I have to re-add all of my speakers to my system each time I want to use them, and most of the time, they don’t show up and won’t connect. I have spent hours on the phone with support over multiple calls, and no one has a resolution. This system is a waste of money, especially since the sound quality doesn’t come close to other systems.
Cannot update Sonos, Error Code 1: Sub.This is with the S2 Sonos app. I have 2 rooms with Sonos equipment in them.In my main room, I have 1 no. Sonos TV Soundbar, 2 no. Sonos Play 1s & a Sub.In my other room, I have 1 no. Sonos 1 paired with a Sonos 1 SL & a Sub.When first clicking on ‘Check for software updates’ on the ‘Manage’ tab, when the update gets to ‘finishing,’ I am told I have an update problem.’There was a problem during the update of your Sonos system.’’Select ‘Try again’ to repeat the update.’I can try this for time immemorial, but it still does not finish updating.When I click on ‘More information,’ I get ‘Error code 1: Sub.’ If I click on the ‘For more information, see’ link, I get a range of updated ideas to try.What I have tried:Retry the update. That does not work. Reboot your router. That did not work.What I haven’t tried:Reboot your Sonos products. I have two Sono One speakers on wifi. Unpaired, both play fine, both individually and together.When I try to make a Stereo Pair out of them, the second one added has no sound. If I create the pair using the L speaker, the R doesn’t have sound. If I create the pair using the R speaker, the L doesn’t have sound.I have tried power cycling them and plugging them into ethernet. Nothing has worked. Software is up to date. I’d like to avoid a factory reset as I’ve wasted enough time on these already.
Have correct app on latest version as are all my Sonos products. I have a Sonos one in the bedroom where the status light is turned off so not to disturb us while sleeping. However it keeps turning back on and even though I deselect it again in the app, once again it comes back on, very annoying. Any pointers to help 🤔 Thanks
My Sonos one SL stopped working from one day to the other. I’ve tried different power cables, factory reset and anything else I could find online to no avail. The unit is just over two years old so there’s no more warranty. I have another nine Sonos One installed, but if this keeps happening, I’m very tempted to sell the whole bunch and switch to an alternative. Hello, the sound quality from my Era100s is terrbile when the audio is coming from the TV. It has always been like this. Difficult to describe, but it sounds very quiet and very, very rough. When playing from the Sonos app they sound like they are supposed to (loud, crisp and clear). My setup:TV LG OLED48C14LBSKY StreamBeam (Gen2)Sub MiniEra100 x2HDMI 2.0 cables The TV is connected to the Beam via the HDMI2 ARC port, and SKY Stream via HDMI1. The Beam is connected to the router via ethernet. The Sub mini and Eras are wireless. The TV “Sound Out” is set to “HDMI(ARC) Device” and “DTV Audio Setting” is “Dolby Digital Plus”. Is my setup at fault, or can anyone give me advice? It does strike me as odd that there is a fault somewhere with hardware or software. Could it be that the HDMI2.0 cables have to be HDMI2.1, as the only material difference between the audio coming from the Beam itself or the TV is the TV itself and the cable(s). Thanks for any advice.
Greetings:I am having massive problems with my Sonos system (Arc, Sub 3, two One SLs as surrounds). One symptom is that I can’t get sound from my 4k blu-ray player, although the picture is fine. I have spent literally days trying to figure it out, but I guess it’s too complicated to deal with here. I have a 65” LG G3, an Apple TV 4K with ethernet and 256gb, and an Oppo 4k player. But one simple thing is happening, maybe this will be a clue. When I play a Tidal playlist, using the Apple TV Tidal app, whenever I hit a Tidal song that features Dolby Atmos, I get a big red warning about how my device does not support Atmos, and that the song will be covered to stereo. I’d be fine with that, except the resulting sound is very low and muffled. I also tried turning off the Arc and seeing if the ‘stereo’ sound would be going to the surround. It doesn’t. When I try the same playlist using Apple Music, it plays fine, although I’m not sure if it is playing Dolby Atmos or not. What could be causin
I have a Verizon router CR200A and after switching and I can't figure out why it won't communicate with the router. I have plugged it in directly and the app sees the device amd attempts to set it up and fails on the password handshake. I need to sell my system for rent in 6 days and my buyer is requesting proof the speakers work and I really need help badly.

