I can't connect any Sonos gen 1 products to my new sky 5g hub … even though it says it's split into 5g and 2.4g

Try giving removing the Boost and/or giving the 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz bands the same SSID.

Sky devices are generally junk, can you add a decent router to your network?
