I’m considering paying for the Sonos radio subscription. I already pay for ITunes and SoundCloud streaming. I like the Sonos stations. My big hesitation is that there doesn’t appear to be a way to listen to Sonos radio outside of my house. Is there an app that would allow me to access my subscription while on the road?

Is there a way to listen artist curated radios like Third Man Records Public Address System on older products which are controlled by Sonos S1?

Launched the app on my iphone this morning and all my favourites (radio stations from various sources) have all disappeared. Instead, is a handy “tip” explaining how to save favourites.Has anyone else experienced this? How do I get my favourites back?

Every time I use Sonos with YouTube on my Mac then I go back to Apple Music within Sonos on my phone, the zone I was using with YouTube is missing. I have tried quitting Sonos app and unplugging speakers in the missing zone.  Eventually it comes back but sometimes now for days.   Others can use the zone with Apple Music and airplay 

I have been having problems with Apple Music dropping out randomly across various speakers in my 9 speaker system.  I followed the Sonos support process…first the chat bot who referred to an online chat with a person, who referred me to calling the tech support to actually speak to a person. Still no resolution other than to say I need to eliminate interference from networks in my house by moving my network to bridge mode. Sounded odd as the Sonos devices are pointed at a specific network, but Sonos were not accepting any other approach. 3 hours of my life I’ll never get back! $300 of network consulting to re-configure the network and guess what……no improvement. Another call to Sonos tech support and the next consultant advises (with some coaxing) that there’s a known bug with Apple Music and numerous customers have the issue. Very guarded on the detail.  Suffice to say, I am extremely annoyed and angry with Sonos (not to mention being $300) ou

My device is Sonos Five. I know that streaming is supported up to 16 bits/44,1 kHz in Tidal. My question is: if I connect my phone/computer to Sonos Five via line in, do I get 24 bits/48 kHz quality? Tidal app shows the "Max" text in yellow, however I am not sure if Sonos re-converts it to 16 bits/44,1 kHz while on line in.

Hi community, As of yesterday, the cruise control station doesn’t play anymore and is giving an error: “cannot play content. Try again later”. I am a Sonos radio HD subscriber. Does anyone know if there’s any information published anywhere regarding which radio stations are actually available or when someone else makes any changes to their library of stations? It’s one of our most used stations so hoping that it’s a temporary issue on Sonos server side   Cheers in advance. 

I have 2 new Move speakers and they are the only ones recognized by the app. The other speakers were working flawlessly up until yesterday.

finding playlists and editing those playlists 

The app has limited functionality on my phone, I can access tv, music library and radio stations, but when I try to log in to change the priority from tv to Beam to play music for an extended period, ie for more than 2 songs, it switches back to tv, cutting the music off.I click log in on my phone but it just sits there doing nothing, I can’t get past the log in screen. It worked fine on my previous phone, but hasn’t logged in once on my present one. I can’t even log in to update the app, which I had no problems doing on my pc.Can someone help please?

Hi, at the end of my tether with Sonos!  Went to open my Sonos app on my laptop earlier, but it started by asking me to connect, despite working fine yesterday and it won’t connect… However, works fine on my iPhone app… any ideas people?

Hi, my playbar is connected to the TV via an audio cable & Ethernet to the router. When I stream my music to all speakers the playbar cuts in and out throughout. Around 30 second between and then off for 5 seconds. (TV on standby) If I unplug the TV audio cable then it works fine. Is there anything I can do to cure this without having to keep removing the audio cable from the back of the TV every time I stream my music? 

I use Deezer but I am not in the country where my deezer subscription is purchased. In the deezer app I can change the region to UK and get top tracks, top artists etc for the UK. However the Sonos app gives me top tracks etc from the deezer subscription home (not UK) and there is no way to change the region in Sonos app. My Sonos profiles are set to UK but this makes no difference. Any way to fix the region in Sonos app so I get local playlists. Jezzzz

I have been using SONOS since they started.  Had a 10TB NAS filled with music.   Electrical storm knocked out my NAS, so I got a new one, and populated it with a back up fo my library.  I now point the music library to a static IP address, it performs the scheduled update, but it always stalls with a message that there is NOT enough room for the update.   Do I reinitialize my entire system and try to mount the new NAS again, and if so, how do I do that?

