Since the switch to Youtube Music (from Google Play Music), has anyone else noticed audio glitches periodically in the music they listen to via Youtube Music in the the Sonos App?Every so often in a song I get a quick static glitch sound. This does not happen with other sources, like Sonos Radio or Bandcamp. 

After today’s (22/12/2021) system update Sonos stopped playing Dolby atmos contents from Apple TV 4K. It plays other audio formats automatically like stereo Dolby digital 5.1 multichannel pcm 5.1 or 7.1. It shows audio as silence.  If I change the audio format to Dolby digital on Apple TV 4K in settings then it plays the content. Before this recent update Sonos was able to play the Dolby atmos contents from the Netflix on Apple TV or original Apple TV contents.   

When I try to add apple music to sonos, I get a blank screen. I went through all steps on the support page and nothing worked. I also have the latest sonos app and software installed.This is clearly a problem with the android app. How can I add apple music to my sonos system?

Hi  i recently had to reauthorise my apple music on my sonos but when i did that i was stuck at a blank page. Subsequenlt tried to remove itunes and add again - same issue. Also tried to reinstall sonos app - same blank screen. I am using android and have also updated my phone’s software there.  Pls help ! 

Half the time I try to access Apple Music on Sonos, I get an error message that says “We’ve run into a problem. Try again.” This has been going on for about a month. I have an all-Apple system (iPad, iPhone, iMac), all with up-to-date system software. Sonos is OS2, version 13.4.1. I have five Sonos speakers (two Ones, two Threes and a Roam). One of the speakers connects to my network via an Ethernet cable. 

I have issues connecting to BBC Radio shows as “listen again”, I keep getting “unable to play ‘Steffen Peddie: **/**/2021’ - the song is not encoded correctly.”They were playing fine this morning, but they don’t play this evening.

Pandora is working but Sirius is still not working.

Is anyone else having problems with BBC Radio 5 Live Sports extra. Tried tuning in this morning through my Sonos, but it's not playing and says that access is denied. I see that access is denied from outside UK but I am in the UK. Anyone else having the same problem or does anyone have a possible solution to this?Any help greatly appreciated.

I’m not seeing the “Ultra HD” badge when I stream Amazon HD on my Play:5 (gen 2) pair + Sub. It’s working fine on my Arc + Sub + Surrounds. Any thoughts?

Hi, suddenly tonight completely out of the blue, Sonos is asking me to re-authorise my Apple Music account. When you click on the re-authorise button absolutely nothing happens. I have re-installed both Sonos and Apple Music - still getting the re-authorise message. My Sonos controller is on my Samsung phone.  No other family members have the same message. How do I correct this?

Siriusxm streaming drops after 1 hour and sometimes sooner. Seems to be slightly less of a problem if I use Line-In rather than Group to get the signal to various rooms. I have two calls into some very patient techs who both spend a lot of time. The source of the problem has not been reliably established. Mysteriously, all music services but SiriusXM work without issue. Siriusxm streaming drops but Siriusxm On Demand is trouble free. Seemed less of a problem with S1. Never solved with S2 and Port (which replaced a Connect).Asus RT-AC 5300 router receives ISP service from ATT router (whose Wifi is turned off). Sonos linked to the Asus RT-AC 5300. There is an Asus AC-68U access point that does not link with any of the Sonos Speakers. The ISP is 25+ MB.There are 12 Sonos products. For all other functions, everything works. There are products distributed on 4 levels. The techs turned speakers off and on remotely. I had to do the reset manually on two or three speakers. Since getting a new computer, I cannot use/reset the music library. My old computer is not available anymore, so I am trying to set up a new folder on the new laptop.- Alas, to no avail. I read the topic to SMB 1.0/CIFS Server and made those changes - also set my network to private - still no result. The App is still seeking the old computer folder, that is not here anymore. Tried to install the system new, but seems to jump back to previous settings and seeking only folder. HELP!  Streaming and mobile works just fine. 

Hi I’ve seen several threads on here referring to the same issue. Up until today we’ve been able to run our playlists from Amazon through our Sonos system very successfully. However, now we get an error message ‘unable to play the song is not encoded correctly’ whenever we try to stream. Radio seems unaffected.  Previous posts suggests starting a new thread on here ( this is it) and citing a diagnostic number - 1520862957 sent at 1557 BST 22/10/21.  Thank you. 

