Hi.

AMP that is just unpacked and connected to power makes noise.

No loudspeakers connected (no cables at all except power), so the noise is mechanical.

Noise is especially noticeable when AMP warms up.

It is not very loud but still annoying in quiet room. 

AMP is new, never registered to Sonos servers.

Do you have any suggestions?

Return to place of purchase if from an online or local retailer or contact Sonos for an exchange if purchased direct. Sonos will probably ask that you finish setting up the Amp and submit a diagnostic.
