Original track order changed by Sonos

The ‘All Music’ folder tracks on my Synology NAS are in alphabetical order. Today when I tried to play it through my Sonos, the order was no longer alphabetical, more like random. How do I control this?

Sonos doesn’t, to my knowledge, apply any sorting algorithms to tracks, it only shows what has been handed to it.

That would suggest that the Synology handed it to Sonos in some different way today than previously. I’d try a manual library update, and see if the order ‘reverts’ back to what you’re accustomed to, on the offhand chance there was a need to wake the Synology, and made it present data in a slightly different manner, due to head locations on the hard drive.
