Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have done EVERYTHING Suggested to get Soundcloud to re-activate and play! Yesterday, it said there was a Soundcloud Outage. Today, I looked to see if there was still an outage & didn’t see one. Funny it plays fine on my phone. Today, Sonos still couldn’t play Soundcloud, so I even took the service off Sonos to reactivate it. Several times, it said something went wrong. Finally, got to the active page & it said it was activated, but when I went to look for the service, nothing was there!!!!!!!!! I went thru this process SEVERAL TIMES!!!! I did Everything! I Literally, a few weeks ago had to do a FACTORY RESET!!! SONOS is really making me Angry at this point, with the app issues the WORST APP IN HISTORY! Please can I just listen to my music, without the app saying “products are missing” or not being able to play the Suggested Services? How do I get this to work?

I have a turntable connected via rca cables to Sonos Connect. (With a pre-amp in between. )I am unable to choose the line in as a music source using the app. 

Every time I start the App I have to reauthenticate Deezer by adding it as a service. For me this started yesterday and is still an issue. Is anyone else having an issue?Once I reauthenticate everything works and I can select and play music.Any speaker actively using Deezer functions as expected i.e. I can restart paused playlists or flows. I think this means the speakers are retaining the authorisation but the app is not.

Hi, I have my music collection saved on a Micro Sd card which I use with my Hi Res Walkman. What's the best way to play my collection via Sonos? Can I play via a Tablet? If so whats the best App or program to use?

HiCurrently have a Beam Gen 2 and Sub Mini connected to a Sony OLED tv, both via WiFI and they are controlled for the volume by the Sky Q remote control. Can also control via the Sonos app.When watch the tv at night the volume might typically be set at No 4.When the tv is turned on the following day it always come back on at volume level 10 and above which is actually quite loud.Would be grateful off any advice or help on how to prevent this if possible. ThanksEddie  

I am listening music with Sonos all day without any problems. Each day around 5 pm to 6 pm (South African Time), I do experience issues, described as follows: Spotify Connection Lost Can’t load content even my NAS does not load the library everything slows down finally I must switch off SonosThe next morning, all issues gone.My network:Deco Mesh Network XE75 Router ER605 TP-Link 19 Speaker, 1 Boost connected via Ethernet Internet Speed during issues experienced > 50 MB

My Sonos arc s19 is not turning on after an electrical discharge 

I just hooked up my new arc ultra to my equally new lg b4 83 inch tv. Although my new lg is described as having an e-arc hdmi connection, it only says ARC on one of the HDMI’s I plugged into. I haven’t been able to verify in my app or on the tv or my Sonos app on my phone that I’m receiving Dolby atmos signal when I play an atmos  source such as the movie A Star is Born(Lady Gaga). ‘The sound is good but the spatial separation is weak  I did set it up through true Play 

My Sonos app seems to be glitching out and no longer shows my Arc system, but only if I add another one of my speakers. The app will even briefly show the Arc (I've set it under living room 1) when I switch into the app but after a split second it will dissappear, just leaving my 2 One SLs showing (currently as 2 seperate rooms)  By doing a factory reset on all 3 and making sure I did the Arc first, it at least allowed me to set up the Arc and connect it to my TV, but as above once any other speaker is added, the option to do anything with the Arc disappears, which crucially for me means I cannot add my One SLs as surround speakers to it. The Arc is continuing to be connected to the TV, and if I go into my Spotify App it does show and recognise the missing 'living room 1' in the Sonos app and will allow to play music via the Arc.  What's most frustrating is that I have the app on both my android phone and my Ipad - and the issue is happening with both!  I've done a factory reset on all

Hi all,New to Sonos, looking to buy currently but had a question on compatibility.i am wanting to following:Sub Mini 2 x Era 300 Beam Gen 2i feel this is the best setup for me. Does anyone see any compatibility issues with this setup? How easy will it be to link up with a Samsung OLED TV? Any comments etc much appreciated. Thanks. 

Hey all im trying a fix my SONOS gen 1 which is powering up but consistently getting a white/orange led.  I went thru the whole network, register stuff nothing which then led me to do check on the actual board.  Looking at others issue with i saw common one for PSU was changing a blown R37 chip i then noticed on the videos beside R37 there is a R76 chip.  Nothing seems to be fried on my board but i do see mine is missing a R76 chip.Trying to find out what type of chip is this is it the same as a R37 - resistance smd 1206 1 ohm 1R00 (R77) 

Hi, just bought the Sonos Ace today.when i wear them, even when shutdown or started, the left ear is doing like a crack noise everytime I move my head. This is very disturbing, is there something wrong I’m doing ? thanks

I want add and install my new Five speakers to my existing system. All works ok in the installation process but speakers gets added to a new system, which did not exist before. I have reset and reinstalled but same problem every time. I have tried to reset my other speakers and added them to my existing system and that works just fine. The problem is only for my new Fives. I had Sonos for many years and never had such issue before. Any ideas? 

