As per title, i use two sonos one 2nd gens. One fell and now the bass is distorted (unless i put -4 on equaliser)

Ive opened the speaker as im impatient, if i have the speaker opened slightly the distortion stops. Obviously i dont want that but before i go any further, can i really fix this

Too late for you now, but ALWAYS contact Sonos Support before opening a speaker or device. Many of the good options go away once you have done that.

If it is just cracked plastic and no other damage a plastic welding kit might salvage it. Start here:

As far as I’m aware, Sonos does not sell ‘replacement/repair’ parts. So suggestions like @Stanley_4 ‘s are valid.

Second thought buy a parts-only one on ebay that has dead electronics and a good frame.

I think that you’ll need to open farther to see what has moved.

Check eBay for used Sonos One options. Just make sure it’s Gen 2.

If distortion stops on 'opening' the speaker then chances are it is caused by whatever it is you are moving to 'open' it being loose against the housing.

Fix the removed part, the grill(?), with some quality foam tape (recommend a 3m VHB variant) and see if it resolves the issue…

Maybe 🤷🏼‍♂️🤓
