Apologies for the longish title but there are a lot of threads discussing speakers dropping, but none seemed exactly like mine. I love my Sonos system but ran into connection issues when I changed my WiFi from Xfinity cable to an ATT Fiber Router and added two Eero 6+ mesh devices to get signal around my house. While I’m not an IT expert, so excuse any naming errors, I am not afraid to try things out.My system: S2 app, Play 1 gen 1 & Sub Gen 3 (Grouped), Amp (Outdoor Speakers), Arc Ultra (TV), and Boost (now offline). Everything is wireless, no direct connections after dropping the Boost. My Issue: After connecting everything, which took a while, the Arc Ultra kept getting dropped. If it connected, then either the Amp or the Grouped Play 1s or Sub would get dropped. I could see all of the devices in ATT Gateway Router (Nokia) and on my Eero app. After researching the issue, I think that there were conflicts with the wifi bands and wifi sources. My wife and I have separate Sonos and separate Qobuz (Duo) accounts. I have linked the relevant Sonos and Qobuz accounts on different mobile phones. We can send music to the Sonos speakers as would be expected, but my wife continues to see and add to my Qobuz music, playlists, etc and is unable to make her own separate music lists. We are also unable to play different music on different speakers (which is a pain if one of us is watching TV through the Arc). Is there a solution to this? 

Why does Sonos have a maximum of 32 Sonos devises in one home? Is there a not so cumbersome work around? 

The Sonos app only works on three of my four Apple devices (three iPhones, one ipad). Is there a limit of three devices?

First of all, sorry because English is not my language. I hope to express my feedback correctly. Also I’m new in Sonos, so perhaps I missed something…I’ve spent a small fortune in my living room set up with an Arc, a Sub and two Era 300. After that I was anxious to test Dolby Atmos music, so I replace Spotify first to Apple and then to Amazon music. First shock, when I realised that AirPlay is not able to play in Dolby qality, so the Sonos app use is now mandatory if you want to get all the features you pay for… and then a nightmare starts:You can’t play next or previous song from the blocked screen of your phone. Now I have to unlock the mobile every time I want to change a song. That’s not the way I used to play music before! You can’t change the volume with the mobile buttons. And it’s even more annoying as it’s a common need when you’re listening music. Songs jump when I’m using Apple

I have spent an hour and a half trying to reconnect my Play 5 gen 2 to my system. I use the s1 app and I used to be able to group my Play 5 gen 1 and gen 2 together. I can only connect the Play 5 gen as ‘living room’. My Play 5 gen 2 shows as ‘bedroom two’ only for the upgrade offer.  I spent an eternity trying to login I changed my pw 5 times none were accepted. I got cut off from the help line 4 times but someone did finally manage to make my pw work finally before I got cut off. I did every reset that I could sometimes more than once . They kept asking for my phone number but didn’t use it so what was the point? I gave up in the end it’s still not working, it used to so I can only think it is the new s 1 app that upgraded whilst I was being forced to repeatedly login! I don’t like complaining and I love the sound of the speakers when they are working so it is very depressing that a simple thing that worked before will no longer work. 

Hi, is it possible to use my setup (2x Era 100, 2x Era 300 and 1x sub mini) for surround? I would use the era 300 as rear speakers and the era 100 in the front. Does that work out?

I have a Music Library  on a USB drive formatted as NTFS and named ‘MusicLib’, attached in the back of a TP-Link Archer BE550 router. Windows media player can access this shared drive from my Windows desktop without a problem.However, my Sonos system (Beam + One SL) is refusing to see this drive giving an error message “//192.168.0.1/MusicLib is no longer available”.Sonos can access a shared music folder on my QNAP NAS without a problem.Sonos can see and access music files on my desktop without a problem.I don’t particularly want to keep the NAS drive or desktop powered up continuously so that  I can listen to my music, where as the router is permanently ON so having an accessible USB drive attached would be very convenient.Any suggestions for a solution?I should really praise SONOS technical support for spending 90 minutes troubleshooting but could not solve the issue.ThanksElgreco

From yesterday I am unable to play radio or music through my Sonos system . TV audio is fine . I have all the rebooting etc (twice) but it still comes up with service account not available???? I’ve checked all my details 

Hello Everyone,New to the forum and I have some issues that some tech guys like me might be able to help with.I'm the Network Administrator for a small junior college. Our athletics program recently purchased to two Era 300 speakers. I am struggling to keep them connected to our WLAN/SSID and using the app to be able to communicate with them.I want to ensure that its not the networking side that the issue.My question: anyone else on here who uses a Cisco 9800 WLC that would be willing to share there configuration of their WLAN/Policy/RF tags?I've looked over the documentation on Sonos support website and it does not seem like they need anything special compared to other IOT devices. Thank for any help in advance!