I have the Sonos app downloaded on my iPad as well on my google pixel 7 pro softphone. on the One on ipad it recognize One part of my whole system namely soundbar and 2 speakers play:1.and on my softphone its recognizing only my Sonos One but not my soundbar and the play:1and for both devices it claims not to be able to find the missing parts????? they are of course connected to the same network.
This is my first Sonos speaker. In order to set up play 3, I had to connect it to my router with an ethernet cable. When I move the speaker to a different location, it was not recognized. Has anyone experienced this and solved the problem?

If I have two Play 1s in a group (room), pressing the mute button on one shuts off both. Latest Sonos software still not fixed, dumster fire, Cant register my Sonos Play 1 x2 and my PlayBar after changing internet supplier.Waited over 6 months to get a woirking update to sonos soggyware, but this forum is still full of customer who have unusable products.Have factory reset, allowed sonos to upgrade firmware on devices, and all 3 are recognised but wont register.
Hello, I purchased the Arc 300 and had it hardwired to the t.v. It always works because it's hard wired. The problem with the Move 2 is that it does not want to connect to the Arc when you turn it on. In fact, a lot of times it plays the last station of music from the Sonos app which is closed, while the t.v. plays on the Arc. This happens ALL the time. It is connected to the router, not Bluetooth. I have contacted Sonos support but they cannot permanently fix the problem. Does anyone have a fix for this, please?
I have two homes, one with eight Sonos 2 devices which now, finally, after eighteen months of not having music, actually play something.Now my other 3 bricked Sonos 5 devices in my other home on an S1 network have started skipping and have become as useless as my S2s were.Yes, I have tried reboots, resets, firmware, everything recommended (I have spent thirty years in IP network engineering).I suspect the problem is 2.5/5 network compatibility, but with my current broadband provider I cannot reset this, and even if I did it would break my other networks such as Nest and Ring.This is just another Sonos f*** up that they need to sort out. I have problems with the speech enhancement feature in the Sonos app for my Era 300 and Era 100 systems. In the lastest version of Sonos app for Android and iOS, appears the speech enhancement feature available for my Era 300 and Era 100 systems so it was a feature I was waiting, due to I use my speakers also as TV sound system but initially the equalization options in the app were so poor and didn't have an option for enhancement of the voice. In this new version of the app I tried to enable this feature that is available for both Era 300 and Era 100 but, several times I enabled, when I return to the app to verify that is enabled, this feature have disabled automatically after some minutes or hours. In the Sonos support chat have told me that this option is only available for Home theater systems and to be available for other systems is an error that will be corrected. I told to the support agent that will be desirable that Sonos don't remove this feature for non Home theater systems

They made me buy a new router to my home and I can’t connect my play:3 and symfonik bookshell speakers to new wifi. The app on my iPhone does not find the speakers, it only says that can’t find a speakers.So i reset the speakers, no help there, put a ethernet cable in and one of the speakers, play:3 starts playing, ok , that's good, but the app won’t still find it and when I unplug the ethernet cable music stops.Elisa, finnish company says that the problem is with Sonos because my speakers are so old and the new router is new, top of the line product with 5g and 5 giga system…What I can do next?
I have a new Sub Mini. I have added it to my system and it shows up as Sub Mini not assigned. If I go the room I have named Library the App tells me I have a stereo pair consisting of a Play 1 left and a Play 1 right. I also have a box which says Connect Sub + and Remove Sub X. If I press Connect Sub I get a new window which says “Let’s add a sub to Library” I then click on Continue. I then get a picture of a Sub Mini and I I am asked to select the sub. I then collect on select. I then get another picture of a sub mini and a box which is a long horizontal slit. A black line Strats to go across and then the screen changes and the message “There was a problem adding your Sub Mini. Check the network connection and make sure that your subject is powered on.” Underneath is a big exclamation mark ! in a circle. Below that a “Try again” button. So, as far as I know the Sub Mini is on. It has a steady white light and my system can see it. I have no idea how to check my network connection but
