Hi I am looking to buy the sonos outdoor speakers with the amp. The 2 architectural speakers and amp come to $1,578. Best buy seems to sell their version of these - Sonance - MAG Series 2.0-Ch. Outdoor Streaming Music System Powered By Sonos® - Does anyone know what the difference between these are?Does it matter? thanks
My Sonos Play:1 speakers worked fine for years, now they won’t talk to my router. I have reset everything and started again from scratch to no avail.Play:1 speakers work fine when plugged in to router with Ethernet cable, and they are definitely being picked up by my phone when trying to set up, they simply won’t work on my wifi any longer. The router is a good D-Link system, couple of years old, and all other internet in the house works fine. Not sure what to try next!!

Is It possible to connect Sonos wirelessly to xbox? I have a play 5 & Play 1 I think gen 1.
Hi I have 2 speakers in kitchen ceiling and 2 outside speakers in an outside space,They run off the same amp, and I can turn each pair/space off separately as the speakers run through rocker switch, which works perfectly How can I alter the volume as kitchen speakers are louder than outside so could I control the kitchen ones through a volume control dial instead of the rocker switch, then I could reduce the volume to the inside ones via the turn dial, if so what make as I can only find one that controls upto 30w which is not enough for the sonos speakers The controls are all in a cupboard so doesn’t matter what it looks like just that when it’s loud outside it’s defeating in the kitchen Any suggestion please
Multiple sites on Amazon are selling architectural ceiling speakers for what amount to almost half price. The app does recognize them as genuine architectural speakers. How can I verify if these are actually real or not. Some reviews swear they’re real but sonos wont cover the warranty because they’re not an authorized dealer. Any suggestions?
I have two wireless networks, one that connects to the internet and then google mesh that connects my house. I have NEVER set up my Sonos on the router that connects the internet to the house, only on my mesh system, so how and why are Sonos speakers and the amp connecting to a wireless signal they were never set up on? After disconnecting these devices & removing that system from my acct, and reconnecting to the mesh signal, why are they reverting back to the removed account?
When I have my beam connected to my Philips tv I have full surround sound from beam and two play 1s.when watching tv through my bt box I only get sound from the beam not the two play 1s even though on the sonos app it says 5.1.
Sorry for what must surely be the most common question regarding if muY Sonos components collected over the years will work with my TVs…my components in TV area are two SL One speakers and a Sub Gen 3. TV is a Samsung UN65MU6290. Basic Smart TV that we treat all content through our cable router via Bluetooth. Hoping someone out there has an easy to understand and execute method to connect so we can enjoy this great audio sound while watch tv. or a good link to an article or tutorial for a tech challenged person like myself. Thanks in advance.
I just got a pair of Play SL speakers so I can have Airplay 2 functionality. (Yay!) I’m annoyed, however that my perfectly good Play: 1 speakers are effectively “bricked” now. Any suggestions on how to re-purpose these speakers?. For example: can I use them as monitor speakers or computer speaker via the Ethernet port? Should I just sell them on eBay?
Hello everybody! I’m desperate, receive for Christmas a Sonos one and a Sonos roam. I can’t connect none of these to the app. Doesn’t appear and it’s not detected by the wifi. I noticed the app only offers me to add to an existing system and never to connect a new one. It’s been clicking in green all day long. It’s been charged the night before so I don’t think this would be the problem. Tried all the tricks written in the website page: turn off then up the router, reinstall the app, reboot the Sonos… Is there a last trick I can try before returning them?Thank you for your help.
In my Sonos app my Sonos One speakers are labeled as One(LS) and One(RS). Does the LS & RS denote left speaker and right speaker? I am asking because I am not really noticing stereo separation.