After many months of frustration periodically trying to restore S2 controller access to my local Apple Music library and collection of FLAC on a (wired) external drive, I finally got both working about a month ago. What a relief...But, sometime in recent weeks (maybe days) both stopped working. I’m getting all the old error messages about Sonos not having access. I don’t think this corresponds to a MacOS update (currently Sequoia 15.7.1) or a Sonos Controller update (currently 17.2 build 9006717), but I’m not sure.I really don’t want to restart the process of trying to reconnect these music libraries. It seemed very flakey no matter what instructions I followed. I’m hoping someone knows of a specific potential cause for this, so I can resolve it with minimal trial and error.P.S. I have finally hit the end of my rope with Sonos Connect. The whole system was about to go down the chute when someone said, “No! Wait! The Sonos Amp is what you really need for your turntable!” (OK he said “...need for your vinyls” but, you know...)That’s a lot of scratch when I already have a phono amp. So I was looking at the Sonos Port.Which is also a lot of scratch.And is black - when all my other Sonos gear is white.But my real question is:Is the Port indeed materially better than the Connect?  It’s expensive - how soon before the next generation improvement is released?

Hi everyone,I'm trying to set up two Symfonisk speakers as surrounds for my Sonos Beam (Gen 2), but the app won’t let me complete the setup.Both speakers are visible in the Sonos app and work fine individually. When I try to add them as surrounds, it's working but after i have in the app for Symfonisk surrounds Not connected statusAny idea what could cause that?Thanks for the help!

How many external devices (i.e. LP player and CD Player) can I connect to a Sonos Amp or Port? Can I connect both to one device and if so whioch one do I need?

I’m trying to play music from Spotify in ‘Lossless’ quality on my Sonos Amp via Spotify Connect, but the option doesn’t appear. In the Spotify app, it shows (for the Sonos Amp): "This device currently supports streaming qualities up to 'Very high'." "This device is not compatible with lossless audio quality. To listen in lossless, try changing your device." I’ve tried connecting via both mobile and desktop (Mac) Spotify apps and have already followed Spotify’s official “Listen in lossless” steps (https://support.spotify.com/uk/article/spotify-connect/).Has anyone successfully played Spotify Lossless on a Sonos Amp via Spotify Connect, or is this a known limitation? Hi all.  Gen1 play5, play 1 and a bridge.2 weeks ago Sonos S1 cannot connect to system.  Full reset to everything.Still would not find Bridge (always had ethernet cable to bridge).Will find play 5 when I connect play5 to ethernet cable.  Also then sees play 1 but not bridge.Happy to play music at this point.App then falls over when we move to wifi connection.Any ideas? Have Sonos decided 10years is enough and they want more£?

Hello guys, I am very sorry for this topic i am a first time sonos user and it is been asked many many times but i hope there is a solution that is so easy that i can understand. Other users on our wifi network can open the sonos app and look for devices and can control everything.I dont like that and i dont want that because it is a student house and i think,no i know they are gonne play with it on moments i dont like. I have read that I can do it with a seperate router, so i have to connect the amp to that router.        Do I have to put the live internet cable in the wan or lan port of that router and wont i get problems with the other internet system and routers because of ip or subnet settings?                                       I Dont have acces to the provider router thats the main wifi and cabled internet.And does have the amp acces to the network to play spotify.(because when it is in that network it is detectable o

As deep as I dive in Sonos world, more issues I’m finding. I hope this one is just a settings mistake or a SW easy-to-solve topic. Although reading some posts from 2 years ago, I’m really scared.Since I started to use SVC a couple of days ago, (to skip the missing of control with the phone locked), I’ve figured out that the mic turns off randomly so, when you try to speak with Esposito, there is nobody there.I’ve read the manual trying to find what I am doing wrong. Then, I reinstall the SVC in Arc thinking it could solve it. But the result is still the same, the mic switches off constantly. But I can’t believe a hardware issue is not fixed 2 years before…. I have an Arc Ultra sound bar and I'm thinking about In-wall speakers for the rear. I have power available, so can I go without the amp and just connect them to my Arc Ultra through WiFi?

HelloIs there any way of streaming music directly from my phone to Sonos Amp?I've looked at:a usb c to RCA cable with DAC from my phone to the Ampa usb c to DAC and then from DAC to AmpAnd a Bluetooth receiver to RCA plugged into the Amp Not sure which one will give me the best results and whether they'd work.Any thoughts and help appreciated.Thanks
