I have two (2) Play 5’s that are randomly disconnecting the stereo pair. Happens in Apple Music, Spotify, and Line In.

Play 5's keep unlinking stereo pair

Separate them as a stereo pair. Then unplug both speakers from power for a couple of minutes and reboot your router. Then swap the speakers and and plug them back in and set them up as a stereo pair again.
