Has anyone processed a return in the UK, I've filled out the form twice this week http://www.sonos.com/en-gb/mbg Each time I fill the form out I get an email from Tech Support saying they will call within 24 hrs, which doesn't happen,, we're meant to get a returns label ?!

When will drop in be enabled on the Sonos? I am changing my speakers out in my house... I would not have transitioned to Alexa or Sonos if I knew this was not an option. I still have a lot of speakers to replace but do not want to move forward. Is this something Sonos is considering or do I need to find another solution?

When I ask Alexa to play a song, her response is that my "Amazon Marketplace settings are not properly configured for this device" (a Sonos One). Alexa works in all other respects. I've checked everyone on Amazon's end, and I can't see where the problem is. Here's some facts to consider. 1. We are US expats in London. We have 2 Amazon accounts, and I've made certain that the Amazon Music Unlimited account is tied to the UK account, and that the Amazon music services in Sonos are also tied to the UK account. Same thing for Alexa. 2. I wonder if the issue in any way related to the fact that my Sonos app comes from the US Google Play store, and not a UK-based Google Play account? Anyone else have the same problem when you ask Alexa to play a specific song?

So, after the latest update, Windows UPnP is not happy with the service description of the DeviceProperties service. So our driver is broken again. This has been an ongoing issue. I know there's a new API, but until it's capable of replacing the UPnP API, it's not of much use to us. Anyone else see this yet?

What am I doing (or saying) wrong? Set-up: I have a SONOS Beam, linked to my Apple TV Box via the Optical Adapter HDMI ARC Cable. The idea being, when I'm watching normal TV I use the TV speakers and when I watch a film via Apple TV, I get my sound through my SONOS Beam. This works great!! However, when I simply want to listen to music, whether it be Radio or a playlist,.. etc. I say: "Alexa, Play Radio 2". Alexa suggest she's found the station via TuneIn (or a playlist through Amazon Music) BUT doesn't play anything. I've checked the volume by playing something manually via my SONOS App on my phone. NOTE: The Apple TV box is off. Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Can I control my Hive using Alexa on the Sonos Beam? I have my Hive connected via Ethernet to my broadband hub?

I am signed in to Amazon music, pandora, Spotify premium, and iHeartRadio. However, when I ask alexa to play a station, song, artist, or playlist she only plays one song before an error occurs and stops playback. Any ideas how to fix this?

I recently purchased a Sonos One and love it. However the Alexa chime keeps going off randomly even though the wake word was never said. Sometimes the chime just happens and sometimes Alexa says something like I didn’t understand that or something along those lines. It is no where near my tv and I never have the volume loud at all so I don’t know what it is hearing that it thinks is the wake word.

Does my Sonos One support the drop in option that my echo dot has?

My Sonos Beam would not play any music service through Alexa. It would say, “Sorry, that device is offline”. Read a lot of posts but nothing worked for me. Finally, I renamed the room from “Living Room” to “TV Room”. I then deregistered the device from the Alexa App, removed voice service from the Sonos App, and then reset up Alexa with the Sonos App. And amazingly everything started working again. I hope this works for anybody that is having the same problem because it was a frustrating process.

I have apple music and amazon prime I've tried to ask alexa to play some musc or tell alexa to ask sonos to play some music and both of those commands does not work. I've tried factory resetting, forgetting all the devices and disable enable sonos skills my account address in sonos is UK I put the address of my device in alexa to UK as well. Playing amazon music or apple music from sonos app is working just fine. I read many posts regarding this matter on this forum, and it seems like a common issue but I couldn't find a solution that works for me on those posts. This is really frustrating. It would be nice to get some help to figure this out.

Any reason why Alexa's mic keeps turning off? This is the third time it has happened. I can't tell if it is in response to a power outage or not, but no one can touch the top panel where she sits. If it is because of losing power, shouldn't it default to on when power is restored?

