I have the 5.1 system with the play bar. Something happened a few weeks ago where all 4 speakers got removed from the stream app. They were there before. I've controlled them multiple times. Or at least I remember doing it.Im trying to add them back in. I reset one of them. That seems to get it back in the app, but it couldn't be linked. Sonos can't seem to find any of those speakers unless I reset them.I think the problem might be that its trying to re-register the product, but its already registered. I have the same account. Same wifi. Everything is the same. The speakers just disconnected for some reason. Is there something I can do to unregister or import these speakers? Before you ask. I've rebooted everything multiple times. Sonos app is ignoring those speakers I haven't attempted to reset.
Ever since my app updated, my Connect has very low volume. Connect→ Amp→ Speakers. Amp turned to 100%. Worked fine prior to update. Diagnostic: 502130599.
My Playbar suddenly stopped working with TV audio this week. I have an LG UK6570AUA using optical out. This has worked without issue for 2 years. If I go into the app I can play music. It will not recognize the TV input. I have this Playbar set up along with a sub and two surround speakers. Strangely when I try to use the volume up on the remote, the LED on the Playbar does not show anything. But when I press volume down, the LED blinks. Regardless if I go into the app it does not see that there is a TV source and raising the volume does nothing. So this happened for the first time last Thursday. I reset all connections, power cycled a few times, and eventually the playbar came back. Today (Saturday) same problem. I cannot do the same kabuki dance with all the wiring again. My wife is pissed. I had to go back to the TV speaker. I have seen other posts about this problem. Seems like a silly issue to have. Please help ASAP.
half of my sonos products have switched by themselveds to another wifi netwrok in my housr. how do i get everything back under the network that i want? i have sonos boost connected to router but half of my products arent even recoginiing it.

We recently changed our wifi password and I downloaded the new Sonos app. I‘ve been having trouble with the connection before, but now my Sonos won’t connect at all. I moved it to my room, which is closer to the decoder, and been trying to connect to WiFi both wireless and with ethernel. But it still can’t find my device. When trying to connect to WiFi the Sonos app says it’s the wrong password, but I’ve checked and it is the correct one..
Hi- when i log into the app/find the Sonos system on the wifi at a vacation home (not my account/home) it forces me to “update for more features”… but I’m not the owner and don’t know their account email/password. How can i use the system without going through this step?
Himy iPhone can’t find and connect with my Sonos after getting a new router?
Sounds very much like the WiFi card is broken on my playblase, having read this forum. Anyone contactable from Sonos support, as your UK phone number is disconnected..
My brand new Sonos speaker not allowing me to watch live streamed video - causing the video stream to skip and repeat like a broken record. When I switched to my laptop’s internal speakers it resumed playing just fine.
Ive bought three Sonos One speakers recently 2 black, 1 x white, two have worked perfectly (black) although the last one (white) wont conect via airplay (AIrplay “Unable to connect” to Den”,). Saying this all three work perfectly through the Sonos app.I have Factory reset offending speaker, rebooted IOS device,Rebooted router, changed name of the speaker, relocated the speaker. My thinking is the IOS airplay is at fault no so much the Wifi network or speaker.I have noted that the offending speaker has a hardware Version of 1.26.1.7-2.1 as the other speakers that are working have a hardware version of 1.26.1.7-2.2. I dont believe the descrepencies with these versions woudl be at fault, as the three speakers were bought within the last 1 month. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. CheersIan
Hi, I have a Sonos Amp (new generation). its been plugged in october. I noticed that often when changing songs on Spotify, I would hear a popping / cracking sound from my left speaker. I tried to reproduce the problem but it was really random. A week ago, it started cracking /popping at random pretty much at any time, on any source like when I use Spotify, my TV or my Amazon Fire stick. I interchanged the left and right speaker to see if the problem was coming from the speakers, and it was still only affecting the left channel... I tried new cables, new banana plug... New hdmi cable... Connected to my network with a cable... Still no luck…Is there a possibility that my amp needs to be repaired or maybe there's an update or something I could do? Thanks!
I am using two Fives in stereo mode + one sub.I noticed that the stereo is noticeably not balanced between left and right by default. One side is consistently louder. The pb seems to be Spotify specific.I tried to invert the Five speakers but it do not change anything (so it doesn’t seem to come from the speakers). I tried with Sonos Radio and had no issue. As a fix I updated my EQ balance to compensate. But it forces me to change my EQ settings when switching music sources + it should not happen anyway. Any idea how i can fix this?
