I currently run 6 connect:amps to passive speakers and 2 play:5 speakers to power whole home audio. These were set up in 2012 so all are Gen 1. The system stopped working recently so I started attempting to individually connect each one to the sonos system (S1). I was able to connect one amp, however the app does not allow me to “add another product” to my account without updating the app. Obviously, if I update the app to S2 (which I assume is what the app is asking me to do) I will not be able to use my Gen 1 Connect:amps ?
Any suggestions how to reconnect my current hardware since the app is not allowing me to “add another device”, the option is grayed out and when clicked it pops up telling me to update app or not be able to add anything else.