I have a WD Mycloud Home drive. I copied all my music from my laptop onto the Mycloud drive. When I access the music library on the Mycloud using the Myclould music source, my library is not categorized correctly. For example a lot of my music falls into an unknown genre. However when I access the same music directly from my computer by using the adding the music library function, all my music is categorized correctly. So I am assuming that the meta data is correct on the actual files. Any idea why my music files that are on my computer are categorized correctly and the files, which are the same, on the Mylcoud are not? Thanks.

I’m french guy living in Sri Lanka.I’m using two Connect Amp1 with wifi.My iPod is connected with RCA behind one of Connect Amp.Until recently, music source selected to listen my Spotify playlists was through my iPod (see enclosed picture). Cause here in Sri Lanka datas for wifi are not unlimited and GB packages expensive, so I have downloaded all my Spotify playlists not to spend datas and it worked perfectly.Recently, no sound is coming when iPod is selected as source in Spotify app.Music only works using Sonos App. I have to select Bureau + Bureau 2 (my two Sonos amplifiers) on selected source on Spotify app on my iPod and then only works through Sonos App.So I feel it’s using Spotify in a way i don’t know, and not my iPod Spotify playlists, cause my GB are spend much every day…Any help would be grateful, Thanks ! 

I have 6oo favourite tracks on Deezer, my sonos system doesn't play them all. Anyone know why not?Thanks.

Hello people,  I just realized that my Pandora (opened on Sonos app) only shows and plays 4 of my 80 channels.  When I try to turn on Sonos from Pandora app I get an error message saying system unavailable.  It works fine from Sonos controller but with only 4 channels showing .  I have removed and reinstalled the app and it still just shows (same) 4 channels.  Has anyone run into this issue or have a fix?  

Hello Everyone,Since the last Sonos update (software and material).I have one problem with the planification of the music library (index). Sometimes that is work without problem and sometimes no. One more thing, I have make one test with different hours during the night or during the day, sometimes that works and sometimes no.All of my local configuration is the same : Sonos players, wifi setting, Nas MyCloud Ex2 Ultra, …Have you the same issue ?Have a nice Sunday.Kind regards.  

I just signed up YouTube music service and want to try it out on my Sonos. However, I found one of my favorite playlist could not be played via sonos. Most of the songs are greyed out. The error meesage is “ Access denied” Anyone has similar experience and how to resolve it?

Prior to upgrading windows 10 to 11 Sonos connected to music library on pc, after upgrade would not connect, removed music library connection, ensured SMB sharing modules enable, shared music library folders with “sonos wifi” all without any error, when I tried to connect to music library via desktop app I receive an error “error adding music (big red X) sonos was unable to add the music folder, reason: the computer (pc name) is not responding”. I checked to make sure sonos.exe was allowed in the firewall rules.I started a chat with support and once I explained the problem they pulled the connection, anyone have any suggestions, it would be appreciated.

I have a youtube music premium account and have added it to the sonos s2 app but when I go to youtube music all I see is “No selections are available” How can I play music from youtube music on my sonos?

When returning to my holliday home my Sonos app wants me to log in with somebody elses account.I removed the app and reinstalled, no result.Help

Just installed win 11. I can access music on another machine but when trying to add folder from my computer  I get sonos unable to add folder to music folder computer not responding. Network is set to private Defender is letting sonos through. is this a win 11 problem

Hi everyone, I am using Sonos players with Home Assistant which plays Sonos playlists automatically on some scenarios(e.g. someone getting home, Alexa receiving a voice command for playing some playlist...)I added a Netease Music “official playlist”(it always contains 20 songs and auto-updates on a daily basis) to Sonos(Netease Music > My Music > XXX playlist > Add to Sonos Playlist) a few days ago. Everything worked perfectly until today I found the playlist not updating. There are now 20 new songs in the playlist of Netease Music App, but the 20 songs in the playlist of Sonos App(Netease Music > My Music > XXX playlist) are just the same as the the day I added the playlist. Even if I delete the playlist from both Apps and re-add the playlist, the songs in the playlist in Sonos App remain the same as before.So I guess the songs of the playlist are kind of saved somewhere?  Would really appreciate it if someone knows where Netease Music "official playlists" are stored by

I have factory-reset all 10 of my sonos speakers.  I want to start installing over as if I never had any sonos speakers.   but the app keeps saying “let’s find your missing speakers” like it still knows I had them. how do I remove all references to my speakers and start over?   It seems dumb that I’d have to “abandon” the account and sign up with a new email address. I see many emails where people ask and answers are “why do you want to do that” or “you shouldn’t have to do that” -- I don’t care - I WANT TO FULLY REMOVE THEM from my account!
