Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I’ve had several conversations here with folks with Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet unfriendly houses. I currently have a Beam 2 connected (HDMI eARC) to my TV with 2 x Play 1 set up as surrounds (additionally I have 2 x Roam 1 in a stereo pair in the same room).My son in law has just upgraded his Arc with an Arc Ultra and is giving me his old Arc.I am thinking of replacing the Beam 2 with the Arc (connected via HDMI eARC to my TV) and combining that with the 2 x Play 1s then using the Beam 2 stand alone behind the settee in the same room as an additional speaker.Is this possible? Will the Arc and Beam2 interfere with each other? or should I just use the beam elsewhere / sell it?

I have connected my beam gen 2 and my 2 era 100s to my Hisense tv, the hdmi is connected to the correct arc connection, the picture is fine for a while then goes off it’s very pixelated then freezes, when I switch the Sonos products off the sound works fine through the tv, I have tried different hdmi cables and the problems still there

Sometime ago, I asked for people to recommend a music player for my Sonos speakers. I was looking for something to rip my CD collection to that was easy to use and navigate. That thread got closed, but I thought I would provide an update.  My initial attempt was a Brennen Helix, but I just never got on with it. The 2nd suggestion was to build your own NAS with a Raspberry Pi. I was not keen, because I wanted something a little more presentable than a collection of devices. I have a system that includes Ones, Play 1s, Amps, a Ray, Beam and Arc.  The Amps and sound bars are wired connections. System works “fine” other than never-ending problems with the buggy app. I added a stereo pair of ERA 100 speakers to a new room - they connected to my system fine and I can play music on them no problem, BUT when I try to add one of my other rooms to play with the Era 100s it won’t allow it - it just won’t add the new room after I select it in the app - no error messages or anything. Same goes if I try to connect the Era 100s to another room that is playing music or if I put them in a group together.  I have tried this with virtually every combination of speakers. There is one weird sort of exception - if I add one of the rooms/products that is connected via Ethernet to the ERA 100s or visa-versa then then it shows the added room as if it was playing music in the app, but does not play any sound through the speakers for the added room although I can

Bonjour,Je n’ai plus de son qui sort sur ma chaine connectée à Sonos Conect gen 1. La chaine marche bien je l’ai vérifié.J’ai fait un reset usine du sonos connect cela n’a rien changé. Dans mon appli Sonos je vois bien mon connect, je peux supprimer le voyant blanc augmenter ou diminuer le son etc… les informations circulent bien entre l’appli Sonos et le Connect.Cela s’est produit après une absence de 4 semaines. J’avais exactement le même problème sur des Play 1 et ma Playbase, les débrancher 30” et les rebrancher à régler le problème sauf sur mon sonos connect.Merci de votre aide

My sonos 1 music cuts out when I listen to 93.1 wxrt via Audacy. This doesn't happen when I listen to non Audacy sources. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, resetting power etc.   Any suggestions?

I have a Playbar, Sub, and two Play 1 speakers. Recently, although appearing connected in the app, the Sub and Play speakers have not worked - I only get sound through the Playbar. I’ve deleted all the speakers from the network, factory reset and then added again, but with no luck. The app says they’re connected, but I get no audio. Any suggestions as to what to try next?Thanks.

Hi everyone, My purchased items for a new kitchen, living & dining area consists of: Arc, Sub(3), OneSL & Era 100. Question is what setup would you recommended for mainly music playing but also surround sound TV? Bear in mind I may place one of either SL or 300 in the undercover outdoor area. Since the last update of Sonos app, 2 weeks ago, when playing tracks using my iTunes library it skips tracks when playlists or complete albums are used.it plays perfectly then there is a pause of about 20-30 seconds and when it resumes it has skipped several tracks usually 2 . I can manually go back to the next track it was supposed to play and it is fine then periodically it does it again.the library is made up of aac and mp3 tracks, about 35000 tracks. Sonos controller on PC windows 10 wifi speed to router 351 mbps. Using Sonos port any help appreciated

Has anyone experienced their Sonos Move making a clicking sound? 

Hi. I have a Beam, Sub Mini and two Play1 for surround sound.  All speakers work with music and appear as one group. However during TV playback, the two Play1 speakers just have a light static noise. Sub is working, as is the Beam. TV playback is showing as 5.1 surround. Any ideas? Thanks 👍 

Excuse my ignorance but I am wishing to play CDs thru a Era 300.I am obviously required to purchase a CD player but can anyone advise if there is a particular brand that is more compatible with Sonos than others.If not, is there anything obvious I should look out for in selecting a brand?i also have a Sonos record deck and am wanting to also play that thru the same Era 300, having previously played thru a Move speaker. Is that possible?Thank You in advance…..

Is there a way to connect my Sonos Sub back to my system it was before now I can’t. It keeps asking me to update it but it was working fine before I recently switched spot to a new portable TVs stand….PLEASE HELP….

I’m a very satisfied user of Sonos, having a surround system with a Beam and two Era 100, plus two other Era 100 in other rooms. BUT… there is one thing that annoys me very much with the TV surround setting. There is no way to choose for a setting where the sound would come out in the same way from all the speakers. This means that when you look at TV shows, sometimes the sound comes only out of the front center Beam speaker when there is mainly speech, and then all of a sudden there is some background music in the show and then only it comes out of the rear Era speakers. Even worse when I listen to a music concert on TV, the speech (singing) comes only from the front center speaker (with some music) and only music is coming out of the rear speakers. Sorry but for me this is very disturbing and not at all the right music experience. So my simple question is to Sonos: just foresee a setting for TV sound where the sound comes out of all speakers unprocessed or unfiltered in the same w

I have Sonos arc + sub-mini + 2 ERA surrounds. Sonos arc is connected to LG TV UR8000AUA. when I play you tube videos - sound suddenly turns off. I need to go into tv sound settings to change the sound source. It will automatically switch back to ears sound source and then sound will come back.when I play Spotify music on tv the sound cuts off intermittently when the song plays.i have tried changing various settings but the issue never gets addressed. pls help

My arc volume is low when watching TV but perfect volume when listening to music.

I have a Beam in our bedroom, and another one in my exercise room.  I have reset and setup up both of them.  When I turn on the TV in the exercise Beam, it combines with the bedroom beam.  How do I get this behavior to stop, and make them separate?

How can I watch tv with sound muted and listen to Sonos radio at the same time?
