Hello, I have two Sonos Play:1s in the same room and paired for left and right play. I control them using the S2 iPhone app. Other details:Version: 14.20.1 (build 70436090)Hardware Version: 1.8.3.7-2.0Series ID: A101Since changing wifi router they will play a few songs for roughly ten/fifteen minutes and then stop. When the music stops, the entire network no longer has internet connectivity. All wireless and wired products stay connected to the network but can no longer access the internet. To resolve I have to restart my router. Does anybody have any solutions? The behaviour means I have stopped using my Sonos system which is really frustrating. Thank you in advance!
Hello, hoping someone can help me as customer support is offline in Australia at the mo. I have a few Sonos speakers dotted around the house, all of them, bar one, are happily working on S2. My Play 5 Gen 1 can’t connect to it, so has been sitting like a brick for a while.I understand there is no workaround for this, so decided to buy a turntable that I could plug directly into the Play 5 via the 3.5mm aux. I *thought* I’d be able to just download the S1 app and connect solely to the Play 5 for the purpose of playing records, but when plugging it in, it just flashes white.I have tried resetting (holding the |> button while unplugging/re-plugging), and have tried connecting via ethernet to my router, and resetting again, but nothing - the lights on either end (router/speaker) don’t even register it.How can I get my Play 5 working independently of the rest of the system? I was hoping it would be easy…Thank you!
Hey everyone. I have 3x Play3 and a sonos Amp. 2 of the Play 3s are grouped together downstairs to play in the kitchen and dining room. However, they are dropping out randomly. Sometimes the kitchen oneSometimes the dining room.I've tried moving speakers, I've tried restarting routers with everything off and switching them on afterward. I've tried seeing if there are any updates. No joy. This is playing BBC sounds or Spotify btw. Internet speed of around 40mbpsCan anyone help me ?
How can I play my itunes playlists on Sonos One’s?
For about the sixth time this week the Sonos system has become invisible to the Sonos app - on Desktop (and occasionally on the Android App). However Spotify detects the device. On occasion Spotify cannot detect the device but the Sonos App can…..Madness….I have set fixed IP addresses for the Sonos devices as previously suggested. Rebooted router (ASUS Restarted Devicesetc etcI can’t keep doing this ad infinitum…..
Hello, I am having an issue. For months now, every single day, my ‘bedroom’ Sonos One’s have an alarm that goes off at 8:30am. I can say “Sonos cancel” and it turns off But if I say “Sonos cancel my alarm” it says “there are no timers set”If I look on the app there are no alarms or timers set I have disconnected all other programs (like Alexa) and the alarm still goes off. I have checked previously linked smart voices (like alexa) and there are no alarms set with them either. I cannot figure out how to get it to stop. Please help
I have a single era100 which I use over wifi (Spotify mainly), line in (xbox) and bluetooth (turntable)I am considering buying a second one to create a stereo pair.Question I have is will I be able to use the bluetooth and line in across the stereo pair as well as Spotify.Id really like the xbox and turntable to come through as stereo as well as Spotify. I’m no longer able to connect my line-in feed (a turntable) to most of the speakers in my home. This is suddenly a problem for the past few days after a full year of no issues at all. When I activate the line-in and try selecting any other speakers except the 5 (which is wired to the turntable) and my ceiling kitchen speakers (which are connected to my Sonos Amp), it makes all the sound stop and eventually says it can’t connect to the device. Nothing about my home or set-up has changed so I have no idea why this is happening. Submitted a diagnostic—1125498172.
Hi @ All,Yesterday I received my pair of Sonos Era 300 and after I installed them on the stands I immediately noticed that the build quality of both speakers is not what I expect from Sonos as it seems that the backplate is somehow not even installed on both of my speakers.I googled it and it seems that this concert more people:https://www.reddit.com/r/sonos/comments/1253qem/era_300_manufacturer_defect/Can some Era 300 owners confirm that they also have this problem?