Hi, I have recently purchased and set up a new Sonos One. I added voice services yesterday and am having difficulties in getting Alexa to respond to ANY questions. Hi everyone! I'm recently moved to Spain but my Sonos One is coming later this month with all my stuff. Can I use Alexa from Spain with a new account? How can I set up for continue asking about life to Alexa? I just want to keep using this amazing feature but I want to know if it's possible. I'm having several issues with Alexa and my new Beam. None of them seem to be affecting functionality, but the Alexa app isn't able to perform some actions, and shows an error message. First, a quick rundown of my setup: Devices: Nursery - Play:1 Dining Room - Play:1 Living Room - Beam/Play:1/Play:1 stereo setup with TV Before, I just had one Play:1 in the living room, and everything was working perfectly. I added the Beam, and combined two Play:1s with it to create Dolby 5.1 surrounds. Let me be clear, from the Sonos app, everything seems to be working as expected (and the sound is incredible, by the way). But within the Alexa app, I have a few issues: 1. I'm not able to add my location to multiple devices. I've seen this issue come up for several people, so perhaps it will be fixed in the future, but it is a bit annoying that I can't add it. 2. In the "Living Room" group, there's an error message at the top, and it didn't exist before adding the Beam setup, so

I've googled and found a lot of people who've had the same issue as this, but I haven't been able to fix it. I hope someone here can... I'm helping out an elderly lady who asked me for advice on getting a soundbar. Her requirements were decent sound, easy to use and Amazon Alexa compatibility - she's already invested in the Amazon ecosystem and wanted to add functionality to her living room. After some research, she totally ignored my suggestion and went with the Sonos Beam. I've tried everything but on my new Sonos One Alexa says "Here's your news briefing" and then stops talking. I thought this should be supported now? Any advice?

Installed new sonos one worked fine with alexa for 2 days then alexa didnt understand anything. Followed thenusual troubleshooting ie uninstallnturn off router rreinatall blah bla but hey atill not working. So far a waste of money spent.why does alexa not work!?

I have a Sonos Beam called Living Room and an Echo Dot. How do I tell Alexa to play music specifically from the Echo Dot or Beam?

Hi, I have a Sonos One device (my one and only device) showing as "kitchen" on the Alexa app and and I am unable to save its location. I live in Montreal, Canada. Did not have problems saving the location for the Sonos One but unable to save for the "kitchen" which is the same unit...?? Why is that. I can ask Alexa "Where am I?" and she knows exactly where I am, but yet she cannot give me the weather because she doesn't know where I am... makes no sense. Tried many uninstall, remove device, detect device... no change every time. Very frustrating, spent many hours trying to resolve the problem, no luck still. Thanks for all the help !

I have 4 Echo Dots, 2 of which are in the same room as Play 1’s I have 2 Sonos Ones in different rooms. Is there any way to get Alexa / Sonos to work with multiple streams in different rooms? I have Apple Music Family, Amazon Prime (Not Unlimited) and Spotify Premium (Not Family) All works great for a single user, but now my daughter has started using an Echo Dot it disrupts my listening. I could be persuaded to move from Apple Music to one of the other Family services if we could use Alexa to stream different music to different speakers at the same time. Anyone know if this is possible? I tried to search but all the results I can find seem to be more along grouping multiple zones for streams, which is not what I need. TIA

I re-enabled Alexa on our play:ones this evening after disabling it out of frustration. It’s my understanding that the play ones determine which speaker is closer, and Alexa replies on the nearest speaker. However, I’ve had both replying (with different responses!) at the same time. For example, I used the valid “Alexa, ask Xbox what can I say?” One speaker said “sorry, I’m not sure,” while the other one rattled off command options. It also happened when I asked the test question, “Alexa, who is your favorite Beatle?” The bugginess was a reminder why I disabled this feature in the first place, but I really want to be able to use the Xbox voice commands. Does anyone have any input?