Hi,I have gradually been building my sonos system through the house, and have now got the following setup in the lounge, which I had hoped / planned would mean Dolby Atmos / 7.1 sound - if the content allows. Beam 2, Sub Mini, 2 x Ones at the back of the room. Will this indeed achieve the atmos / 7.1 experience I had hoped for films / TV? Thanks in advance

I have a room set up in the Sonos app The sub 4 is physically in this roomThere are 3rd party wall speakers also in this room connected back to a sonos amp.However the sonos amp is physically in a different room and hard wired to the network (comms room). Open the Sonos app - tap into the room - under products I see both-Amp-Sub 4but I can only tap into Amp under products and from there I can turn wifi on/off under the connection settings (usually have wifi off on all products they are hard wired in but this amp I am using wifi only).However, I can’t tap into sub 4m only Amp.So I go back and tap into Amp and enable wifi.  Then I try play music in the room - sub 4 is silent. If I physically move the sub 4 to the comms room it works. So I have a sinking feeling that the sub 4 needs line of sight to the amp? Please tell me I’m wrong…. Is there no way to put the sub 4 on the wifi and let it link up with the Amp for the room over the network?

I have been a Sonos user for over 10 years, and it seems like the web app just keeps getting worse. Who designed this? It’s seems to have been designed by people who don’t ever use the service. I like to have Sonos music playing in my house all day, and it is easiest to use my MacBook for this. But this requires using Sonos web, and the website app is horribly designed. Navigation is tedious, requiring far too many clicks to get anywhere. For example, to select a new playlist from the My List function I have to close all current windows and go back to My Services/My mix. This is just an example; there are many other problems with the design of the web app.Another issue is that the system keeps dropping the multiple speakers I have set up, requiring me to reselect them whenever I open the app.It seems as though Sonos is just interested in selling products and not investing in good app design/functionality.Very frustrating after spending hundreds of dollars on 3 Sonos speakers.

Hi All, My system:  Beam (gen 1), and 2x Symfonisk bookshelves as surrounds.TL;DR:  You might be able to use SonosNet to connect your Surrounds back to your system, if nothing else is working. I’ve been having a heap of issues connecting my Symfonisk bookshelves back into my living room system after a change of wireless router.  It’s honestly caused me a lot of stress, and cost me a lot of time… so I want to post this to maybe save at least one person the same pain.I went through the recommended factory reset route on every speaker in my system (multiple times), but the Symfonisks would always disappear from the system as soon as the Sonos app had completed its work.  Sometimes I got a message like “Your speaker has been added, but may not appear in the System tab[...]”, but power-cycling the speakers didn’t work.  If on the rare occasion they did not disappear at this point, they would appear as ‘unregistered’, and then disappear as soon as the app tried to register and update them.  

I’ve had issues when adding songs to my Amazon playlist and the Sonos app would not update with the added songs.  After reading multiple posts in this community I found a workaround that seemed to solve the issue for me.These are the steps I used after adding songs to my Amazon playlists:In the Amazon app select Home, select top left (user), go to settings, scroll down to ‘refresh my music’.  Takes a few minutes to complete the refresh. In the Sonos app select your speaker, go to the queue (bottom left) and clear the queue using the trash can. Once the Sonos queue is clear add your Amazon playlist and it should recognize the updated songs.  At least it did for me.  There still seems to be a 300 song limit for Amazon playlists.

I have several Sonos ZP120 circa 2006.  Is it possible to set them up to be a dumb amp? My thought would be to use a newer Sonos PORT RCA outpout that would feed into the ZP120.   Im cool with setting the ZP120’s up using the S1 app, but then simply Set-it and forget it and uninstall the app.   what I dont know, and looking for advise from the comminuty, is;-  Can the ZP120, if never touched fall back and stay at the Line-in input setting?- Is the Sonos PORT RCA output varabile? ie: If the ZP120 volume is permenatly set to say, 90%, would the varabile RCA outbout from the PORT be akin to a volume control. There by adjusting the room volume from the S2 app?- does the ZP120 have a sleep, and//or auto wake from the RCA input.  id hate to add to the global warming by having them amplfy hiss and dead air. ;-) ive got 2 Listening Zones with 2 and 4 in-celing speakers respectvily. The zone with 4 speakers cannot handel the power of a newer Sonos AMP @ 4 Oms ( I think).  I use the zones vary r

Hello, Im trying to connect mutlple system like below screenshot,TV Room : Arc UltraMedia Room : Era 300 + Subi use to connect both system like this to watch Movies, but its not working anymorethe app shows its both enabled, but i cant hear any audio from Media Roomnote: i can able to play audio in Media Room seperate via AirPlay,so i guess its not speaker issue  anyone had this issue ? any idea how to solve it?

Hi, I recently upgraded to an Era 100 from a Sonos One as I only have wifi via my mobile network provider. I managed to set up the Era 100 via traditional wifi elsewhere but when I connect at home using only bluetooth and playback through my Apple devices and macOS/iOS/Apple Music/Spotify, I keep getting constant dropouts which you’ll appreciate can be very annoying mid song. Does anyone know of a fix or am I out of luck and need fixed wifi only? Many thanks in advance!

I had a playbar when I turned it up and down it just flashed on the playbar and no tv symbols, but the arc ultra seems to when turning up and down shows the plus and minus on the screen, it’s only on there briefly before disappearing but i don’t want to see when turning up or down the tv, settings in my Samsung don’t seem to help clear it any thoughts please
