Trueplay sweeps very loud

Hello,

I have a sonos arc ultra + sub mini + 2 era 100 as surrounds. I have a problem when I recalibrate the system if trueplay has already been done once. The sweeps are very loud and almost unbearable. I have to do a hard reset (and link the sub and the era 100) before performing trueplay again. By now it is the only way i found to perform trueplay at a bearable volume.

Is it a normal behaviour for the arc ultra or do i miss something ? I use an iPhone se with advanced trueplay.

Moreover, if i perform simple trueplay on my android Phone, the sweeps are also very loud and the switch on/off for trueplay does not appear, even if trueplay finished without error.

Not sure this is an answer, but a comment. There is a difference between TruePlay with an iOS device and Quick TruePlay with an Android device. The former uses the iOS device’s microphone, the latter uses the microphone(s) in the speaker. And, to my understanding, Quick TruePlay (which really should be called something different) can’t be done on a home theater setup, only on individual devices (up to stereo or 3.0 for soundbars) but not for soundbars with surrounds and subs. When you ‘add’ devices of any type to a ‘room’, the TruePlay, of either type, settings are lost, so you have to redo them.

In your case, I’d suggest you call Sonos Support to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