My Sonos Arc was never normal since coming out off the box. It would not set up for two days over the weekend when it arrived and then suddenly started flashing the set up light on the Monday I was going to call support. Problem solved, right?Fast forward 2 weeks and it lost its connection with my network and the indicator started flashing white. When through all the trouble shooting steps (funny how these things happen on the weekend or holiday when there is no support) and then randomly started working again after two hours while I was watching TV. Then after about 20 min working started making loud clicking noise then an extremely loud noises at a sound level I did not think possible. I unplugged it but fear it needs replacement?
I can not to Connect my sonos one via Bluetooth can I do it? In With way? Thanks for help
We added a new Sonos One SL to our system today and had to upgrade from S1 to S2. Now we experience that the old Sonos Play:1 will not play next song in list. It just stops after the song is finished. Have no idea what to do to make it work. There is no network problem at all.
I have spent hundreds of dollars on my whole house 7 speaker system and it is CONSTANTLY giving me problems overt the past 2 years. It is the MOST UNRELIABLE POS I have ever had to deal with.. I have come to the conclusion that the system actually sucks and I will be selling it all and replacing it with a RELIABLE speaker system.
I must admit I don’t understand the Sonos/Apple Music interface. I can find music I want to play on Apple Music and it plays through the phone. I can add songs and albums to playlists. But when I choose Apple Music as the source in the Sonos app, often the playlists and songs I’ve added do not appear. What is the right “workflow” to use when using Apple Music as Sonos source?
i setup a sl1 system on my ipad using s2 app and when i go to set it up on my phone it asks me to go through the setup again which screws up the ipad setup
Using Sonos Beam 2So all audio to a Sonos speaker must go through the Sonos app, no exceptions. No Sonos app, the speaker makes no noise.Use the Sonos App to launch Pandora as a test to get some sound.Close Pandora and Sonos apps music keeps playing,Close all apps, speaker keeps playing. Turn off phone...speaker keeps playing.Uninstall Sonos App and still cannot turn off speaker.Turn on phone and start Pandora, Pandora says that another device is actively logged on my Pandora account. Music plays independently and simultaneously on both phone and Sonos speaker.Reinstall and start Sonos App and it will not connect to Beam 2 speaker, asks for GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth to be turned on, and still will not connect. Music keeps playing on speaker with no ability to control it from any device. Finally pull the power plug to stop the music and turn off the speaker since there is no power button? What is with the Sonos Beam 2? Never in my life have I had an application hijack an App and then I have
Because Sonos insists on closing questions to comments I will ask the question yet again despite the disturbing number of people who have or have had the same problem. The problem is that Sonos Roam is an atrocious piece of kit. When it decides to occasionally connect to our wifi network it is impossible to connect it to Bluetooth. I have read every question/comment/so-called solution in this forum to no avail. We have a fibre street connection, a wifi network that has operated for 15 years without fault. I can run/stream/connect every other device known to mankind to the network once and leave it to breathe. We have to reset the Sonos “network” every other week. I have to power down all the speakers. We have to reinstall Sonos on all our devices (all iPhone/iPad/Mac) and hope and pray that it will work. The Roam had never connected to Bluetooth. I can connect to any other Bluetooth device available. I can buy a $10 Bluetooth speaker from the warehouse down the road and connect to i
This speaker requires you to fully commit every facet of it's use through the Sonos App. No sound can come from the speaker that does not go through Sonos web services first. No exceptions. If there is any network problem with you, your ISP, your cell provider or Sonos, the speaker will be unusable, as it all must pass through the Sonos App.Was excited to get the Sonos Beam 2 in the mail, hooked it up to my TV……then…..Sonos happened.I'm forced to install a Sonos app and give Sonos every permission available (location, full name, email, network access, microphone access, phone access, device history access?). It’s just a speaker! WTF?!Forced to use Sonos app to use a speaker I just paid $500 for? Can’t play any audio from my phone to the speaker, no music, no radio, no podcast, and no other devices can connect. All must pass through the one and only Sonos app on the one phone entity with no other connection options permitted. Can’t connect directly through the Wi-Fi and there is no Bluet
