Controllers and Music services

I have a Sonos Beam gen 2 and 2 x ERA 300.When I play music from Apple music, most of the time it doesn't finish the song, but skips to the next one.The problem started with the new Sonos app. Until then, there was no problem.When I look at the network activity, when it caches a song at the beginning, it plays it without a problem - all of it. If it doesn't cache, it doesn't play it all.The network is fine, it's a fibre connection and for testing I turned off all devices on the network. Could you please advise? 

I did load the latest FW today but I have not had a chance to see what happens. After that last major IOS app update in May or so I keep losing the settings. All EQ settings, height & voice enhance all go back to 0 or drop out of my preferred settings. Last month I did a hard factory reset and it seemed better however it started again.What is odd is I can leave my place and lose WIFI, come back and everything is fine. When I’m at home and don’t go anywhere sometimes the settings reset themselves to 0 again. Very puzzling.                             

This New App does not allow me to go into System Settings to change surround , bass  treble , sub settings,  tv, music , etc etc.Before with old app it was easy. Finally it is asking me to sign out and sign in as owner to operate these settings. Frustrating is an understatement.  Tried to get old app back with no success.  

What did they do with the Sonos app???I have a wd my cloud network hdd where i have stored a lot of music.With the new app i am still able to see all the folders with my music in it on this hdd. The problem is that the play button to play an entire folder is gone so i am only able to play one song after each other.Also all of my playlists that i had made are gone. It feels like you buy a car and after a few years the manufacturer takes away the steering wheel... I was always very impressed by Sonos but this is gone in minutes when they do something like this!!! 

Just opened Sonos App ( set to auto update) to find all of my playlists have gone! How do I get them back.?

Where did my music library (NAS) go?

The new Sonos app is a catastrophe.  How can they release something that eliminates prior functionality.  It doesn’t allow saving of music, and I’ve completely lost my playlists.  It also takes forever for it to start playing item (an error message repeatedly pops up)I called customer support last night.  It took over an hour to,speak,with someone who sai there was nothing she could do.  How can a company be so irresponsible with its products.  I’ve spent a huge amount of money on the speakers that have been rendered useless 

Trying to adjust the treble and bass on a play 3 stereo play. When moving the treble and bass sliders across to the right , they automatically move back to the centre after a few seconds.

Since the latest update (80.03.07) the Sonos app all my services are removed and cannot connect to them. I formerly connected to and played them with no problem.  I see an error when I try to add a service that there is a message “check your internet  connection and try again”. There nothing wrong with my internet connection. Is this a know issue?

Hi,I am using the new Sonos app on iOS and there seems to be no way to add songs to Sonos or Tidal playlists from the app. Is this really true or am I missing something? Is it up to the music services to do something?  If true, this is HIGHLY disappointing as it was the primary way to build playlists between using the Sonos app and Tidal playlists - which I also use the latter outside the home. Please fix!

I would think that most people are streaming over the internet as opposed to pc and mac.Perhaps they are getting a kick back to force more people to stream over the internet for advertisingand other services. The new sonos android app version has a few major issues:Sonos does not display album art. Returning issue. Happened a few times before. Search function does not display Music Library tracks. Missing scroll bar (power scroll) in list display (artist, album, etc.) . It takes ages to swipe from ABC to ZZ-top. My library lists 10797 artists. Playlist cannot be cleared due to missing button.The windows app still works as it should, even after today’s update. The android app lacks functionality. It's clear that it's released without a proper beta test. What's the best solution? Roll back to an older version?

sonos app crashes as soon as I login to my sonos account. It has been working well for 3 years, and suddenly it started crashing. The same happens on my wife's phone. We bothe have android phones.

Sonos have neglected to include an alarm function in the app update as of 9th May 2024. very disappointed. Also a number of music services have been affected. I am sure this is an oversight - but with no communication from Sonos or announcement, it does not build confidence. Also - to cut off older systems and speakers is terribly bad form. Hopefully the Sonos event on the 14th will have everything resolved? Can we get some reassurance from Sonos customer service please?

I can't connect to deezer since the new app version.... The message received: a problem happened.…It never happened before this new versionPlease find a solution quickly. It is happening many timesAnd it is not a connection problem with Sonos as at the same time, Sonos is playing music from radio app

Hi, as mentioned in the title, I currently have a problem connecting my WD nas (My Book World Edition II) to the Sonos app. First of all I would like to say that in the past my nas connected correctly to Sonos and I have never done an update of the fimware or settings of the nas. After an update of the Sonos application the shared music library has disappeared from the application and I can no longer reconnect the nas. However, I have searched the nas settings to see if there are any problems with smb1 support but I cannot find anything about it. All I can say is that before the update everything worked and the nas configuration was not changed. As a side info, I can correctly connect to the nas from my Windows10 system. Thank you in advance

I'm trying to connect my sonos one sl and sonos beam and I continue to have the same issue with both. I get to the end and it tells me it's having trouble updating the device. I am also getting error code 1064 and error code 1106. Thanks for any assistance

I have reset my speaker multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and still gives me a update error and wont let me connect my speaker to my app.

Hi.  First post, due to the frustration of dealing with the new app (yeah, join the back of the queue, I know).Recent issue: when searching for an artist, the app finds it from my Deezer account, but if I try to select Top Tracks, Discography, etc, I get the really helpful ‘Something went wrong’.Deezer is linked as a service. Any suggestions?
