Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have Era 100 speakers installed in my home. I also have a turntable with its built-in simple amplifier. I want to know what equipment I should purchase so the turntable can play through my Era 100 speakers, and I also want to listen to my TV through the same speakers. I understand I should buy an amplifier and a sound bar, and I could achieve what I want, but I'd like to be sure.

I have a network with 3 devices. Sonos 5, Play3 and Move 2.My summer house is just out of range of wifi so I bought the Move 2 to try to act as a repeater for my wifi after being told it can setup a Sonosnet that is dedicated to Sonos network.I have hard wired my Sonos 5 which is very close to the router.But my Move 2 does seem to be connected to the SonosNet.I can check my status using:http://192.168.0.27:1400/support/review My Sonos 5 shows its in Sonosnet mode:WifiMode 0 WifiModeString SONOSNET_MODE IdleState 0x00000000 BusyClients AUDIO_OUT, LOCAL_SONOSNET, NO_PRIMARY  But my Move 2 shows:Wireless Info WifiMode 1 WifiModeString STATION_MODE IdleState 0x00000000 BusyClients AUDIO_OUT, NO_SONOSNET_PEERS, NO_PRIMARY  Its not unlikely the router is the stronger connection between this and my Sonos 5 as they are pretty much in the same place.Is there a way I can force my Move 2 onto the SonosNet so it can bridge between my Sonos 5 and the out of reach Play 3.  

I bought a Panasonic TV about a month ago and connected a Beam Gen 2 and surrounds via HDMI to the eArc.  Everything worked great except no sound from the Blu Ray player, which I still haven’t figured out.  Last night the soundbar disconnected from the TV and I can’t get it to reconnect.  I tried restarting both the TV and soundbar and ultimately factory reset both.  It still won’t connect.  When I try to add a soundbar on the TV it says there is an unsupported audio device connected to HDMI 2 (eArc connection).  When I “connect to TV” in the Sonos app, it says connecting but just gets stuck.  It has worked great for the past month.  Any ideas?  

Yes, my living room system consists of the following below.Living Room….Playbase, two play 3’s and two SubsThis is the only room where the speakers drop out and then will reconnect several seconds later. It may all speakers or just the Playbase or the two 3’s. They have been doing this for sometime now. Thank you,Gary

sonos Android app 80.23.9sonos OS 85-0-65270Android 14 Kernal 5.10.218There is a repeatable bug in the android app where it can delete the wrong entries when you are editing a playlist. I have a playlist with 10 or so albums, open the playlist to edit delete two entries at the beginning then scroll down and delete, lets call it the 40th entry  press done Review the result and you will find that entries 1 and 2 have gone BUT entry 40 is still present and entry 42 has been deleted instead. I repeated this test 5 times and it happened every time What changes things is if you hit DONE on EVERY screen you have deleted something and you don’t scroll down to edit other entries first then it appears to delete the correct entries.  Such mistakes are easy to miss unless you are very careful in reviewing your changes and you are looking out for it which is why I suspect so few have reported a problem. (BTW I noticed this behaviour in prior versions of the APP and reported it)   The IPAD OS versio

In our family room I have an Arc Ultra. 2 x 300s, and a gen2 Sub. Originally it was an Arc and the Sub was great. Since updating to the Arc Ultra the Sub is really not doing much. I have read this should have been fixed but I have ran all updates and can confirm this has not been resolved. I imagine this has to do with a crossover the Arc Ultra is managing what low frequencies to send to the Sub. If feels like the Sub isn’t getting it’s part of the mix. I can gain up the sub +10 in the app and it is almost unnoticeable. 

i have googled and read online that you can access saved room groups through play.sonos.com.  i have gone to rooms section; selected a room and save groups aren’t there.  So, if you can how can you? if you can’t then why does material say you can

Any song which part of an iTunes/Apple Music compilation then indexed in Sonos, Music Library/Imported Playlists will not play on either my Windows 11 pc, any of my ios devices, or Sonos speakers. These tracks play fine in the Apple Music app on pc and ios devices. Songs in Sonos imported playlists that are not in Compilations play fine on all devices. Please advise. Thank you.  

I have some first gen Sonos - play:1 and 3, playbar, sub, and an SL. They were all working well together for years, using the Sonos app on my iPhone, iPad and Mac. but recently it’s been glitchy and today suddenly it decides not to work. Only the SL could be set up and is found on the app. What can I do? Has Sonos decided not to support first gen speakers? Thanks.

My Sonos Beam is not showing any info in about your system → audio in when watching a movie,The Beam is playing audio without any problems but I can’t verify what actually gets passed from my TV to the Beam any more.Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks a bunch in advance.