Hello everyone. I have two IKEA speakers, connected on a almost dedicated wifi network (only a phone is also connected to it), with excellent connectivity to the router and no conflicting wifi networks. Listening to web radios and MP3 320kbs stored on my NAS works like a charm, but when I pick any FLAC music I get buffering errors, 1001 errors, or one second of music and numerous skipping and so on. The NAS is directly connected with a CAT 5E ethernet cable to the wireless AP, that shouldn't be a problem. Besides, listening to the music with a computer on the same wifi next to the speakers works flawlessly. What can I do to remedy to this problem? I am getting hopeless and it's next to impossible to use
Hello, it seems that every time my sonos system is running fine and I install the new update for the desktop controller it completely breaks my system. I have 10 sonos products and some now do not show up in my device list, streaming services for music all of the sudden have the wrong encoding and will not play, or will completely stop playing everywhere half way through a song. Every time we update it seems to be one problem after another. Does anyone else experience the same issues, and is there any resolve for audio disconnects and speakers disappearing? Again, my system was running fine before the most recent update. These issues have happened in the past after updates to the desktop controller as well but resolve over time after multiple router resets. Everything else on my home internet works fine, no boost networks that could interfere (that was another problem I discovered in the past and corrected).
I just purchased and set up a new ASUS-RT-AC86U/CA Dual Band Wireless Router. I have tried several times to connect the Sonos One to no avail. I searched this community and found an answer from 3 years ago. I moved the Sonos One right next to the router. I adjusted the router settings per the community answer to: wireless menu>>Professional Tab>>Airtime Fairness - and disabled. I tried the setup through the Sonos App on my iPhone but it did not work (the Sonos network does not appear in wifi settings). So then I used the alternative set up and plugged the speaker directly into the router. The speaker worked instantly. I could play music from the app and I could use the Hey Google command. So then I moved the Sonos One back to where I originally had it placed. I plugged it in, went to the app and it showed the many stations I could connect to but when I tried, it says it cannot locate the Sonos One. The Hey Google only answers that it’s not connected to the internet. I tried
I have 2 systems, One for my home and one for my work. I want to move a play 5 from work and put it on my home system. I disconnected the one i had on the home system. Now i can’t get either one to work. Is there a way of restoring both the sonos router and the speaker to factory settings so i can start over? I’ve tried doing the unplug and such but when i get to the step where is asks to press the connect button it keeps saying it won’t work. I’ve tried live chatting but they were no help. I;m really getting frustrated with sonos!
Hi.AMP that is just unpacked and connected to power makes noise. No loudspeakers connected (no cables at all except power), so the noise is mechanical.Noise is especially noticeable when AMP warms up.It is not very loud but still annoying in quiet room. AMP is new, never registered to Sonos servers.Do you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance,Tanel
I use Spotify between several devices. Usually, I can switch it seamlessly between my Sonos, TV, phone and computer. However, a few days ago, I can no longer connect it to the Sonos. It appears in my “Connect to a Device” list, but will not actually connect.I’ve updated its firmware and tried unplugging it several times, but nothing seems to work.Any fixes or advice? Thanks!Keith
I started using My Play:3 again after many months of inactivity, but when I plugged it in, I keep getting error message “Product Not Found.“ I rebooted it to factory settings, but keep getting the same error message. I am now very weary after repeating this process several times over an hour. Please help! I am failing horribly
Hi everyone,Posting here to see if anyone has run into this issue themselves, because it is one of the more peculiar issues I’ve run into. Spotify works fine on Sonos except for two use cases that I have identified.Spotify runs into the “An error occurred while adding songs to the queue (701)” error when trying to play songs specifically from the “Your Library > Liked Songs” section, however I believe this is probably due to the fact that I have a lot of songs saved on Spotify and Sonos might not be able to handle a queue import of a certain length. So I tested this theory by going to a joke Spotify playlist I made a few years back (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3g6qK5QC298x5YnVk3Kebn?si=g9lm_npFRh-OOPxA-hRrdA) which just has 10,000 copies of George Michael’s seminal Christmas hit ‘Last Christmas’, and I ran into exactly the same issue “An error occurred while adding songs to the queue (701)”.Is there an internal queue limit that Sonos uses? Have other people encountered this pro
