new) stereo pair just when I want to play CDs? Do I need to set this up as a new room? Thanks all,JB

I have an indoor arc/sub for our entertainment system. I’m getting an outdoor projector for outdoor movies and would like to use Sonos speakers that connect indoors as well. What’s the best set up for outdoor speakers that connect indoors but can also be used with an outdoor projector? The outdoor projector will be portable so  no it can be used in different locations in the yard.

I know this question has been asked before but it has never been satisfactorily answered. I have 2 x Sonos Boost, one attached to my router and one upstairs to help signal to distant speakers.  The Boosts disappeared from the App after the big controversial update last year. They also don't appear in my "System Info" list.All I want to know is if the Boosts are doing anything at all?! Or am I just wasting electricity? Or if I need to reconnect them somehow?This is a simple yes or no question, and I'd appreciate if someone from Sonos could answer it instead of just some random conjecture. I will also note that I have a Sonos Port attached to my record player and my Wifi Router. I understand this also functions like a Boost. The Port works fine.

The Sonos isn't working, but the LED flashes white every 10 seconds. It doesn't seem to fully boot up, and after 10 seconds it reboots.As ukpicasso and Timc995 when injet voltage then power ON    After testing, I can measure 14.5v to 13.10volts at the injection points and the same voltage at the green points, with no more power than this board, that is, with the ribbon cable disconnected. When connecting the second board with the ribbon cable, power consumption increases and the voltage drops to 5V - 0V, so the device restarts, entering the cycle I explained at the beginning. With the 24V injection, everything works at 100%.Does anyone know what could be wrong with keeping

I have had issues for as long as can remember with music, specifically Spotify, cutting out when switching songs or starting music. The sound would come on one speaker and take around 20 seconds to reach all of my other speakers. Very annoying. Well, I wired a single Sonos One directly to my router and turned the wifi off on that speaker. That solved the entire issue. No music ever cuts out or lags now. I think the key was turning off the WiFi on that speaker because I’ve had speakers wired before but always had that issue. Hope this helps anyone else out there with a similar issue. 

5 play ones all show in system, none connect to sonos1 anymore, on any device and 2 phones. Immediately goes to play store for update app. Can not get them to connect to Sonos s1 and can not find s2 help. I have 5 expensive bricks right now. Not happy. Was on phone with Sonos tech about an hour yesterday. They told me a new Sonos 1 app will be out in a few days, the one on my phone was released in July of this year. I just want them connected. 

I'm a long time owner of Playbar and two play one speakers. They have been a very good surround system. I finally decided to complete the system with a base sub. Wanting the best hardware I bought the newest version, the sub 4.I set it up with the app and found out it was not compatible with my old hardware.All these products are connected via Wi-Fi and Sonos has decided that they don't want us to use the sub 4 with my old hardware. I'm sure this is a way to get us to buy new hardware where it is not needed. Backward compatibility is a good business model for the uses. They have decided they don't care about that, they want more money. DON'T BUY SONOS.Yes, I contacted tech support, their answer is send the sub 4 back and get the older sub.

Please tell me ,if it is possible to connect a sub mini or sub 4 to a Sonos Amp wirelessly, or is it necessary for the Sub Mini and Sub 4  and the Sonos Amp to be connected with an Ethernet cable?

Unable to reconnect Sonos. Only if Ethernet cable is used. Otherwise app doesn't find device.

I have a Samsung TV - model number UE 50 MU6120 - I’ve had the beam connected to this for a number of years. It’s recently lost connection between the TV and the speaker - I’ve tried resetting the unit and running through the set up process again I get one of three errors I) “ARC connection not working” or ii ) “devices on the network are interfering with the ARC connection” or iii) “switch on ARC mode” when I try to set the expert settings - there’s nothing available saying ‘ARC’ or ‘CEC’ mode. The best I have is ‘HDMI input audio format’ saying whether you want to have it as ‘PCM’ or ‘bitstream’. Neither options work I’ve disconnected all other devices connected to the TV (removed the Roku stick, unplugged the DVD player) and removed all external device connections from the TV. Here is my current setup:Sony STR-DN1050 7.1 Receiver connected to in-ceiling (non-SONOS) speakers and sub. HDMI cable from Cable Box to Receiver. SONOS Connect as a line in to Receiver.Receiver and Cable Box are installed remotely in a closet.This works ok, but in order to listen to SONOS on my speakers, I have to turn the Receiver on and select the SONOS input.  I haven’t found a capability of doing that on my phone, which means I either have to control the receiver through my TV, which is finicky at best, or go to the closet to change the input.  Obviously, this is not ideal.  Also, it means that anytime I want to listen to SONOS, I can’t also watch TV as that comes through my receiver.I would prefer not to buy any new equipment, so with what I have, does anyone have any better ideas for how I can use my existing speakers for 7.1 surround sound, but also use them for SONOS without the above limitations?If the answer

My Sub Gen 2 wont turn on, no lights, nothing. I’d like to replace it but it doesnt seem the Gen 4 is compatible with the rest of my system (Playbar and 2 Play 1s for theatre, Play 3 for living room, and other play 1s around the house)Is there a solution or am I best just getting out of the ecosystem now, as it’ll cost me a whole new theatre setup?

I ve tried multiple times but can’t connect my move 2 speaker via Bluetooth.

Good morning, Just purchased the e Sony Bravia 8 Model XR-65A80K.  I have a pre-existing SONOS Arc, Sub Woofer and 2 ONE-SL.  The ARC is attached to the SONY TV via the audio Fiber port.  The  4 HDMI ports have connected: Cable TV provider set top box; Apple TV 4K; HP Google Chrome box; and Sony 4K disc player.  The remote for the Cable TV set top box is able to change the audio volume of the SONOS ARC. The Cable TV set top box is a Xi6-T Model TX061AE1. The issue I’m experiencing is the SONY TV’S remote and the Apple TV’s remote is not able to control the SONOS Arc’s audio volume.  The TV responds with “Adjust Volume on Audio System”.  With 4 HDMI connected device, I would prefer to use the Fibre Audio port for SONOS connectivity.  I have tried contacting SONY Support.  They telephone IVR system keeps hanging up the call before getting to a Tech Support Agent.  Chat was not very helpful.  Thoughts?

New. Adjusted. Updated. Compared to my Bose QC35 ll and Bose buds, sound disappointing. Fuzzy, compressed, poor base. Android phone. Sonos Arc.  

I’m having issues updating alarms in Sonos. I can open and delete and I can also create a new alarm as long as I don’t make any changes to it, but the moment I change the time, repeat and sound it doesn’t save.The app is up to date and I’ve tried restarting my phone, (Galaxy A40), resetting the app, reinstalling it and have also turned the speaker itself (Era 100) off but so far nothing has worked.If anyone could help I’d much appreciate it as I rely on these alarms to get ready for work in the morning and my starting hours can change on a weekly basis (hence why I need multiple).

Why does your system force all IOS users of your app to expose their exact GPS location to simply connect a speaker to a base station?