The latest Sonos app for iPhone and iPad. Version 80.18.25. There are still a number of UI communication errors.Instead of descriptions, various placeholders or codes are shown. This only occurs when the iOS/iPadOS system language is set to Polish. When switching the language to English, these errors disappear. Messages are displayed correctly. Attached are examples of the errors.The issues also occur during speaker setup and any changes to the Sonos system settings.    

I created a folder on my Crucial X9 Pro hard drive with my music.  I shared the folder.  I tried to add //hostname/volumes/Crucial X9 Pro/My Music.  hostname obviously is not the name of :-).  Sonos says that the path name is no longer available.  There wasn’t any additional information to help me understand what I have wrong.   I do have file sharing on.  Read Only for everyone.  

Here's the scenario: I select a Spotify playlist, it will be added to the Sonos queue immediately. Then I select several other Spotify playlist and add them to the queue. After some time I switch to listening tot the radio and then want to switch to the queue again. If I understand correctly, I have to select a Spotify playlist again before being able to access the queue. But then this playlist is (again) added tot the queue. I don't want that. Am I doing something wrong?In the old app it was really easy to do this.

The position in the playing queue is no longer being maintained if I temporarily do anything else within the app (search, browse, etc.). When I return I see the first song in the queue, not the song I am currently hearing. This is very annoying, especially if there are several hundred songs in the queue.  I’ve been using SONOS for years, and I do not think this was ever a problem before.

My set up is really old. Play 1 and Play 3.  I also have unlimited prime music. It has driven me mad, why the music would drop on playing random   songs on amazon music. I am a bit techo dense, but finally found out the songs were streaming in ultra hd. But with the sonos app, the trouble songs just said HD. Hence the confusion. I know my speakers aren't compatible with Ultra HD. I went into the amazon app and set my quality there to SD, but it's made no difference.Has anyone manage to limit the streaming quality or is time for new speakers?. 

Hi,I am using the Android Sonos App version 80.16.32. If I am playing a podcast and I want to add another podcast to the end of the queue then it fails with the message “Unable to add to queue”. This works OK from the Sonos App on my iPad. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it doesn’t help. Can I do anything to fix this? Thanks  

Spotify recently introduced Spotify Basic Family. It has the same features as Premium, but without the use of e-books and it is cheaper. Does this Spotify Basic Family plan work with Sonos?

Reposting as a conversation since the question I asked was marked answered when it did not pertain to Android.I have searched and seen similar topics.  Most relate to Amazon Music.  I do not have any issues playing a Spotify playlist of more than 100 songs.  If I select a playlist in my Music Library, any of the ways to get music into the queue results in 100 songs.I have tried the workarounds to empty the queue, add one song and then select Play Next for the entire playlist.  That does not work.  Nor does any of the selections to add or play the playlist in the queue.  All result in an error and/or just the first 100 songs being added.I can scroll to the end of my playlist.  The only way to play a song outside of the top 100 is to only add that song to the playlist.  If I select any song beyond the top 100, it will play the 100th song.FWIW, I have my playlists in 2 formats, iTunes and m3u.  Both behave the same.  I get the same behavior on all devices.

I am reluctantly using the new app and have issues trying to control my tv sound system on the app. Every time I open the app the system is not recognised. So I have to switch the speakers off and then back on again - then it is recognised and I can control it.whats going on? It’s very frustrating.thanks 

Hello. I have set up my music library connecting it to a file, on my hardrive, with all my music and this has always worked, however, I have had to move my music to a different hardrive and now Sonos is picking up every single mp3-mp4 file on my hardrive (not just the files in my music folder). How can I fix this? Thanks
