I have Amazon music set as my default music provider on my speakers but when ever I ask via Alexa for music to be played it defaults to Spotify free and invariably just plays something random or related to the artist requested.

I have reauthorised Amazon music, rescanned for speakers and even removed Spotify as a service provider in the Sonos app, and set Amazon music to default again, yet somehow my speakers still defaults to playing from Spotify free, not sure how or why.

You may need to set Amazon Music as “Your Default Services” in the Alexa app.  I’m up to date with the Alexa app on IOS.  So things have changed.  Here is how I get to default services… touch 3 lines top left - Settings - scroll down to Music & Podcasts - touch your profile name on top - open Your Default Services and change them to Amazon Music.

Thank you, that sorted it! Never would have thought of checking the Alexa settings.