Hola. Instalé you tube music,  en aplicación de sonos, pero no me deja ingresar a la biblioteca y cuando busco un artista, dice que no se encontraron coincidencias. Debo tener premiun... que desilicion tener un gran parlante symfonisk frame y no poder escuchar la musica preferida que tienes en you tube. I have an Arc and subwoofer and use Era 300 as rear / surround speakers for my home theater. I am building a new home and the ceiling height in the Great room where these will be located is 12 ft. I plan to place the speakers high up so I can hide the electric outlets in the ceiling behind the speakers. My question is regarding the height for best sound in this room. Is 11 ft high acceptable? 

I have a Unifi UDM and three access points.  My network consists of two segments.The normal network is named “Trusted”, which hosts personal secure devices, and another network named IoT which is firewall-prevented from accessing my main “Trusted” network.  All devices with limited, poor,  or no security are configured to use IoT.  It is essential that my Sonos Move 2 be put on the IoT network, but Sonos won't let that happen.  Sonos devices MUST be on the same network as the devices that interact with it, eg my iPhone and iPad, which are on my main network.My rules are that as Sonos devices are untrusted, they must NOT be on the Trusted network Temporarily my Move 2 is on my main network, until I figure out how to isolate it.   I’d be grateful if someone can help 

Still missing the functionality of the widget after the app update awhile back. Is this ever coming back to the app? It was great to have an entire page on my phone to manage my music throughout my entire home at a glance.  

I recently purchased a beam, sub, and two fives from a friend who is moving. I don’t have the fives yet, but also purchased a play:3, play:1, and 1SL from a used market place. I connected the beam to my TV via HDMI, and the sub connected fairly easy. I then got the play:3 hooked up as a third speaker after some trial and error. I was planning to put the one SL and the play:1 in my kitchen so we could have the audio when we walk in there to grab something. It worked ok at first, but now the speakers in the kitchen have created their own “system” I have to switch to, separate from the devices in the living room playing from the TV. I would love to never the systems, and have tried to factory reset them, but the connectivity is extremely inconsistent, usually only pairing to the kitchen or the living room. I have a WiFi extender in the kitchen I’m afraid may be creating some kind of separation. I’m not sure what to do. When I get the pair of fives, I will set them as a stereo pair in the

Hola, he visto esta pregunta en un tema pasado y no ví que hubiera resolución y estoy teniendo el mismo inconveniente, voy ser muy claro para no dejar duda de lo que pasa, yo tenía enlazados mis audífonos Sonos Ace a un celular, los audífonos aparecían en la App de Sonos sin problema, ahora compré un celular nuevo, enlace los audífonos a ese celular nuevo y por Bluetooth todo bien, los audífonos se reconocen y se escuchan, el problema es cuando los quiero emparejar en mi nuevo celular a la App de Sonos, los audífonos simplemente no se detectan y si lo hacen no pasan de la pantalla que dice ”estamos preparando tus Sonos Ace”, ví que este problema se intentó resolver contestandole a una chica que simplemente no necesita la App para emparejarlos al nuevo celular, con el Bluetooth y el multipunto basta, pero eso es inaceptable, si te vas a cambiar de celular es obvio que quieres descargar la App y que los audífonos los puedas manejar desde ahí. Hello alli am hoping for some help with my Sonos system. Summary of the set-up: 2 rooms with Sonos home AV set-ups.Open Plan: Original Play-bar connected via optical cable to Samsung Frame.  Wireless connection to internet.Lounge: Arc connected to Samsung Frame via HDMI, with mini-sub, and two rear speakers connected via Sonos AMP.  AMP and Playbar connected via Ethernet to the home network (believe this is required for this set-up to operate). Vodafone broadband, but with router used as modem (wireless network disables), and connected to a UniFi network.  Mixture of hardwired access points and WAP (connected by cable to the main network switch). Issue:Both rooms initially worked well, before they started to experience periodic audio drop-outs when using them for AV (that is there only real use - have other speakers for music). Tried to change the Network channel without success originally before a live chat with support suggested changing the channel on the app and then doing a full p

I made a similar thread a while ago but that was only when selecting dolby atmos.on the PS5 where the dialoge volumes were not balanced. However in the game Metaphor on the PS5 it does not matter what sound profile I select on the console, dialoge volumes are randomly painfully loud. I think it’s when it comes from the side channels. The worst example is a common one. This is a turn based RPG, so the characters will talk in combat. For example if you heal all characters, they will say a sentence as a way of thanking, but since the heal goes from one to the next, the sound can switch channels mid way if the sentence is long enough. What this does is that it becomes really loud at the end of the sentence. This happens a lot once you get 4 party members, especially the last member who says long sentences. It’s really annoying and caused me to use the TV audio, it’s that bad. Another example is NPCs talking in tows, sometimes it’s just way too loud, I thought this was a flaw of the game bu

My Sonos One S/L is crackling, clearly a bad build. Called Sonos, theyv’e offered me 30% off buying a new one (what an insult) but it’s out of warranty.Can anyone help with any DIY solution to try fix the rattle rather than throw it in the bin?I’m now worried about the other Sonos One, One Era, Beam and Roam that I also have will progressively fail the same way with no comeback.I regret these purchases, should have bought an established brand with history and longevity.
