I have 2 speakers, one in the office, the other in the family room. The office speaker Works just fine, the family speaker is not detectable.  I did the rest by unplugging from electrical but its still not detectable.  Its plugged directly into the router.

Alternately, power down both Sonos speakers, then reboot your router. Wait two minutes, then plug back in your Sonos speakers. Wait another two minutes, then open your controller. Do both devices appear?

First thing.  What model speakers?  Try running both on WiFi.  Usually there is no need to use Ethernet.
