Controllers and Music services

I was in my start menu and hovered over my account name and noticed another account pop up named “Sonos Wireless HiFi System”, I clicked on it, and it just basically logs back in my account. It shows up in windows settings, accounts, other users as well. Using command prompt doing “query users” only my account shows, doing “net user” the sonos one shows but list my account as admin, I am wondering if this is a normal thing, and am guessing it has to do with how the sonos app streams music off my pc to the speaker. Or if is this not normal and I need to do something about it. other information that may help OS: Windows 11 (22H2) Build: 22621.1992SYMFONISK Bookshelf Speaker Sonos OS: S2Version: 15.6 (build 74043110)Hardware Version: 1.20.3.3-1.0

BonjourJ’ai fait l’acquisition de deux enceintes ERA 100 que je voulais appairer avec le système existant (Sonos Arc, Sub Gen 3, 2 Sonos SL). J’ai essayé toutes les associations possibles mais je n’arrive toujours à appairer la Sonos Arc avec les deux nouvelles enceintes ERA 100.Comment faire pour y remédier? I'd like to have a controller in the kitchen that guests can use to control the music and that shows now playing info.  Either on the wall or on a stand.  I understand that Sonos doesn't make anything like this. Has anyone else come up with a solution that they like and could share?  I saw that the new Google pixel tablet has a docking station so that might be an option but don't know much about it. Thanks for any suggestions.    

Hi support, I have installed SONOS APK on my Smartphone, it working fine, but after some months I see that I can't listen music that is on my Smartphone as before ... why ? BTW I can listen Radio by the application to my SONOS.Any advice to help me ?

Search in the app for an Album. This used to find albums in my collection or on Amazon or Spotify.Now with Spotify all I get is “Featured” songs and a link to open the Spotify app.Is there now way of playing whole albums from within the app any more? 

I have had couple of Sonos roam’s for about six months now. I installed the app on my android phone.  On my android phone, I have a micro SD card, that has my music library, thousands of songs. When I first was using the Sonos app, I would start it up and it would give me the choice of Sonos music, say the free stuff, Sonos radio or choosing my music library. Recently, when I start the app, I no longer see my music library that is on my android phone as a choice, only Sonos radio. I have had to upgraded a few times since I have owned them and can’t pinpoint exactly, but expect this change in behavior came after an upgrade. I looked through some of the community threads regarding issues with connecting to a music library but they all seemed to be connecting to a network connected music library device. My library is in the same device I am running the Sonos app on, my android phone. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

For the past 24 hours my Sonos app has only showed a black screen.  Running iPhone 13P on iOS 17 Developer Beta and latest Sonos update.  I have removed app and reinstalled it, issue remains.  Cheers for any help. 

I have a Synology NAS with locally stored music files that I play through my Sonos system via the Plex service. It has been working well for months but just tonight, i see that I am unable to browse my files either with the Android S2 Controller or via the Sonos App on my PC.I tried reauthorizing the service multiple times and each time a browser window opened and Plex reported that I had successfully reauthorized my account. However, when I returned to the Sonos controller, I was unable to browse my music files via the S2 App.I then deleted the Plex service (via the S2 App) and tried to re-add the service to Sonos. Initially, the App responds with “Check your network connection. There was a problem getting started….” However, there is no problem with my network connection as confirmed by my ability to post here.I have restarted everything -- router, all Sonos players + Boost, and I restarted my NAS drive. I have no problem logging into the NAS from a browser window on the PC and when

Hello.I have looked through the questions and haven’t seen one similar but apologies if already asked (there was one 3+ yrs ag).I have 3 x Play 1 and 1 x Play5 which are NOT compatible with S2.I recently removed the Bridge and have now managed to connect directly….. well two of them.I left the third and now, when trying to add, tI go to Settings > System > Add Product and a pop up box says Sonos app needs updating before I can do anything else.Clicking update on that open a window which takes me to the S2 app and asks me to download that. I really need to just add the final Play 1 into the existing system but circumnavigating the command to update to S2.Any thoughts appreciatedThanks.

When adding music services, Telmore music does not appear. According to everything I can find on the internet it should be there? Is there something im not understanding? 

The S2 controller constantly prompts me for an update, however, when I try to update I get a “An unexpected error occurred. Please try again” 

I have been trying to add a Western Digital external drive to  Sonos on my Macbook.  The response comes back “No path to be added as a share.”  I have also tried a flash drive.  Sonos can see the subfolders on both drives.  Are there any permission issues here.  How can I get the drives to attach to the Sonos system.  The external flash drives are connected via USB (of course).

When you use Plex server on its own (e.g. iOS app) you can review your whole library by looking at its folder structure. However, when using Plex to play on Sonos the only options are by By Artist and By Album, both relying on metadata that are notoriously dodgy. Why can’t Plex on Sonos replicate this most simple function? This is the only way forward… I am still using S1 - not sure whether it is worth investing in an upgrade to S2...

After years with only the occasional lost connection, my old S1 system cannot be found by the S1 controller, either on my iPhone or my MacBook Air.  Literally overnight -- boom; no way toreach any of the four series one Sonos components.  Have rebooted everything, reloaded the controllers -- nothing helps.Any ideas, anyone?

After the latest app update, when you tap on the Sonos Android app, it always wants to display an empty queue, even if the queue is empty or not in use. There is nothing to clear, edit, or save for later.  Why does the app default to showing something that is not in use when it really should be showing the devices on the network? To be clear, it only appears when you’re bringing the app back from sleep, but it’s annoying and not at all relevant, and it never behaved this way before. 

After a recent upgrade, when I open the Sonos app on my Android (Moto Edge) phone, the queue pops up. I don’t use the queue so it’s just an annoying barrier to entering the app to play my music. I can’t see any way to stop that from happening. Has anyone else solved this..? Thanks!

So odd question, but given that Sonos has removed the iPhone volume button functionality I am trying to see if I can come up with a solution or if I need to buy the Ikea remote.  Is there a way to have your TV run through arc and also use an old remote for volume for music?  I have tried my remote and it does not register when the soundbar is hooked dup to arc.  We use this soundbar for music all the time so I would like a better solution than the janky slider in the Sonos app.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

My Sonos Beam and Sonos One are setup with alarms to play different radio stations (both from TuneIn radio, both at 7am, Kiss FM and BBC Radio 1) however they sometimes both end up playing Kiss FM.When I go into the Sonos app on my PC it shows that they are playing the correct stations but they arent! (Kiss FM has a distinctive self-advertising jingle so I know its playing Kiss FM and not BBC 1)This happens fairly often, today being one of those occasions. I submitted a Sonos diagnostic report 898793610

So, I have an Arc, Sub Mini (and two Era 200s). I can't get the Sonos app to show the Atmos indicator from the Sonos app. I'm playing tracks that already to be Atmos from Amazon Music or Tidal.I reduced the surrounds to just leave the Arc and Sub Mini and it's the same.Do I need to remove the Sub as well? 

Is anyone else opening the Sonos app and it says Sonos like normal than just goes to a black screen

My IKEA SYMFONISK Bookshelf can find my router, but it cannot connect to the music files inside. I updated to the latest version of Sonos S2 Desktop App (v15.5) and is using a Mac. I’ve tried to connect to three different routers and it just doesn’t connect about every week or so. Is there anyone else who is experiencing this or is this just me?

I am getting versions of the error below constantly with Relisten.  I have tried different songs and get the error over and over again until, suddenly they just work.  I do not have similar issues with other services and there seems to be little rhyme or reason to when it works (20% of the time maybe) or when it does not work (80%).