Hi All I am a 65 year old Sonos novice and have now joined your community to look for help as I cannot resolve my issue although I have been adding to the sonos system for a number of years now I haven't suffered from many issues. I have recently noticed that when I group two of the main rooms the sound begins to distort on the one’s at times but not all of the time only occasionally 2 one’s in same room will distort or cut out the other room sounds fine, should I group an additional main room (all three main rooms together) all the one’s distort. In each of the three main rooms I have the following 1 Play base + 2 One’s + 1 Sub, an additional room has 2 one’s + 1 Ray which was recently added also further additional 5 rooms each having 1 one.The complete system comprises of the following3 x Sub3 x Play Base1 x Ray15 x One (2 not yet connected?)I have searched the online help but cannot find anything relating to this issue the system has been updated as of this morning and I have reset
Just got this new router from the ISP and my speakers always disconnect or cannot be found. Have to always find and re-start the router to find all speakers. Sonos say’s to name the bands to separate them but ISP says it is not possible with this router. The page that lists routers that are not compatible does not list this router. Has anyone find a solution for this issue with this specific router? Is my only option is to get another router that lets you separate the bands (2.4ghz/ghz)???Set up:1 Beam4 Sonos Play11 Move
On-line chatted with a Sonos rep to determine if the audio output of my windows 11 can be sent to the Sonos SL One. The speaker does not have a line in. Is there any workaround to be able to accomplish windows 11 audio output to Sonos SL One speaker?Thank you
Hello friends, I have a problem with my Sonos Play 1. I tried to factory reset them as described on the official website, but I can't. When the buttons are pressed, the white indicator should flash, then white and orange, and after 10 seconds green. But the green light just doesn't appear or appear at all.Is there any way to reset the sonos play 1 using an app? It is to reset the speakers through the application, and not to reset the application itself. Thanks!
Hi!5 of my sonos speakers are set up and working fine on my new router. However, 2 of my sonos speakers wont connect. I keep getting an message saying product not found. Ive done a hard reset, connected it via ethernet and even called tech support. I’m so discouraged.
My Play 1 speaker won’t connect wirelessly to my new BTHub2 router
Just picked up a pair of Era 300s with the Sub Mini for music listening only in my living room. I got the sub thinking it was just a given that I would need it. However, I find that I actually get more and better bass performance without the sub from just the stereo pair of the 300s. I was very surprised at this but after A/B testing with and without the sub, I’m getting better bass without it. Anyone else have this combo? I’m thinking I may return the sun to save some cash.
Hi, I am looking to purchase 2 in-ceiling mounted speakers and amp + Sonos Beam + Era100.Can I set up a Group that includes the ceiling speakers and Era 100 and another group that may include the Sonos Beam and In-Celing Speakers
Current set up in living room:75” TVSKY Q Sonos soundbar, sub and 2 x 5’s (group - living room)We want to use a projector in the living room without chasing walls for cabling - we have refurbed the room not long ago.The projector will go on the ceiling in the living room and receive video signal via hdmi from bedroom above living room. The problem is getting sound to the current Sonos surround set up without cables. My solution. Install a Sonos Beam 2 in the bedroom. When we want to watch the projector, “group” the Beam with living room group (mute the Beam).I know it works, and will produce sound. However, will latency be a major issue? And will the sound be in Dolby 5.1 etc or plain old stereo?Much appreciated.
Hello, How come I can only hardwire one Sonos device at a time? As soon as I hardwire one more Sonos device my broadband connection stops working. Maybe it is caused by a loop. When I used a DSL router this was not a problem. Now I use a Technicolor router for a coax connection. I don't use any switches or access pointsThank you in advance.
I have an orginal play 1 that is connected to my wifi network but I cannot see it in other music apps such as spotify - any ideas? Thanks
I have my play 5 connected to my PC via line in. I seem to have a problem with one channel on the line in on the play 5.I’ve tried the line in on other devices and it works OK. This was a lot of money when purchased so I hope its not now a brick ;-(
If I am watching something on Apple TV through Beam in my living room I can group the IKEA symfonisk in my bedroom and it works great. But if I try to group the Five in my office or Roam SL anywhere it sounds like it’s skipping or something. Hard to explain but definitely not listenable. Any ideas?
Is it worthwhile or possible to connect a legacy Sonos system to a new ARC system?
